Amy,

Those are great pictures! You look amazing. I look more pregnant than you do! :lmao: :rotfl2: Alyssa looks adorable & your new neice is so sweet. That carosel looks awesome..love the different animals. Thanks for posting the pix.

Yep, I knew there were more Cinncinati folks out there..wasn't sure exactly where everyone is. My DH's home office is in Columbus so we will have to arrange something when he has to go back... Every time he goes out there he brings back the home magazines...it amazes me to no end what a nice large house with storage, closets, & space we could get in Ohio with the same money on L.I. you get a small cape with no basement & one bathroom!!! :sad2:

Thanks :teeth:

And Anne Marie, there's a CF in Columbus as well. My guess is, if you travelled this far, we might be able to meet you 90 minutes away ;)

That would be nice of you!!!! I think he is not back to Oh until September but that sounds like a plan. That's funny I just realized he always eats at CF & PF Changs when he is there..(& he has always gotten sick from PF Changs & yet he returns! :confused3 )

Ok now I am thinking about the godiva chocolate cheesecake...drool.

I know!!! I never realized how low the cost of living is here.... everywhere we went for residency was expensive, but LI was nuts! I knew it was expensive (who doesn't), but I thought it would be like a million dollars for a milllion dollar home (in my brain) and it was only expensive because you didn't have any other choices. imagine my sticker shock!

Amy great pictures, thanks for sharing. :)
For some reason I thought you wore glasses. :confused3

When I was little I had a ton of smocked dresses, Polly Flinders. I really wish my mom would have saved them. I love the look of the smocking but it is really hard to find them around here.

I did not have any idea about Polly Flinders until my MIL bought some for my DD. Now that I look back at baby pictures of me and my sisters, my grandmother used to make those kind of dresses for us. Very frilly and flouncy.

Chuck has been really stiff and getting worse for about a month. He went to the doctor today. He has to go back to have some tests. They are looking for lyme disease, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. I sure hope they find something treatable because he has been miserable.

CHUCK!!!!!! (I know you are reading this)
You get better because Vicki needs you to spend time with her online (she is always on it you know).

PD :wizard: and prayers for a quick recovery.

Here are some pictures from the fifteen minutes we spent on the zoo carrousel yesterday! Perhaps she'll ride every animal by the end of the summer! :teeth:

You know, it's amazing how much kids change in a year. It's been almost a year since the DDA started, and Alyssa looks so much older. I noticed it with Julia, too. Alyssa is darling, as always, and I still say you don't look pregnant. Especially since you can still fit in a slide!

So I got a random call from Disney tonight. Apparently ADR's were made with my phone number for last week plus there is one for June 13th. I was like, I wish I could use them but alas I did not make them and can't figure out how it happened. The one for June 13th was a mistake for ours on August 13th but it had been corrected by our travel agent. The others were made several months ago. I am guessing someone entered our phone number instead of a reservation number or something, but they were no shows.

Perhaps they were a sign I should have been on the DDA trip or something. :rotfl2: I just thought it was really weird.

I agree, it was a sign!
You must make plans now to visit the Mouse and friends before something else wild happens. ;)

Well, my drama for this week is I can't find airline tickets for a decent price (all right decent to me)

My mom said she's willing to pay anywhere between $350 and $700 A PIECE for our tickets....oh my goodness I about passed out when I read that.
So I will be talking with her tomorrow and getting my tickets purchased.

I will be at the DC DDA Meet!!

WHOO HOO!!!!:Pinkbounc

I just finished Julia's teacher gifts and I can't even begin to tell you how pleased I am with them!!!

This is the keychain blocks that we made - I actually did these after she went to bed - I bought the little blocks for $2.99 (30 of them) then I used a sharpie to outline them and add the letters - then I drilled a hole in them and put a leather like string through them - it was $2 and then the key rings - they were about 25 for $2 - so my total cost was $7 for these

Then I made these aprons -I used dark transfer paper for the crayon and blocks - the aprons were $14 for 3 - but I used my Michaels 50% off so they were $7 - I bought the other two seperately and they were $5 each - I splurged on the flower and butterfly appliques and they cost $11 and those are of course - Julia's handprints - so the aprons cost me $28 to make 5 - but I could have cut the cost by $11 and not used the appliques

but since I only spent $35 on the 5 teacher gifts - I didn't mind splurging!!!

Thanks! Steve didn't think I should put Julia's handprints on it but I love them on there - she will have the same teacher next year so I think she will love seeing them in the aprons next year during craft time! She can compare her handprints to it!!

Steve, you know I luv ya.... but the hand print is so Fab!!!! :woohoo:

I haven't posted much lately but have been dropping by to read so that I don't get too far behind, hopefully after this weekend things will slow down.
But after reading this post I have to share a family story. When my youngest DD was 3 we were visiting at the in-laws and we were sitting around looking at family picttures when my mother-in-law showed my DD a picture of my DH, my oldest DD and myself, I was pregnant in the picture so my MIL told my DD that she was in the picture too, she was in my tummy. My DD's eyes got as big as saucers and she looked at me very nervously and said " What did you do? Eat me? " :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Needless to say she brought down the house!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

He is still running a high fever this morning. I think he vomited because his temp was up, not because it is a stomach bug. As long as he has Motrin and Tylenol he seems better. 5 of the kids in his class are all having the same symptoms, so we're thinking they all caught something the last day of school. I just hope Rees doesn't get it cause we'd have to postpone surgery.
