I hope everyone's Saturday has been productive like mine! We've cleaned the cats room (yes they have their own room!) finished 3 loads of laundry, dishes are washed and put away, back porch is clean, front lawn is mowed, the cement slab has no grass on it now, but does have the patio furniture and umbrella out now, garage is cleaned...i think that's about it! Steaks are thawing for dinner on the grill, potatoes are scrubbed...I'm taking a nap on the porch!

I'm getting lots done. It started last night when I finally got the Pals itineraries done and posted. I also got all the clothes laundry done yesterday. Today, I'm washing sheets & blankets. It is half done. I've sorted all the recycling & returned it. Grocery shopping is done and all put away. I'm off to work on organizing my office & garage. I want to make a trip to Goodwill to drop a bunch of stuff off when I take Becky to the graduation party she is attending this afternoon.

Becky has vacuumed the living room. Because of flylady, the living room, dining room & kitchen is always straightened up every day which is wonderful!!!!!! Makes life so much easier.

Chuck is getting the yard work done. I filled up the gas can for him while I was in town shopping so he doesn't run out before the job is done.

While it is terrible that they have been pulling such stuff with you, I am glad that it's given you the impetus to hand in your notice. I am betting that life will be much more pleasant with that out yuckiness out of the way.

Tia, I agree, I think Becky will be much happier without them calling her at all hours. I know I would be.

It sounds like a well deserved nap. Enjoy.

Tammi - our ceremony came in at just over $2000 for 10 people including limo officiant violinist cake and champagne bouquet and button hole. I think the price may have gone upa little since. Check out the weddings board there's loads of people planning vow renewals over there and they're all very friendly and helpful :goodvibes

Clare -- I am amazed that it was only $2000. I would have thought more than that, so what a pleasant surprise! Now, if I could only convince both DDs that they only want 10 people at their weddings.......

For a change.

No kidding. Can you imagine no rain and warm weather. Woo Hoo. We got a little sprinkle, but it never really started raining. I may actually have to water my outside plants. We have temps in the 80s and humidity.

My rhubarb has finally matured enough so that we have fresh rhubarb. It has been 10 years since I've had rhubarb and I have no idea how I used to prepare it. When I was a kid, we just cooked it and ate it like applesauce. As an adult, I've also made rhubarb pie (but I can't find a recipe in my books). Anyone got any good recipes so I know what to do with it. My mouth is watering for a taste!!!!

Wowzers! I have only managed to make a bigger mess, by having the idea to help Terra make maracas with plates, cups and pasta. Plus all of the paper we got out to color with and then all of her showing off after figuring out how to write her first letter - "T". I guess that means that I had better get myself into the kitchen and washing some dishes. I swear when we move we will have a dishwasher!

I have a dishwasher. His name is Chris :rotfl: :rotfl: Oh yeah, we have an electric dishwasher too, but he says that I don't load it properly. It works for me as he does them.

Is that in US $$??? That's considerably less than I thought it would be. Thanks, Clare!

Chuck would kill me if I ever confirmed or denied such a hunch! He really doesn't mind me talking about anything with my friends - except that!!! Hopefully, he isn't lurking today.

Just in case: Hi honey! I didn't tell!!! It is still our secret!!!

That is funny. Chris had his appointment made before Colby was born. He scheduled it for a month after my due date just in case. If anyone asks if we are having more kids he always replies "She might, but it won't be mine :rotfl: " He doesn't mind talking about it at all. Then again, I'm not sure that any subject is off limits with him. :scratchin

Our cat Riley suffers from that. He has had it for 8 or 9 years now. He was actually almost completely blocked the first time and the vet had to do a procedure to unblock him before the meds were started. We have to feed him special food for cats with urinary issues. We used to buy it through the Vet ($$), but Friskies has a line in our Grocery stores called Special Diet that has worked well for us. They make both dry and canned food. I have noticed that he will now have the same symptoms when he gets stressed, but the Vet says that he is not blocked and won't put him on meds for it. It can be something a simple as taking out a suitcase and he will start peeing in all the closets. I usually notice the smell in each room then he will pee on something white and it is off the the vet for us. I wish you good luck with it. It certainly isn't fun.

:scared1: 9 years! Oh blimey! I have seen some cat food now I come to think of it - I might have to pick some up next time we're out.

I've been worried the last couple of days that I haven't seen him go and kept telling him I needed to see him pee, so today he did - in the corner of the lounge!! I was torn between telling him off and being thankful that his tubes obviously aren't blocked :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm trying to do my part to entertain you all this weekend and to keep us moving along :cool1: We got our camper cleaned again, all the wet camping equipment is dried and put away, I can see the kitchen table, have played football with my boys and have the boys almost packed for Grammy's. I've even done some laundry. I guess we are all being productive here and in Real Life :thumbsup2 I'll be back around 10 PM if anyone is still up.

Deb, I've been meaning to ask you, as we were talking about this when we were at Beaches n Cream....did Chris actually eat the whole Kitchen Sink?

It's frustrating isn't it :scared1: I love our pets so much, but I am at wits end. The older dog often Poops inside as I don't think he even knows he is doing it now. Sometimes he does it while he is laying down. I am constantly cleaning the rug. The female now requires pretisone and antibiotics for he immuno dificiency disease (probably for the rest of her life) and the meds make her have to pee and it isn't always outside. She also has a really purple, blood tinged tongue which I am assuming is from the meds so when she licks her face all the time she has blood tinged fur which makes her look mangy. The cat goes through his stressful times and marks everything. I love them, but don't know when I will have to draw the line. My oldest son came to me last night and told me that he thinks it is time to have his dog Tuffy, the older one, put down. He said "Mommy he can't stand up good and almost can't walk" Nick has been his biggest advocate. He cried himself to sleep last night. I just keep praying he goes on his own. I don't want to have to play God. Each time I buy his meds I think well, I'll give him one more month. What to do, What to do?

No, we didn't know about the challenge last time we were there. He only ate 3/4 of it. That is his goal for our next trip. I'm quite sure that he could do it too.

It's been fun, but I've got to get ready for work now. Check in later.

Have a great day! I will be on & off all day. My incentive for working hard is that I get to come check out the DDA on my breaks!!
