Good morning everyone!

Things have been really busy around here and I'm trying to catch up on all of the posts I've missed.

I had a Dr's appt. Tuesday and everything looked good except I failed my glucose screening by 2 points . I have to go back for the 3 hour test early next week. I tested positive with Christopher (but never had any problems from it) so I see lots of finger pricks in my future. The nurse also called me yesterday to tell me I'm anemic but that's an easy fix. The good news is that my blood pressure is holding steady and my Dr. is really pleased with it. I was on partial bedrest with Christopher at 25 weeks and full (partially hospitalized) bedrest at 33 weeks...so I'm encouraged that I might make it this time!! I'm still holding on to my goal of being ready for the baby by June 1st, just in case. If nothing happens I just won't have much to worry about the last few months and can spend them focusing on Christopher :goodvibes

Amy and I must be sharing the clumsy parts of our brains as I fell on Monday. I actually fell over our Kitchen Aid mixer! DH had put it on the floor until I found a new home for it and I forgot it was there, took a step backwards, fell over it and into a big plastic box I was filling up with things to go in the attic. I think it would have been quite funny if anyone had been here to see it. Besides my bruised ego I have a very sore shoulder.

Christopher's last day of school is tomorrow! Tuesday he had his school musical. Each grade sang songs from Broadway and it was so cute!! His end of the year party was yesterday and they wore swimsuits and did lots of water activities. They used funny foam and rags to wash a Yukon, played in the sprinklers, had a space walk, had a zip line (Christopher's favorite and I think Santa will have to bring one to our house this year), lots of outdoor activites, a scavenger hunt for books and lots of other stuff. We're really going to miss this school next year :(. He's supposed to start swim team tonight and he's really excited about it. He's setting swimming goals to get more Zizzlingers!

I have another window open with my catch up posts so I'll be posting to all of you in a minute!

Have a great day!!

PD and prayers that you keep baby inside as long as you can.

Well if your mini meet counts then don't forget that Denise, Julia and I met at Cheesecake Factory last month.

I think we should set a date a year or so from now so everyone has time to fit it in their schedule. I really, really wanted to go on the trip this weekend but I already had my cousin's wedding reception. Of course the wedding was back in Feb on the beach so why all the drama 2 months later for a reception. Oh well.........let's set a date far enough off that everyone can plan for.

I agree if she will. However, I'll throw you to the wolves if she says only World & Land meets count. :lmao: Lindsay & I met at Disney World in March.

I love this idea. I'd like to suggest choosing a time during the value season because then I'd probably be able to make it. I'll have my annual pass for the parks so it would just be my flight, room & food for me. During value season, I can usually get cheap air flights as well.

Nice try lol

Value season would be better for me as well. We are talking next year, right?

When we found out we were both going to be there at the same time, we checked to see if we'd be in parks at the same time. Our schedules didn't match up except for Cirque du Soleil. We found we were going the same night. So then we checked early or late show. Both late show. Then we checked seating arrangements. As if the meet was meant to be, she & her DH were sitting exactly two seats behind my family in the same row & section.

Ooh, Princess Bride is on AMC and I've only missed about 20 minutes.

Princess Bride is the movie of the month. Should be on a couple more times yet!! :teeth:

Jim loves Princess Bride...I think it's his favorite movie!!

DDA Meet Requirements

The following are the official (until the queen gets back and changes it, for I am just the Court Jester:jester: who wants to be the Countess of Color and Fonts princess: ) :)

A DDA LAND or World meet is defined as….
  • When three or more DDA member meet at either Disneyland or WDW outside of a by chance meeting.
  • The three members must be those who post on the DDA thread (children, spouses and significant others do not count as DDA members unless they have a screen name and post regularly)
  • The meet must be discussed and schedule via the DDA thread.

This is the current official definition of a DL or WDW DDA meet.

If we did value we would need to plan for 8/27-10/4.....or.....1/1-2/15. The Aug/Oct might be better since some people may be a little low on cash in Jan/Feb.

edit: I am talking about 2007.....time to plan and save

That would be great for me. Sometime a year or so from now. Time to set some change aside to pay for the trip.

The GI doctor's nurse just called because the Radiologist Report came back. It says the Fundoplication is Incompetent. That means it has failed. He is to call us tomorrow with more information. It also showed that Rees' stomach has rotated to a transverse (lying on its side) position which is very unusual and probably means it is trying to herniate. So, if this is all true, it does look like Rees will be having surgery. I will keep you posted. I told the nurse to have the GI doc call the surgeon so they could discuss treatment. I'll try to be back later.
