Kate - my advice would be to just inform her that if she tells you she doesn't want to do something, fine, don't do it, but you aren't going to beg her. And not to say things with the expectation that you will try to persuade her into something, because she might be really dissappointed.

Ok, I hope this makes sense, because I just went back and reread it and it sounded totally confusing.

Rees is out of surgery in recovery. The surgeon just came to talk to us. He took out the gallbladder with no problems. He also found a twisted piece of bowel that had adhered to the abdominal wall. We. Will get the pathology report on wed. Rees should come home tomorrow. PM went to surgery with Pooh bear and Rees. I'll update later.

Can someone post this on the disability board on my thread for Rees? Thanks.
Denise, that's wonderful. Here's hoping this helps to resolve his digestive problems.

Tammi -

thanks - that sounded great - and made sense!!!

Plus was a lot better than what I had thought about saying - "quit acting like a baby!!!!!" :teeth:

Speaking of matchy girls, today is "twin day" at Nicholas' school. Kids were paired up to dress alike. Nicholas wore his Fantasmic Mickey shirt and I sent Alyssa's matching shirt in so his "twin" could wear it. It should be cute!

does anyone else know girls/women like this and know what I mean?

and any suggestions on how to handle this with Miss J?

I guess I have always thought it was a matter of self esteem when people do this and maybe she is just trying to get my attention b/c I have been working so hard this week -

I have known several women like that, but I can't say that I know why or how to help. I do understand the matchy girls part though. I have been seen in public on several occassions lately dressed identically to Terra. She has been on the save kick and wants the shirt/pants/hair style/etc that I have on as well. Good luck! I hope you find a way to handle it with Julia.

Denise,

So glad to hear the good news. Steffy let me know as soon as it was posted but this is the first time I have had to say how happy I was to hear it all went well. :cheer2: :grouphug:

Denise-

That is such awesome news about Rees's surgery. We'll be waiting with baited breath for answers on Wednesday.

Kate-

My girls each tried the come and get me to bring me back route a couple of times. I told them "I can't right now I am sorry I am busy. Maybe we can do something in a couple of minutes." I am such a bad mom and the second time I told them to go find something to play with and stop bugging me. :teeth:

Good to hear that all went well. :wizard: for the path report on Wed.
