Madelyn update.
Her IV is out she has been on room air for awhile according to my husband. she weighed 1lb 14oz at birth and is now 2lbs 5 oz.

Wow, that's really great news! When was she born again? :wizard: for more of that improvement!

Thank you for all your supportive comments about our house and about Libby too! :goodvibes She's still limping a bit, but she's definitely putting more weight on her paw, so I'm confident I only sprained her a bit. This morning, when the window guy showed up to replace a couple of our screens, she even tried to jump all over him, so she's almost back to her old self.

I did have a bit of a scare today though. I've been having what I self-diagnosed as braxton hicks since Monday, but this afternoon I noticed some blood in my urine. I didn't panic, but poor Kevin dropped everything at work to take me to the doctor, and it wasn't easy to find a babysitter with a half-hour's notice (Alyssa was napping). Luckily, everything seems fine (blood pressure, not dialated, etc.) but the doctor's pretty sure I have a bladder infection. They're running some tests, and I'll probably have another pill to pop by week's end. She also said the braxton hicks are most likely correlated.

I'm so relieved that I'm not on bedrest and that Matthew isn't joining us just yet, but this definitely made me realize we need a plan when it comes to Alyssa's care and maybe I should just go ahead and pack a bag too.

So, that was my day! I'm looking forward to just sitting back and watching American Idol and Lost tonight.

I hope Marti, Paul, Matt, Kristine, Tammi, Kate, Bernadette, and your kiddos have a great weekend!

Here's some :wizard: and :grouphug: for everyone not feeling 100% and lots of prayers to all who requested them too.

Amy :)

P.S. Glynis, I don't believe for a second that you are Donald Duck! You are way too nice!!! Now Dawn and me...well, we're a different story! :rotfl:

Glad everything was ok at the appointment. Keep us posted on the test results, and get some rest! :goodvibes

Yes...I just don't know how someone in the Nat'l Honor Society, can have absolutely NO common sense!!

Oh my mom will be the first to tell anyone, "Jennifer's smart, but the girl has NO common sense". Then she proceeds to tell all sorts of fun embarrassing stories about me ;)

Have fun tomorrow!

Amy, what a rough couple of days. I'm glad the doctor isn't too concerned at this point. Hopefully you'll get the right meds and everything will be under control. We wouldn't want Matthew to make an early appearance, especially since your videographer will be in Florida for a few days ;)

Becky's June & July are very booked as well. School ends on May 31st. She has a leadership conference June 11-15 in Lansing (which means we'll leave on June 10th & return on June 16th). She, Katrina & my mom are heading to Japan from June 18-30. She'll go straight to my mom's from the airport since my sister & her kids will be there through July 4th. Her 18th birthday is July 13th so we have some planning to do for that. Girl Scout Camp is July 16-30. Whooo! I'm exhausted just thinking about her schedule!!!! Hopefully, August she won't end up with anything scheduled for August.
I'll be in Holland MI on June 10th (Bob's sister lives there; I got him tickets to a White Sox game and his brother in law is driving to Chicago with him) and returning back to Ohio on June 11th. I'll pm you my work number, maybe late on the 10th we can meet in Grand Rapids for dinner!

I am zipped - but am working on a few things to add in - I hope to be in bed by midnight - as I have to leave at 6:00 am!!!!

I will miss you all - I am not taking my laptop - so you will have to wait until we get back for trip reports!!

I have read all day but don't have time for individual posts - so know that you are all in my thoughts and I hope you all have a great weekend!!!!

After you posted this, I got to thinking about the "rash" I got while at Disney. It was unbearable when we got home. I just thought I had a rash from the sun. However, after reading the info on chiggers, I think that is what I had. I was miserable for over a week. My legs were rubbed raw because they itched so bad. Duh!!! What an idiot I am not to have realized it was something more than a rash. If it happens again, I'll be prepared to go out and buy some meat tenderizer to try it.

Chiggers are defenitely a southern nuisance!!! The best way to get rid of them is to put clear fingernail polish directly on the bump. Thatdries them up quicker. To help with the itch all I can suggest is benadryl........either pills or spray. They can be miserable.

If you get a chance in Epcot look for Austin and Alex's tile on the Leave a Legacy wall. They are at West 2-C-8-9-11. That picture is from Jan 2002. We are going to have them do another one when we go on our family trip Jan 2007. If you don't get by there that is fine just thought I would let you know in case you are by there.

Ya'll have a great time!!!
