I'm asking for prayers for my neighbor. Her 24 year old daugher passed away on the 14th from a massive stroke. She left a newborn baby boy.

Thanks, Chanon. I really wanted preferred, but they said they were sold out of preferred. I thought perhaps water view would be closer to the food court and the bus stop. Do you think I should now "downgrade" to a standard view or do you think the water view will be closer to everything?

ETA: We might be at least "at" the room more than you might think. We're going at the end of August and thought we'd take pool breaks in the afternoon.

POFQ doesn't sell preferred rooms, I'm suprised they told you they did. I'm almost certain they just have water and standard views.
If being close to the main building is a priority, I'd put that request in there and just ask for a standard room.

Chiggers are easily removed from the skin by taking a hot bath or shower and lathering with soap several times. The bath will kill attached chiggers and others which are not attached. Since symptoms of contact may not appear for several hours, it is not always possible to completely prevent welts caused by chigger bites. Antiseptic should be applied to all welts which do appear. Temporary relief of itching may be achieved with nonprescription local anesthetics available at most drug stores. Studies have shown that meat tenderizer, rubbed into the welt, will alleviate itching.

well the thing is I am not sure when I was exposed. All I know is I started itching on may 6th while we were having a yard sale. 3 of the spots I made them raw. all last week I have been itching all over my right upper leg especially. It is mostly on my legs. my right arm has some as well. it started itching on thur of last week. now the itching has moved to another area.
we dont have any meat tenderizier. I have tried nail polish, hydrocortizone cream, calamine lotion and vicks vapor rub so far.
nothing has really helped. I have started taking 50 mg of Benadryl just to be able to go to sleep and sleep all night.

My really good friend just found out she is having a girl after 4 boys. Can we say EXCITED!!!! She is just over the moon, happy about it. Anyway, I'm throwing her a shower at the end of June, and I want it to be really nice. I need ideas for refreshments, party favors, games that aren't too embarrassing for her, etc. Let me have all your recipes, ideas, etc.
