My niece called me squealing about it!! She is TRULY a Zach Efron FANATIC!! She is mad that I haven't sent her the red folder yet but Julia doesn't want me to!!!

OH - and why is it my children feel a strong desire to clothe Alyssa? We were at Kohl's today and they both started picking out clothes and asking me to buy them for Alyssa!!!

I asked this question on the resorts board, but no one is answering. I found that I will have a few extra dollars for my trip and decided to upgrade from Pop to a moderate. I couldn't decide between POFQ and CBR. I've stayed at both in the past. POFQ was just redone in 2004. My main reason for wanting to upgrade is that the bus stops at the parks are a little closer than the values (especially Pop). I finally chose POFQ since the resort is smaller than CBR and quieter for the most part. I called and got water view. Do you think I chose wisely? What would you have done?

You made a very good choice.
We had a parking lot view.
Only stayed 2 nights & they had it ready @ 11:00 A.M with no extra charge.
Did do quite a bit of a roaming around the resort.
Went up to the 2nd floor to 1 of the water view building.
BEAUTIFUL!!
With the boats passing by.
Enjoy your stay.

I'm asking for prayers for my neighbor. Her 24 year old daugher passed away on the 14th from a massive stroke. She left a newborn baby boy.

So sad to hear.

Definitely! I'm planning on chocolate covered strawberries and grapes, some kind of pink punch (non-alcoholic), veggie and fruit trays, and I want some kind of finger sandwiches too. I'm also planning on getting pink and white M&M's from a specialty shop here.

Any other ideas?

Glynis -- I always get lots of good comments on yogurt parfaits (vanilla yogurt, strawberries, and Grape Nuts) served in baby food jars.

Hi, all. Graduation and the music program were wonderful. Davis got Most Caring, Brantley-Kate got Best Teacher's Helper, and Rees got Most Curious. The IEP meeting went very well too. Got everything we wanted with no problems. He will receive PT, OT, and Speech Therapy. Also will have a Parapro come into his classroom 2 times per day to help him with work.

Oh, and Rees' next tests are on Thursday am at the hospital. I'm sick with bronchitis again, and feeling crummy. So, I'll talk to y'all later. Have a good day!

Good news about graduation and the awards!

And a big that Rees is going to get what he needs...

I have bronchitis too. I'm going to bed real soon.

I do still need the ears (2 pair please), but I'll get the DVDs at downtown disney after the cruise. I didn't even think of doing that, but the ears we need before we leave. Thanks! Do you want money before? I am not sure how much they are, but I can do either way.

Ok all you creative types:

My really good friend just found out she is having a girl after 4 boys. Can we say EXCITED!!!! She is just over the moon, happy about it. Anyway, I'm throwing her a shower at the end of June, and I want it to be really nice. I need ideas for refreshments, party favors, games that aren't too embarrassing for her, etc. Let me have all your recipes, ideas, etc.

Thanks in advance. (Is it totally odd that I come here with my requests instead of asking people right on my own street?)

Okay what I thought was mosquito bites might be chiggers instead. I asked some of the ladies I work with. This is what they think it is. did research on the internet and I agree. now to find a way to get rid of them. any suggestions all I know is they itch like crazy.

Jennifer -- this Texas girl grew up using clear fingernail polish (or a similar product -- Chiggeraide) over the chiggers. I also put on topical Benadryl cream, and have taken oral Benadryl when they get bad. I have also found that if they are on my lower feet, it helps to wear socks.

our TIVO got full and deleted a few things to make room for new stuff -

it deleted High School Musical -

thank goodness it comes out on DVD next Tuesday!!!

Mine was 85% full, so my daughter and I werre cleaning it up. Deleted a ton of Oprahs and Judge Judys. The only thing my granddaughter keep saying was Please don't accidentally delete High School Musical!

I'm telling you, that movie is this generation's Grease.

There will be no waiting for the DVD here!! She called her daddy SOBBING her little heart out - the only way we could calm her down was to remind her that it would be on DVD next week!

Poor Julia! Thank goodness for the DVD next week. Otherwise, I would find it tape it and send it!! I wish I could get the movie off my DVR. It would be in the mail tomorrow!
