Happy Saturday everyone...

We just got back from Dutch Wonderland, an amusement park in Lancaster PA. The girls had so much fun. We went with another couple and their 3yr old DD. The weather was perfect and there was no lines on any of the rides.

I have been skimming over the posts from Thursday night and Friday...

Bear74 Prayer being said for your friends DD.

I have determined that I definetly watch way too much TV. I Tivo everything, I cannot watch TV in real time anymore, and here is a list.

Sun- Cold Case, Desparate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy
Mon-Nothing
Tuesday- NCIS and The Unit
Wednesday- Amazing Race Alias, I tivo the entire season and DH and I have a marathon weekend
Thursday- Survivor, CSI, ER
Fri- Las Vegas, Close to Home
Sat-Nothing
I also do General Hospital, but I go in spurts- if it is terrible then I will not watch it for a while. I had almost a 2 year break the last time I stopped watching.

I don't know if I will get a chance to check in tomorrow. We are doing breakfast with my parents. Dinner with the inlaws, this is a triple celebration- Mother's Day, MIL bday and MIL/FIL anniversary. I like this as it gets it all done in one day. Plus my girlfriend is having a get together at her house so we may stop in there and that is at least an hour drive.
Happy Mother's Day to all my DDA Friends!

Robyn,
Good to hear you enjoyed yourselves at Dutch Wonderland. I was only there once with my youngest quite a few years ago and I know they made a lot of changes since Hershey took over.

My middle name is Ellyn. Can I join the club? Let's not get started on my first name. My parents were very unique with their naming choice, I just have to tell you! :rotfl2:

You can certainly be part of the "Ellen/Elin/Ellyn" Club! My name was supposed to be Ellin but the person who recorded my birth certificate was Swedish and she thought is was supposed to be Elin, so it was spelled that way. I love having a different name, and I LOVE that you are the only Glynis that I know!

Ok. Just to clarify; is there anything different about the DL ears and the WDW ones? If not, and you need them sooner, the May 18 DDA trippers will be at WDW sooner. If you want the DL ones, I would be thrilled to be able to pick them up for you.

There is no build-a-bear store in WDW.

Good Morning DDA!
Im just posting and then will be gone for the day..Going to a DISmeet in Atlantic City...Right now, im being a bum watching The Wedding Date movie with Debra Messing..
Hope you all enjoy your day!
I wish I would have known about this meet as I was supposed to go to Atlantic City today, but didn't go and worked instead because no one wanted to go this way I would have had others to be there with. Yeah well, maybe some other day.

I love unique names, I wish mine was more unique. My parents were going to spell my name Rebequah or Rebekah, but they settled on the typical Rebecca Ann. I wish it was spelled with the "q" as it would have been very unique but alas it was not meant to be.
My great Aunt wanted me to be named Sharlotte Rose, why she wanted me named that I'm not sure, but she never had any kids herself.

I'm heading there June 4, and hopefully will be able to stop in build a bear. We want to get our kids each a Disney outfit for their bears as a "sorry we left without you gift." I can pick up a pair for you if you want.
Is it a regular Build A Bear or is there a special Build A Bear at Disney Land?

My grandmother's name is Mary Louise also. My other grandmother was Mary Harriet, she hated the Harriet but she was named after both of her grandmothers. We decided on Molly as it is the Irish form of Mary as we wanted to keep a family name but I have to be a little different. Emma was named after my great grandmother.

This was our first time. I had no idea Hershey took over. It is geared towards the kids. All 3 girls love the rides. I liked the no waiting in lines.

I am right outside of Baltimore. It took us an 1hr and half to get there yesterday. Where are you? Emma wants to do Hershey soo much, I think we may do it at Christmas time. I have heard it is wonderful up there.

Elin - I've just been mesmerised by your signature - all this time I never realised that Mickey was actually playing that piano... amazing!

Hope y'all are having nice relaxing days and that your kids are pampering you and making you all feel special :flower:

Its a regular build-a-bear, but they sell Mickey ears small enough for your bear. They also have a t-shirt with Mickey on it, and Mickey gloves.
