The only place those discounts are available is World of Disney - so I think you will have to pay full price for them

Well it's official!! No WDW for us this summer. We spent the last month trying to figure out some way to go even for a quick trip but no go...I just cancelled our reservation and will go home and cancel our meal ressie's

Well, I have to say it started off with my favorite as a kid. Elvis was the King!!!! I loved all of his music. It was sad because I didn't recognize some of the dances at the end - I was familiar with ALL the songs.

Ok DDA, I don't usually ask for PD and certainly not for trivial things like the weather, but it is looking like a washout here for Friday and Saturday which is our camping trip for 40 people. I really hope that we get a little sun, ok just not rain would be perfect. I have a campfire scheduled for Friday night complete with each den performing something for the group and of course s'mores. Saturday is packed with a mini golf tournament, orienteering challenge and fishing tournament as well as our group meal, prepared by the Webelos. I could really use all the pixie dust you can spare to pull off a weather miracle for the boys and families. Thank you so much.

It definitely sounds like you & DH need to talk. Don't let him get away with blowing it off. All kids are not as empathetic as others but it is easier if both mom & dad are setting the same expectations & example.

I am sssooo excited! DH will be graduating from the SNCOA (Senior Non Commissioned Officer Academy) 24 May and I am going to the graduation!

After 16 years in myself I finally bought a Mess Dress (formal uniform) and I can’t wait to wear it. Well I hope I get to wear it, I can seem to locate the formal shirt in my size, the clothing sales at my base has it on back order and so does the online shop. I have been in the thrift shop also, but no luck. I hope I find one so I can wear the Mess Dress because (did I say it already) I am sssooooo excited!

Did I tell you all this uniform cost me over $300.00, OMG my pocket book is in great pain!) but with the chunky monkey off my belly I can use this uniform time and time again at formal functions!

Is there anyone you can borrow the shirt from? Seems to me there's some way we can find you that shirt!! I don't have access to any bases anymore but I do know a couple of people who might. Would it help if we went looking here or do you think the shirt is on back order everywhere?

I have been all over the place today like a crazy lady (I now this is not different than normal, but I have been all over town).

Sweet and Spicy Meatballs

1 large bag frozen meatballs
1 large (32 oz.) jar of grape jelly
2 jars Heinz chili sauce

Fill crockpot with meatballs. On stove, over medium heat in a saucepan, mix jelly with the shili sauce until they smooth together. Pour over the meatballs. Heat on high for 3 hours stirring every 30 minutes.

This is kind of like one of my favorite recipes. I love the smokies so much that I think I'll have to try the meatballs.

Smokie Hor Doerves

1 pkg. smokies
brown sugar
1 # bacon (cut each strip into thirds)
1 c chili sauce
1 c grape jelly

Roll smokies in brown sugar. Wrap in bacon. Use toothpicks to hold. Place on cookie sheet. Mix chili sauce & jelly. Pour over smokies. Bake at 350 degrees until bacon looks done - about 20-25 minutes.

Side note: I started cooking the smokies & bacon on the cookie sheet for 10-15 minutes then draining off the fat from the bacon before adding the sauce.
