Skunka just told me it could be as early as two weeks for me to get Matt on the bus. :guilty:

But truthfully, it is a real gift to have a great kid like Matt - so I'm really not complaining.
Now see, I look at this as good news, good news, not bad/good news.

Skunka has a great job and that many less posts I have to read in the morning.:teeth:

So I experienced something new today -

when I walked up my steps today - with the brace on - I think it was the first time I have ever done it with my knee cap in the correct position

It was really hard and a lot of work to do it - it was one of those moments when you realize how wrong something is - b/c you never knew it was out of whack

I honestly don't see how I will ever be able to get my knee to be able to hold it in that position - I was out of exhaused just from the effort it took me to get up the steps

Looks like you might have to rent a Segway for the whole trip, QUEEN GIMP...

I think I missed 1950

And I missed 1951, 1969, 1973, 1978, 1986...

We are slow in our old age, Terry!

Does he start the new job after the WDW trip?

We come home on Monday and he'll start on Wednesday... at least he has a day off in between to catch his breath.

wow....did it hurt doing it the right way? Maybe after wearing the brace for awhile it will correct the muscles that have given way.

That was what I was thinking too, Tammi. Shared brain again...

Ding - Ding - Ding We have a winner!!!

With all the pixie dust -- the DDAers must have been shining - Paul got the job he wanted!!!

But it is more than likely that he will work 5am to 3pm shift -- and that means I'd be getting Matt on the bus. Currently my wonderful husband gets up everyday to get Matt on the bus. But this is a great move for our family. And Paul is pretty psyched!

SKUNKA --

party: party: Congratulations!!! party: party:

My PT told me it actually enables the muscles to stay week b/c the brace will be doing the work -

I think it was just hard b/c the kneecap was in a new position

I look at Nick holding his head though and feel ridiculous for even letting this bother me - he must be so confused and not understand what is going on

1973 - college and wedding. And you are right, Vicki - the other two are kids' birth years.

Are you getting him to take the tylenol?

I guess we weren't keeping track all the way back then. :rotfl: I will have to go look at it!

I have to hold him down - put it in his mouth and tell him he can't get up until he chews it - I wonder how long before he just gives in

BTW, did Glynis go off to her mother's again????

At least he is getting it in his system. Would he do better with liquid?
