Nick woke up - he has been crying about his head again

whenever he starts to cry he holds the top of his nose and tries to blow whatever is bothering him out - but his sinuses have been checked inside and out - this is so damn frustrating!!!!

I wish there were some logical explanation for this

I wonder if it could be a teething problem. It sounds far off, but who knows.:confused3

With all the pixie dust -- the DDAers must have been shining - Paul got the job he wanted!!!

But it is more than likely that he will work 5am to 3pm shift -- and that means I'd be getting Matt on the bus. Currently my wonderful husband gets up everyday to get Matt on the bus. But this is a great move for our family. And Paul is pretty psyched!

Wow, that is really good news. Congratulations to Skunka!

I noticed that when we were on 1966 - the year Steve was born

I was thinking we would all want to post on the pages of the year we were born!!

I think I missed 1950

How do you just take a quick trip to DC when you are in Texas??!! When do you go? That sounds like a nice trip.

It was a working trip, but it was nice to get away, even overnight. I flew to DC, got there in time to spend 25 minutes at the Air and Space before they closed, ran over to Old Ebbett to have crabcakes, back to the hotel for 2 hours of work plus LOST, then meetings the next morning, the ceremony, back on the airplane, to bed at 12:30 then up at 4 and back to work today. My definition of a quick trip!

Congrats Paul!!!!! That is early in the morning but it means all evening together with the family! That would be wonderful to me.

ETA: Marti, you can always go back to sleep after you get Matthew on the bus!!! That shouldn't prevent you from the hen parties!

So I experienced something new today -

when I walked up my steps today - with the brace on - I think it was the first time I have ever done it with my knee cap in the correct position

It was really hard and a lot of work to do it - it was one of those moments when you realize how wrong something is - b/c you never knew it was out of whack

I honestly don't see how I will ever be able to get my knee to be able to hold it in that position - I was out of exhaused just from the effort it took me to get up the steps

Skunka just told me it could be as early as two weeks for me to get Matt on the bus. :guilty:

But truthfully, it is a real gift to have a great kid like Matt - so I'm really not complaining.

See - that's the best part. Paul can be there for after school stuff, evening school related things... he's happiest about that I think.

Oh and he keeps asking - is it May 18th yet??

wow....did it hurt doing it the right way? Maybe after wearing the brace for awhile it will correct the muscles that have given way.
