The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 7

May 18thers -- while talking to my friend the other night I was whining about how I am so used to staying at OKW... I was being a real DVC snob. She's a good friend and I can complain to her. Such a good friend in fact, that we took her and her husband and son with us last October. They had so much fun that they purchased DVC while down there! So I get a phone call yesterday and the machine gets it -- it says "Hi its Nancy... please call Disney right away" and leaves me the DVC phone number. Apparently she spoke to her husband and they are GIVING us points for Friday and Saturday night in a ONE BEDROOM!! So we will stay in Pop on Thursday and then OKW and Friday/Saturday/Sunday. I am still floored that somebody would do that for us -- it is ALOT of points to use, but she said we are worth it. And she said you can't put a price on friendship. I nearly cried!

What about the rest of us???

finally finished with a crazy semester at school. now i have three weeks to decide about a master's degree or not. probably will do it just have to figure out ligistics(sp). have 5 tests to pass this summer(2 are qualifiers). UGH!!! the fall semester i student teach. oh yeah start summer school in 3 weeks. what a FUN summer. oh well thats life. going to try and relax the next 3 weeks at my parents house. dont talk to much. thanks for the grad hat when you get it kate.

If you remember this was the baskets i was trying to get started back in March, but I couldn't get much done until it was blessed by the chick in charge and that didn't happen until April. GGGGGRRRRRR

If she doesn't like them she can just take a bit out of my _________ (you can fill inthe blank with what ever word you'd like.

Holy crap, Paula....those are great! And HUGE! And filled with wonderful stuff!

I can't imagine someone NOT liking them.

I went to the doctor today and am still pretty much in limbo

good news: they can not see any real damage to my knee from the mri

bad news: this means surgery is not a guaranteed solution

he wants to give me a few more weeks with PT at home before he makes the decision - so he gave me a lovely and stylish knee brace to see and I am going back after disney to see what we are going to do

It seems no one here can get a straight answer.

Sorry Kate...I know you were looking for something more definitive. Better to try with the less invasive and be sure before going under the knife, though. I hope it works.

That is a true friend, indeed, Marti. How nice of them to do that. And I bet that the gift was given for many reasons, all well-deserved.
