Cinder, sorry I don't care for either, there is to much red.

Denise, hope you don't have to do the feeding tube again, poor Rees. :grouphug:

Deb, to heck with them than, as least you and your family will have a good time.

Kate, hope all goes well at the doctors today. :wizard:

:bday: Kevin :cake:

I never got to post on page 1967

Hey guys... I need your opinion. Here is another Family shirt design I am playing with. Which one do you like better- the red or the green?

They are both great! I like the green better because I think it makes Mickey Pop out better!

thanks for the congrats to the boys. I was so proud of them. Only 1 other child got the yellow stripe out of 12 kids.

WTG Figs! What an accomplishment!

Very nice designs! I like the one in green best :goodvibes

Drive by posting...

Guess what I just signed for??? A DHL envelope... with a picture of Mickey Mouse on... and inside were my MVMCP tickets!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Wow! How quick is that?? I ordered them on Saturday and DHL actually tried to deliver them on Wednesday but I wasn't home and had to arrange to have them redelivered to me at work! Florida to Bristol in 3 days for $1.50! Blimey - posting things within England can take longer than that and cost more!

Anyway - I'm so excited and had to tell someone... :cheer2: :cheer2:

gotta go back to work now :)

Ok, I have to find a bunch of things to say so that I can make sure that I quote Kate, Amy & Dawn on page 1972 (which is still several posts off). So here goes,

Paula, I found the cutest product today that could help you in your addiction of liking to stick things to other people. First off, there are no staples involved. Second, Mickey & Minnie are involved which makes it even sweeter. I haven't gotten a picture of it yet but it is:

Disney Decorative Tape - with Minnie/Mickey on the tape - it also says it is photo safe.

It is so adorable!!!

Warning! Not to be used to mount posters on anything with hair or fur!!! :lmao:

ETA: several people posted while I was typing my message so you don't have to hear any more random thoughts from me - at least for now!!!! :lmao:

when the doctor was checking Nick for the sedative yesterday - she detected an irregular heartbeat - she wasn't overly concerned but told me to make sure I followed up with my pediatrician - so I talked to her tonight and she said once Nick is all better - I have to take him for an EKG - :guilty:

he grabbed his head like he does when he has a headache tonight and I asked him if his head hurt - his answer was "No medicine, No doctor, me fine!" :rotfl2:

Poor thing! At least the EKG is a simple thing to do if he will lay on the table still enough. I hope his mental recovery from everything is quick. :grouphug:

Are there certain areas that are better to sit in then others? I love theatre (especially musicals) as that was my passion in HS and college. I was a theatre arts major as well as children's psychology. I wanted to either do something in theatre or music therapy with kids. Of course, I dropped out before my last year at college to have kids and never made it back. You should be proud that not only are you raising a lovely family but that you're going back and getting your degree in something you want to do. :goodvibes

I like the section just back of the main walkway and fairly close to the center. The front section is a good view, but you miss the animals in the main walkway. I have heard many like the lower balcony, but I never wanted to carry Terra up the stairs or back down if she needed to leave.

Denise good luck with the teaching job! I do hope that Rees starts feeling better. He has been through so much :wizard:

BTW, I haven't heard about the other pre-school teaching job. I really want it as it's at the church where we are members (where I teach Sunday School and Choir). The minister, head of music, and my co-teacher of my choir class (she' the music teacher for the pre-school) all have said something to the Director of the Pre-school. So PD that I hear something positive soon.

Oh, and an update on Rees. I had a productive talk with the GI Doc today. I think he now realizes why John and I are so concerned. We talked about everything. The big issue is that if it is really bothering Rees, then it IS a problem. He agreed. And Rees has lost 4 pounds in the past 6 weeks. His appetite is down big time we are guessing due to reflux pain. the trouble with re-doing the Fundo is there is only so much stomach available for the surgery. If we do it now, then what happens 5 years from now when symptoms appear again and we have no other solutions? So that's why the doc really doesn't want to do surgery now. Unfortunately, if he keeps losing weight we'll have to take some kind of action. The doctor said we may have to put a feeding tube back in so that we can supplement his calories. So, now we're looking like we may be going down the whole Failure To Thrive/Feeding tube road that we did before. Needless to say, we are so upset. I do understand the doctor's view now much better, and I feel like he heard me. Oh, he wants us to video Rees when/if he has another big reflux episode so he can see exactly how he's reacting. so, that's my update.

Hi all! I just wanted to share where I went this morning, otherwise known as a very proud aunt moment

My nephew is a pitcher for his high school team and just signed to play college baseball (on scholarship) at McNeese State University here in Louisiana. His signing was at the school this morning. He will play next year as a Freshman and his coach told him he thought he'd be there 3 years then be high enough in the draft to go pro. That's a long way away and anything could happen between now and then, but I'm so proud of and excited for him. He's a great kid!!

Here's his picture:

Two birds with one stone. I get to congratulate your nephew on an awesome job and I get to honor Amy's request to quote you on page 1972.

Keep it up! I need all of the enabling I can get to help over ride my guilt this time. Of course, I'm already thinking that if we move to St. Louis we can get a good Southwest fare and start collection Rapid Rewards for a free flight. ;)

Hi everyone,
I have been on & off still can't get caught up.
I have missed a few :bday: so belated to you all that I missed.
I know a few of the little 1's have been  .
Hope all are better now.
All that are going through trying times hang in there.
Better times always around the corner.

We have all seemed to have settled in to our new place.
I took Ramiro out of after school care.
I just pick him up after school & take him home.
Live & work on site so I'm just outside.
He seems to be doing much better.
Even helping me around the apt.
Likes to help with dinner.
It works out better for me also.
I don't have to fight 5:00 traffic to pick him up.
I really think he just grew out of it.
All the kids his age go home (latch key or SAHM).

Well I'm off to go & try to catch up.

I'm glad that Ramiro is doing better. I am sure that being home with you near by is doing great things for his mood right now. Even better to avoid the traffic. :thumbsup2 I am glad to hear you are settling in nicely.

I only have 4 more days of teaching school after tomorrow (and 1 work day!). Can't believe the year is almost over. Kids have 2 weeks left, and then I'll be the mom of Kindergartners. How scary. Tuesday night is the Parents Night at their Elementary School. It's really happening.

:grouphug: for the information on Rees. He's never far from my thoughts.

Also sending PD to you for the job you want.

Seems like bad news around here continues....we got a call that Bill's cousin died. She was only 59. She was a cancer survivor...during Easter she had a terrible head ache...she ended up at the ER. Turns out she had a blood clot. Things were looking up when we left for Vegas...but I guess took a terrible turn and she passed away tonight. I didn't know her very well, nevertheless, I feel very bad for the family. I think I am developing a death complex.

Kristine

Condolences and :grouphug: to Bill's family.

I lied. Random thought coming! My dog is jealous! She keeps laying her head on my laptop so that I can't type. It is the cutest thing when she does it except when I'm trying to work!!!! I guess I should get down to my office and start my day! Have a good day DDA.

I had one of the most tiring, stressful, busy weeks that I can remember in a very long time. It just doesn't seem to improve, but no need dwelling on every little thing that is going on. Just to update you guys, I have not received a single response to the email that I sent out at 9 AM. Not even from the families that were not at the meeting last night and haven't signed up for anything at all. I suspect that they will not reply until late next week if then. Oh well, I'll bring food and wood for my family and we will have an awesome weekend none the less.

Deb

:grouphug: to you. Hoping you have :sunny: this weekend and have a great time!

Yay, there's still room on page 1972 for me to actually post something myself! :teeth:

Thank you Vicki, for kindly honoring (quoting) Kate, Dawn, and me. :thumbsup2

I wish I could remember if anyone else was born in 1972!

Off to fold Alyssa's laundry and wrap a wedding present. I know you are all envious of my "exciting" life! :rotfl:

I hope everyone has a great morning!
Amy :)

Great pictures Amy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN!!!!!!!!!
