So what is the latest and greatest?

How is everyone?

Marci – our yellow rose of Texas….. what new with you?

I'm wilted!!!
Sports....sports....sports...sports...sports....sports....sports..sports....sports.....Sports....sports....sports...sports...sports....sports....sports..sports....sports.....Sports....sports....sports...sports...sports....sports....sports..sports....sports.....

I'm really having a hard time juggling work, the end of school activities and SPORTS games. We've had so much needed rain lately that the make-up games are overlapping regular games between both boys and both sports, plus it seems like all the boys schoolmates have birthday parties to throw in to the mix.

Paula -- your list was just amazing! AND thank you so much for posting cute pictures of your girls. Between the girls and the banter, you always bring a smile to my face.

Thanks for asking, and I hope you and your girls have an amazing weekend!

Now that is one complete post Paula.
I am supposed to walk in the March of Dimes walk on Sat. hopefully my migraines will stay away.

Jennifer -- good luck in the walk. I hope you have great weather and the migraines stay away. :sunny:

I had one yesterday, although I have them in differing degrees, and this one didn't incapacitate me, which is a good thing since I had to take Jake to his soccer practice, his baseball game, and Andrew to his make-up soccer. I was nauseous and had a head that felt like it was going to pound right off, but I could sit there and watch the games, so it could have been much worse!

I know she wasn't

that was all Molly Ringwald

I was just seeing how many really good movies she missed -they don't make good movies like that anymore!!

Now I want to see those movies again. I loved Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club.

Hey DDA some friends of ours need a lot of pixie dust. they were pregant and the wife developed Preeclampsia and had to be delivered on April 28th. Her due date was July 29th. The baby girl weighed jsut over a pound when she was born.

It looks like she will need the prednisone and the antibiotic for the rest of her life to treat the Immuno Deficiancy disease. It is called Pemphigus. The doctor didn't stress that it was life threatening in anyway however the article I just read said that it can be difficult to treat. I have my fingers crossed that the low dose prednisone works well for her.

Deb

Toes and fingers crossed and prayers sent to her! :wizard:

Good night all!! After work tomorrow Terra and I are picking up the rental car for getting to the airport the next morning (makes an early flight so much easier if I can get a good rate). After Phil gets done at his doctor's appointment, I'm hoping to talk Phil into taking me out to dinner for my birthday/Mother's Day before we go. So, in case I don't make it back online tomorrow...I'll talk to you all Wednesday after we get back. Have a great weekend everyone!!!

BTW - Phil had an appointment today with the oncologist and she said that his blood counts all look good. The MRI on his spleen didn't show much change from the one she did over three years ago. So...the good news is that so far everything looks good. His spleen still has overactive issues which could lead to problems later, but there are no signs of lymphoma or other nasty words like that right now. The oncologist doesn't feel the need to see him for another year when she wants to retest everything so that sounds like a good sign too.

The only thing of concern is that some of his other blood work is a little funky. For example, despite taking Vitamin D supplements, his Vit D levels are low. So, the next stop will be an endocronologist to see what's up there. The leaning is hyperparathyroid, but I have no idea what that means so I'm just kind of going along with the flow. I guess we'll see in a month or so after that appointment.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. I could tell that Phil felt noticibly psychologically after his appointment so things are defintely looking up.

Sounds like great news for Phil. I hope everything continues looking up for him! :sunny: Here's some PD that it does, and that you and Terra have a great trip! :wizard:

Good morning. Just got back from eating muffins at school. Off to work now. I hope everyone has a great day!

I'm heading to bed, I haven't felt so good today, aweful headache which I think is sinus related and a general achy feeling. Since I don't have time to be sick I'm sure that I will be 100% tomorrow (or I'll hunt down so meds to get me there). I will try to check in before we leave, but may not have a chance to check in until after work Sunday night. I was hoping to find out if Pal Mickey made it to Denise in one piece, but she has disappeared so I guess I won't know tonight. Oh Well.

Deb

Many prayers for a fun weekend, with decent weather and that you aren't sick. :sunny: :wizard:

You mean there is something to do other than watch TV and DIS? :confused3 :teeth:

I used to stay up late and watch Dobie Gillis when I was a teenager, try explaining a cruch on a 50's tv star to all of your 80's friends.

I did too!! I miss when TVLand and Nick at Nite actually had good shows on. :sad2: (Well, some of the shows they have are good, but I wish they hadn't gotten completely rid of the classics.)

There's a study for you:

Did you like Bo or Luke and is your DH a blond or brunette?

Then, Luke. Now, Bo. DH, brunette.

Good Morning!! It is a beautiful foggy day here in Boston-town. I am on the 6th floor and can only half see the building across the street as the fog is so thick even this low. Hopefully, things clear up enough in the morning not to delay our flight since we don't have very long to see DSis tomorrow.

Alrighty, I am off to get everything on board for me to be gone a couple of days. After that, I've got to figure out where I want to go for an early birthday dinner tonight! I actually get DH to eat in a restaurant with me. Of course, I'll probably have to promise that this covers our anniversary on the 19th as well, but I can do that.

Have a great day and weekend everyone!

Take a load off for a while, and plan that trip!

To much still in the air.
How can I book air fare.
I don't even know where I will be living.
I also would like to buy a small 2 bedroom, 2 bath.
Condo or a townehouse.
So I don't want to spend a lot of money.
I also need the money to move.
Even though I can put the move on my taxes.
I have to pay it out 1st.

I would have loved to join you all next week.
Anyway you all have a great time.
Kate take it easy on that knee.
