I have a prayer request for a friend of mine. Kristin Branan has been battling cancer for 6 years now. 1st it was breast cancer and then cancer in the bones in her back. She was still going once a week for chemo for the 2 spots in her back. They actually put a direct port into her arm to make it easier for each visit. Well about a month ago she start having dizzy spells and they scanned her brain and found 4 lesions on her brain. They started agressive daily radiation about two weeks ago. She only has 3 more treatments and then she will wait 2 weeks for another scan to see if there has been any change. Her and her husband are a sweet, sweet couple and have a daughter who is in 5th grade and a son who is in 1st grade. Please, please put Kristin and her family on your prayer list.

Thanks all for making me feel welcome again. I sure have missed talking and just reading along to the post. Hope I can keep up a little better but until all of these boxes have been gone through and probably until we have the yardsale I will be very busy.

I am doing my office in Disney. Remember I am a transcriptionist and have to really have a home office. I can't wait to get it all together and post pictures.

I bought a print of the WDW castle when I was there and am getting it framed. I am so excited. I just know it will look wonderful. As you can tell I am more excited about doing my DISNEY office than the rest of my house. LOL

I can't wait to see pictures! I keep running ideas through my head for our new house (if we ever get in it!) and LOVE any Disney ideas!

Hey all! I have not posted in like forever and I guess I was not missed but any way we finally got moved. I am slowly unpacking boxes. We started planning this move three years ago and started packing things then to sell our house so I have things I have not seen in three years. I have four stacks - 1 keep, 2 store, 3 yardsale, and 4 e-bay. I really am getting rid of a lot of stuff. Yay for me.

As fast as you all post I could not possibly go back and read all. I have however skimmed over pages several times over the past few weeks.

Hope everyone is doing okay. As for my knee, I got a shot in it in April and it is sooo much better. They did schedule me for surgery on June 1 but I may cancel as it rarely hurts me at all now.

I will still be very busy so probably will not be able to keep up but just wanted to drop in and say hi!

Good to see you!! You were definitely missed! However, since moving is an approved and pre-authorized absence we understood. It's those unexcused absences that get us worked up.

Congratulations on finally getting moved and settled. Even more so on the purging of the excess stuff. I really need to do that too. Hopefully this summer I'll make some progress on my two stuffed closets.

I'm glad that the shot has helped your knee. Hopefully, you got the shot late enough so that DH had to do all of the hart work on the move. Don't be too quick to cancel your surgery though. I hate to think that the treatment will wear off and leave you with more pain than you started with. Good luck either way though!

Hope we'll see you more as you get settled it!!

I love one on one time with my kids!!

A little back story:

We have a pair of geese that for the past 3 years have nested on the roof of the sanctuary where I work. The daddy goose has gotten very nonchalant and passive in his dealings with all of the people who are in and out of our building each day.

So anyway this morning Abi and I were watching the Daddy play, drink, lay in a puddle in the parking lot and I said, "I bet he went to the other goose, "Martha couldn't you have picked a lake front to nest?" "So many places around here and you choose a roof!"

Abi looked at me funny and asked if I had named the geese and I said just now for Martha. She said that one needs a name and after a bit we now have Martha and Matthew nesting on church grounds. The word has gotten around and we have peacocks and peahens also looking for nesting spots on the grounds.

Ok gals. Molly decided today that she was going to climb out of her crib at naptime. We have a toddler bed but also an extra twin bed. Should I move her to one of those or keep her in the crib a little longer. I am concerned about this transition as Molly has only slept in her bassinet/crib. She has never slept in our bed and freaks out when you put her in a bed. She started sleeping through the night at 3 weeks and only woke up when she had an ear infection. Once she got tubes that stopped. On the other hand, I don't want her to keep climbing out and possibly getting hurt. What can I do to make this easy on all of us.

Emma climbed out of her crib at 14 months and went into a toddler bed but it was 3 years later that we finally got her to sleep in the bed in her room. I can't do that again. It was horrible.

Any suggestions?

Colby started climbing out of his crib and opening door knobs in the same week. We moved him to a toddler bed in his room and put a safety gate on his door to keep him safely in his room. I have a baby monitor in there so I can hear him. A couple of times he climbed out of bed and fell back asleep on his floor, but easily transitioned.

Since you all were such a big help with listening to me after Alyssa died, i wanted to share a couple of pictures of her with you ...

This is the last day that we saw her...We were laying down watching Toy Story 2...That is my brother with her

She even got up to play air hockey for about 3 minutes at a time

Also, if you go to www.kride.com --her picture is on the front page..This is her horse that she got a few months ago and she LOVED this picture...

ALthough we couldnt go to the funeral, were going to go to massachusetts for the kride...my brother is going to ride in it and her family invited us to stay with them..it will be great to see them!
