Tammi --- thanks for stopping in! I hope your week passes by smoothly, and May 18th gets here before you know it! :wizard:

Here's the bag from the DS line I was mentioning :) I didn't buy any of the clothes, but they are worth checking out -- especially for little ones!

That sounds like a great idea!! I think I'll have one!

But seriously the board is so slow that I'm going downstairs - I can't take how slow it is!

And EllenBenny - if you are around - I finished hemming all the beige things, and now I'm stuck!!! I got the grey thread in, but I keep screwing up the bobbin. I read the darn book sixteen times and I can't figure it out!! So close, yet so far.

Oh no, sorry I wasn't there for you last night. I can try to talk you through it on the phone if you are still having trouble.

Ok gals. Molly decided today that she was going to climb out of her crib at naptime. We have a toddler bed but also an extra twin bed. Should I move her to one of those or keep her in the crib a little longer. I am concerned about this transition as Molly has only slept in her bassinet/crib. She has never slept in our bed and freaks out when you put her in a bed. She started sleeping through the night at 3 weeks and only woke up when she had an ear infection. Once she got tubes that stopped. On the other hand, I don't want her to keep climbing out and possibly getting hurt. What can I do to make this easy on all of us.

Emma climbed out of her crib at 14 months and went into a toddler bed but it was 3 years later that we finally got her to sleep in the bed in her room. I can't do that again. It was horrible.

Any suggestions?

I'm a little confused. Is the toddler bed in your room? If so, try putting it in the room where her crib is. She may just climb from the crib into the toddler bed. I wouldn't suggest putting her into a twin right now as she's probably a bit on the small side for that. The toddler bed will have her crib mattress, so you can keep the look of the bed pretty similar for familiarity.

Good luck. It's tough when they start climbing.

I just wanted to let you all know that Tammi will not be around a lot this week as she has a tough week ahead of her at work. She really could use your prayers to support her this week.

No problem. Is there anything else we can do for her?

Prayers are all we can do at this point - and I know that she greatly appreciates and needs them.

ALthough we couldnt go to the funeral, were going to go to massachusetts for the kride...my brother is going to ride in it and her family invited us to stay with them..it will be great to see them!

Thanks for ALL your support

Thanks for sharing these pictures with us. She was a beautiful girl, and I know that she is still more beautiful now. I'm positive that she appreciated all the love and friendship that you and your family showed her! You are a very special young lady!

Thanks for sharing the pictures, Jen! She was a very beautiful girl and looked like she was happily living her life to the fullest. What a blessing to have known her. Best of luck to your brother on the ride. If Amherst weren't so far with no car, we'd come out to lend our support. Know we are thinking of you though! :grouphug:

Hi! I'm checking in quickly to give you all an update on my ultrasound, since Kevin is busy giving Alyssa a bath. :)

Everything looks great. My placenta has moved up, so a c-section isn't mandatory. Matthew wasn't very active, even when she moved the table into a 45 degree angle with me digging my feet in so I didn't slip off and fall on my head! Everything about him looked perfect, and he weighs a little over 3 pounds (yet, I've gained much more than that!).

My doctor said that if I'm 2 centimeters dialated in my 39th week, that we could schedule an induction. Not only could we make arrangements for Alyssa's care, but this would be helpful to all my family that has to drive four hours.

Now if we could only sell our house...we still haven't had a single bite! Grrrr, I despise things out of my control. Kevin and I have our meeting to set up our bridge loan next Friday and then we close on our new house on May 25th. We're going to have another open house a week from Sunday. Boy, are we going to have a busy summer!

Amy :)

You are just realizing this now! :confused3 Now you know why Theresa kept complaining about all the pm's from me. I'm sure I also contributed to Deb's mailbox getting so full!!! :rotfl:

I have another tee of each color ordered for each of the travelin' pals. I'll send them off to the pals when I receive them (hopefully in a day or two). I'm also still waiting for the white tees.

I hope you enjoy him as much as I did getting him ready to go!

Congratulations on a wonderful ultrasound. I'm so glad that the placenta is cooperating! Scheduling an induction really would be helpful, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I wish that I could help you out with the house, but I don't know anyone moving to your area. I'll just send lots of :wizard: that you start getting nibbles at your open house. Good luck. How exciting to be moving into a new house! Very cool!

Tammi, sending some prayers and :wizard: to you for your stressful work week.

Hi Delinda!

Jennifer (Blue Eyes), I'm sure you are still hurting so much. Thanks for posting those pictures of Alyssa.

Lynn, your friend is added to our prayer list!

Jennifer (Tink2020), you're an enabler too...I was just at the DS last week and they didn't have that new line out yet. That explains why most of the store was on clearance though!

Glynis, please post your play doh recipe when you have a chance.

Okay, things are sounding a little crazy upstairs...I'll try to stop by later, but it is American Idol and Lost night!!!

Amy :)

Hi, all. Kids had a great day at 'Art in the Park' (their field day which was all arts and crafts). They made sand art, tie dye shirts, hermit crabs out of large pasta shells, sun visors, flower lei necklaces, clay butterflies, and tornado bottles. They had a pizza party too. The weather held off (it's raining now with storms coming tonight), so it was cool even. Found out one of their good friends from school will be going to K at their school next fall. They are very excited.

Tammi, sending some prayers and :wizard: to you. Just think, you'll be in WDW a week from Friday!

Delinda, glad the move went well and your knee is feeling better. Hope you're ok with the bad storms that hit B'ham last night and today.

Jennifer (Blue Eyes), I'm very sorry about your friend. She was beautiful. How old was Alyssa?

Lynn, I'll be praying for your friend. I'll add her to the prayers list at church.

Jennifer (Tink2020), love your new bag. Post the other pics when you have a chance.

Amy, glad the US went well and the placenta has moved up. Good news!

Hi to the rest of the DDA. Hope everyone is well!

Thanks for sharing Jen :grouphug:

Hey all! I have not posted in like forever and I guess I was not missed but any way we finally got moved. I am slowly unpacking boxes. We started planning this move three years ago and started packing things then to sell our house so I have things I have not seen in three years. I have four stacks - 1 keep, 2 store, 3 yardsale, and 4 e-bay. I really am getting rid of a lot of stuff. Yay for me.

As fast as you all post I could not possibly go back and read all. I have however skimmed over pages several times over the past few weeks.

Hope everyone is doing okay. As for my knee, I got a shot in it in April and it is sooo much better. They did schedule me for surgery on June 1 but I may cancel as it rarely hurts me at all now.

I will still be very busy so probably will not be able to keep up but just wanted to drop in and say hi!

   I had to pass up about 300 pages. I just couldn't do it. I'm glad your leg is doing better and three cheers for the new home!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
