I was trying to get caught up on my shows.

Did anyone else think Kat walked into tonight's competition with a big disadvantage being the only female on Elvis night?

Amy :)

YES!! I told Craig the same thing last night.

Good morning everyone! I have today off, so maybe I can get caught up :Pinkbounc

My youngest ds Riley has had a rough week, a fat lip from baseball, a swollen & bruised knee from baseball, & a jammed swollen finger from basketball  He wants to play football this year, I am almost scared to think what might happen to him!
Oh no! I hope he's on the mend soon!

Yeah Marti! :cheer2:

Can you keep an eye on the southwest Ding fares?

That is what I am hoping for!! My DH thinks I am nuts wanting to meet people from over the internet. I keep telling him that there is nothing to worry about and he just :rolleyes2.

On a similar note, what is the agenda for the DC meet?

GOOD MOTNING!!!!

How is everyone today?!?

Denise: I hope Rees had a good night

Amy: Good luck on the ultrasound

Dawn: they seriously messed up your drugs if you were out that long!! I was never out - just got the oral stuff!! Definately ask your doctor about that!!

Tia: I had NO idea that the Splash at DL had seperate seats - hmmm...I might need to investigate all the little things like that for my trip in October - Pauls - you can come visit me at DL in October - I am giving you TONS of notice!!

Deb: you might want to remember when you go to meet Tia - that she DOES NOT look like Aurora!! :lmao: cause that's who'd I be looking for!!

Steffy - I am so glad that your sister is going with you!! I know you will have a blast!

Yeah, the seating is individual seats front to back. Here's a pic:
Splash20Mountain.jpg

At 3yo and her first time riding, that's not what I would want. Of course, she can do the Matterhorn and is basically sitting in my lap on that one so she is very excited about that.

And thanks for the reminder to Deb. Definitely not Aurora. Of course, since I always picutre Deb as Meg with the long dark hair, I'll have some remembering to do too! I think we may have to rely on Terra and Colby to find each other.

I have no doubt they gave me too much. My blood pressure dropped after he gave me the morphine before delivery and they had to drop the head of the table. Then I started vomiting in recovery and they gave me more meds. I plan for this one to be very different.

OMG I do that too, and I'm pretty sure I've seen Tia's picture! Of course seeing your picture didn't change the way I had you pictured :lmao:

They shouldn't give you morphine before - the only thing they gave me was the numbing medicine in the back and a spinal block - was it an emergency c-section - if so - a planned c-section is so much easier!! Actually - I think they might have given me phenergan before to help combat nausea - ask if she can do this

Hey - I permed my hair for you - remember!!!!!

That confirms it...I am never changing my signature picture! I could certainly live with being thought of as Aurora.

we are all planning on being in DC July 15-16

there have been no plans specifically made - Tammi and Elin are in charge of that since it is there stomping grounds - we have been lookig for a hotel and I think we found one but I can't remember which one right now!

I have my ticket already so I know I will be there - the list seems to be growing as to who will be there - we would love to meet you!!!

Sorry about your leg :wizard: I love the onesies, great job!

Are anyone's kids coming? I can't get away without Terra so would have to have her along. A good friend of mine lives in the area so if there aren't any other kids coming maybe we could just meet up with you for lunch or something.

Thanks again for all the weather well wishes. The forcast this morning says only a 20% chance of rain now for Friday and Saturday and only a 10% chance on Sunday. The power of the DDA is amazing. Which one of you is related to mother nature? ;) I'm really starting to look forward to this trip.

Deb
Yahoo! I'm so glad it appears to be working. More PD for good weather!! :wizard: :wizard:

It was not an emergency c-section. They gave me the inital epidural about 6 hours before the section. Once I got in the OR he added more (he said morhpine--actually I think he called it a longer name that had morphine in it). It felt really cold and I started feeling very out of sorts. I told him and he brought the head of the table down with my feet above my heart and said my blood pressure must have dropped. I asked him what he was giving me because I felt so weird.

In recovery the nurse read the chart and thought the anesthesiologist gave me the anti-nausea medicine, and he thought he wrote it for them to give it to me. I assure you the anesthesiologist felt he had better things to be doing that day  . He was such a jerk!

All of this is why I am asking my Dr. to pull my chart and find out exactly what they gave me and how much. Also since I know I'll be sick after, hopefully they can make sure I get the anti-nausea meds ahead of time. I want him to write specific orders so hopefully I will have a better outcome this time.

I forgot about you perming your hair!!! I actually picture you as you look now :)

I am not sure if anyone is bringing their kids - my DH and I are going to be there for 4 days so we are leaving the kids home - WOO HOO!!! and I am guessig that Saturday night's plans will not be kid-friendly ;) BUT I think during the day we would be doing something that kids could do!!!

Janet -- enjoy your day. I hope Riley has a better day and rest of the week!

Have any of you bought the Disney Princess Zizzlingers? I bought a pack of the princesses yesterday and a pack of the Marvel Super Heroes. I dissolved the princesses a few minutes ago and this could be very addicting! I got #13 Cinderella, #15 Ariel and #8 Belle.

I can't wait for Christopher to do the comic heroes.

Probably woudn't need a hotel, I am about 30-45 minutes away. No kids, I'm guessing right? I most likely would be able to do one day. Sounds like fun!

I figured as much on Saturday night! :thumbsup2 Keep me posted on the plans for the daytime and I'll try to make it. Who knows if Terra takes to Matt and Care then maybe I could sneak out Sat night as well. :smooth:
