Paula, here is the cake recipe:

Strawberry Daiquiri Cake

Cake:
1 package of Supermoist White Cake Mix
3/4 cup water
1 package (0.14 oz) of strawberry Kool-aid mix (powder)
1 tablespoon grated lime peel
3/4 teaspoon rum extract
1 10 oz carton of frozen sliced strawberries, thawed and undrained.
3 eggs

Lime Frosting:
1 tub vanilla frosting (I like the pourable kind best)
2 teaspoons grated lime peel

1. Heat oven to 350. Grease bottom of 13x9 inch pan or line cupcake pan with liners. (will make 24 cupcakes)
2. In large bowl beat all cake ingredients with electic mixer on low for 30 seconds, then beat on medium speed for an additional 2 minutes scraping the bowl occasionally.
3. For cake cook 30-35 minutes. For cupcakes cook 18-25 minutes. Both are done when toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 15 minutes before icing
4. Mix remaining 2 tablespoons of lime peel into icing and stir. It helps to heat the icing for about 20 seconds in the microwave first, and makes it easier to poor or spoon onto the cake.
5. Top with fresh, sliced strawberries.

Note: I put strawberries on the pieces I serve so the left over ones don't go bad. I also keep leftovers of this cake in the fridge, it keeps a lot better.

Thank you ma'am.

ewww!! but the funny thing is Jim saw a cool light saber kit at Costco last week and asked for it for his birthday. :lmao:

I think our DH's would all get along great. They all have or want light sabers.

Tendonitis and acute deteioration, I think that means I'm getting OLD...

I go to PT twice a week and get to see a specialist on May 15th

Just keep up with the PT. DH had the Rotator Cuff surgery and then thought about 6 months later that he tore it again. He keeps telling me that he is getting OLD but I remind him that I am two years behind in age :lmao:

They loved Chris tonight -- but I didn't. God I pray that Pickler is gone. She's too much for me.

And this site is SOOOO SLOW. Normally it is slow for me, but this is ridiculous!

I second that prayer Marti. I only watched the last two....didn't even really like the recaps of any of them!!

Keep it down to a dull roar - I'm going to make a home made Dole Whip for Hunka and I...

Should we be concerned that the Atlanta DDAers were meeting for dinner at 7 and we haven't heard from any of them yet?????

Gotta love the 70's!!

I think I will call my cousin and see if she knows you - or are there a lot of Grizelda's in San Pedro?

It would be nice to be able to tell her if you have any kids or any details about you - maybe you could meet up with her!!! She is very sweet!!!

Hunka, glad to see you on. How many watches do you have?

About 12-15, but since Marti and Matthew bought me a watch 6 years ago I have only worn that one until they bought me a new one last year(both came from WDW)

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!! Congrats!!

Uhhhh! NO!!! :rotfl2:

My boss is the senior pastor and he's uptight on a regular basis but the Business Administrator (the only other person in the office) got a butt chewing from him so neither was in a good mood!

Heidi – dear, I want you to know… I love you and I think you have a watch problem.

:lmao: I was wondering how long it would take for someone to tell me that. :teeth:

And I probably do have a watch problem, I am always on the look out for a new one. :rolleyes1

I hope that she finds him help soon as most failed attempts are followed by another attempt if the problem isn't resolved.

That, and boys tend to be more successful at suicide attempts than girls because they use more drastic measures like guns. Whereas girls use "less painful" measures like pain meds that take longer, which is a good thing because if someone finds the girl in time they can pump her stomach and save her.

Sorry to be graphic. But this boy, and this family, need help NOW! Good for you and Kyle being worried and trying to help.

I have quite a few too - but I don't wear a watch either Kate! Can't stand them on my wrist. So my best friend Rose bought me a Mickey pocket watch and I never used that! Go figure.

And Paula - what's a CSA?? Remember, non military here! Is that a synonym for stapling something to a loved one?? :teeth:
