Someone asked for photos of DBF's and my spring break WDW and DCLx2 trip in late March/early April. Here are a few of us on pirate night. We bought the shirts in St. Augustine, FL last Fourth of July. Berry's is Pirate Dog and mine is Salty Dog (they say that on the front).

Here is Berry:

and here:

Here is me (not my best angle):

P3310134.jpg

And here is a self-photo of us (thank goodness for Berry's super long "monkey arms.")

P3310137.jpg

Also, here are the ribbons we won and the trophy I won in Mr. Toad's Jumping Contest onboard. The contest consists of trying to get your wooden toad across the finish line before your opponent's. My toad was Rosa and his was Pig. Don't ask.

All the other photos are from the boat, which we adore. If we ever win the lotto, we are moving into one of the suites and never moving out.

Very cute. The pirate Mickey ears are neat. My boys would love those. Where did you get those?

Can I add one?

A guy behind us at the Rockies game Saturday asked the girl next to him to hold his nuts!!

I have one also.............I was going to the grocery store and my son-in-law was rambling in the garage. He was trying keep the garage door open so he could pull the lawn mower out.....(the auto-opener is broke) I walked up to him and was watching his difficulty and asked him "are you having problems getting it up"...........OH MY GOSH!!! How embarassing to ask your son-in-law that!!! I turned walked away and never mentioned it to him again.

I of course told my daughter and we both laughed about it.

No kidding! When Chuck sent that to us, we felt TERRIBLE for Blake. He got so stinkin' red :rotfl:

He's a youth pastor though, so hopefully he just took it in stride.

And he DOES still have a job ;)

Ok, so here is the link to the video. Because it's actually a family member's friend, I'm not going to leave it up for more than a day or two. There are other versions posted elsewhere online, but they are poor quality and I really want you all to see this clearly.

It does have a little "crude humor" but the relative who sent it to me is the Dean of Southern Seminary (a baptist seminary) in Kentucky, so it's not really inappropriate, don't worry:) It just uses a word that maybe kids should not hear, so listen/watch cautiously. As a way of warning, the word is just something that refers to a body part that might occasionally be painted blue :rolleyes1 ;) Nothing more harmful than conversations we have around here! :thumbsup2

If you do decide to watch it, be SURE to watch his facial expression after his little goof. It's by far the best moment of the video, but the entire minute or so is definitely worth watching! :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: That was hilarious!!!

This was so funny........I felt so sorry for him after he said it. I could feel my face getting hot for him. Thanks for sharing that.

I would think the youth would realize that he is human and be even more in tune with him. Things like this happen!!!

No kidding! No matter how often I see it, I still feel TERRIBLE when he turns so red. And yet I still laugh like crazy, so it obviously doesn't affect me too much!

I REALLY don't think I would have been laughing if I were in the congregation -- stuff like that makes me SOOOOO uncomfortable for the person who did it!

Vicki, you're right. That was my dad's first reaction -- 'well, at least it's youth and not a senior citizens luncheon or something!' :rotfl:

I had so much catching up to do, but here is my attempt at an all in one post. It's from memory, so I'm really sorry if I leave anyone out.

Elin, glad you're back safely and you look amazing!!

Deb, your cakes and tables looked beautiful! What a wonderful way to honor your parents :goodvibes

Marci, your boys are very handsome and I'm glad to hear good news about Aunt Dot.

Paula, cute kiddos!

Glynis, cute kiddos!

Denise I think you did a good job as your alter ego. I would have NEVER guessed it was you. It was so different from your normal posting style. Lots of :grouphug: and :wizard: for Rees.

Amy, Jen, Julie, Kate it looks like you all had a good time at the cookout.

Baloo :grouphug:

Steffy  congratulations on another milestone!

I'm going to go back and skim to see what I've missed here.

Thanks Denise and everyone for the prayers! I talked to my grandma on Saturday and everything went well. The pain from her back was gone already. She said that she was feeling pretty well, but hadn't expected the surgery effects to be so bad. I think that she expected it to be not much more than a few shots, but it was a little more than that. She did however go home on Saturday. My other grandma said this morning that she visited Meme on Sunday and she was doing fine. She will be back teaching early this week.
:wizard: I hope she continues to improve.

The beginnings to my new poem... I like to call it

ODE TO The DDA!

You're designs are delightful,
You're wording complete,
But at the end of the day....
Do you get any sleep?

Please.... feel free to add to my little rhyme to all the DDA folks!

You all are doing a great job- and it is sooo fun to see pictures of you all!

and Tammi adds to it.

) could be found right here on the DDA.... am I close??

Look pal, my credit card is max’d out for the month. You can add yourself to the “pay us to be called your friends” list next month. :rotfl2:
I might have one or two people who have been paid to the point that now they have reached the maximum payment and HAVE to be my friends now for life. :lmao:

Kate - Check you're PM box...I took the Quiz! (GASP!) Am I still allowed to post on the DDA if I don't pass with a C?!?

I decided to post a Before and During picture of myself to help Denise make up her mind about NutriSystem ;)

Actually, I was cleaning out my pictures and saw the ones from Christmas and was shocked at how different I look now! I do realize that the angle of the second picture is a bit different, but now I know why my friends are suddenly taking notice.
