HELP!

Hey.... hopefully someone can help soon :)

Anyone care to share their experience with crowd levels in the Spring? I went in March but it was like 100 years ago so I don't really remember. Here's what we're looking at (and we have to send this request in ... 2 days ago  )

March - June
- I know that Easter is April 8th, so probably the entire month is out, except maybe the last few days
- June is out, because we honeymooned during that time and it's freakin miserable in the Florida sun :)

- so mostly, what do you think about March and May? And maybe April, if I'm not thinking correctly.

Thanks!

The first week of March is a fantastic time of the year. This was our third year at that time. The crowds are not bad, the weather is nice and we really have a great time. I've always gotten every ADR I wanted, lines are normally no more than 1/2 hour, and one year we didn't use one fast pass.

That's what we were thinking as far as spring break and crowds. I was just looking at the weeks around Easter, because that's when our schools take them (either before or after) but what I'm reading sounds like other areas take them more often in the month of March, regardless of when easter falls.

Tammi -- I was thinking along the same lines at first, that the first part of march should be good because it is before any of the spring breaks around here. But everything I'm reading has the entire month of march as pretty crowded, and it's in Peak Season, which surprised me!. May, and the last half of April are in Regular Season.

I obviously think the heat will be more of an issue in May, but hopefully not unbearable. I'll have to ask you when you all get back from the DDA trip! :goodvibes

Unless things have changed, the 1st week in March was in the regular season. The peak season starts the second week of March because of Spring Breaks. The 1st week of March has never been a problem for us.

Thanks everyone! We narrowed it down to early May, late April, late May and Early March and then looked into a bit a more. I kept hearing GREAT things about all of those times, so we just ranked it as follows:

1) 1st half of May
2) 1st half of March
3) 2nd half of April

.... so now we'll just let the Chief Resdient make our decision! :rotfl:

I keep hearing that early May is consistently great. The other 2 I hear WONDERFUL things about, but then a few terrible things as well (obviously, when it comes to opinions  ). But March includes a trip to Braves Spring Training.......... so that bumped it up! :teeth:

Thanks again!

We were there mid-May two years ago, and during the week the crowds were low. Weekends were very crowded. The flowers at Epcot were beautiful!

Thanks, DDA Family for all your prayers. I just talked to my cousin, and Aunt Dot did well during the surgery. Her artery was 95% blocked. She's in ICU, and we can go in briefly to say hello tonight. If all goes well, she will be home tomorrow night or Sunday. Continued prayers for a full recovery are appreciated!

Y'all are the best!

Rees' tests are next Friday. We have to be at the hospital at 7:30 am. He goes Monday for his pre-op appt with the Anesthesiologist. I don't think I'm going to be around as much the next week or so. I really need some time to try to recharge. I'm having a tough time with all this and I can't take it out on my family. I'll try to pop in and say hi, and I'll keep you updated on Rees.

Hugs to you all.

:grouphug: We'll be thinking about you and Rees and the whole family. Stop in when you are feeling up on it. :grouphug: :wizard:

I went in mid-May right after college so about 8 years ago. Several of the days were really hot, but not as bas as mid-summer. The crowds levels however were great and the Flower and Garden Festival was really neat.

Thanks everyone for your prayers! From what I have heard the procedure is fairly simple, but I think Meme is a little concerned because it just sounds so odd. When the PT said they would inject "concrete", I think that it threw her for a little while. Now, she can't seem to get past that part. She should be back at home and good as new as early as tomorrow so that is good! I just told her that this had to be better and faster than the time she broke both wrists within 4 weeks of each other. Not fun for a woman who lives alone!

Hey, 24,000! How did I do that?!?! I'm never around for a milestone!

YEAH!!!! :cheer2:  :cheer2: (Sorry guys, that's the closest to designing that you get from me! :teeth: )

Congrats on the milestone, Tia!!!!! I think it's great you got it!
