Thank you fora talking to me while I wait for the on-call line to open. I hate this (!*&^#)!*%(#%.
:wizard: I know how hard it is to wait when it concerns our kids. I hope you can talk to a dr. soon that can reassure you. :wizard: :grouphug:

Oh, I love Les Miz! I don't think there's ever been a musical that caters to every possible emotion like that one does! I'm so glad that you are going to see it! You deserve something that will make you feel better!

On a different note, has anyone here read the unabridged book "Les Miserables?" That was my project a couple of years ago. If you haven't read it, don't! Or at least get the abridged version! It just doesn't move along like the musical does!

Enjoy yourself, Kate! I'll keep praying that all goes well with your knee and that you won't need surgery! Let us know!
I read both versions in college. I took a lot of literature classes. I didn't think it was too bad, now Beowolf (sp?) I hated.
How is school going?

We got some awesome news on Grandma Hoo-Hoo. Surgery went well and it's not cancer!! :cool1: We will be going to MT and not WDW this summer. This served as a gentle reminder that WDW will always be there grandparents not so much.

I am a firm believer in prayers and pixie dust and I  the fact I can come here and know that we all encourage each other.
I'm glad to hear things are improving for your grandma.

I just read 36 pages to catch up from last night. My eyes feel like this

:wizard: :wizard: to Kate and Bethie.

Theresa I'm glad that Grandma Hoo Hoo is doing better.

Hello to everyone else, I really did read, but didn't take notes. The new signatures look great.

I have a rough day. I had to get up early to get Colby to an 8:30 dentist appointment. I am not a morning person so my day was off to a poor start. As we were exiting the Dentist (He had a great exam by the way) My mom called to say that she had been diagnoses with Whopping Cough. She began feeling poorly on Saturday and had been progressively getting worse so she went to the doctors yesterday. They told her then that she either had a URI or Whopping Cough, but didn't treat her then, waited for the test results. Well apparently Whopping cough is extremely contagious so my whole immediate family 11 of us are on Z packs. I don't know what they didn't start her yesterday as I'm sure the Z pack would have covered both issues. Her results had to be reported to the State Disease Control office so she was on the phone all afternoon with Doctors, Nurses, state officials and school nurses (she works at a high school). For now they are only treating immediate family, but if anyone that came into contact with her gets a cough they must immediately go on the meds. Since she has been at work at the school and we had their anniversary party (30 people) they had no idea where to draw the line as to who should be treated. So after several hours of waiting to hear from doctors we got our meds called in an all 5 of us have started our course. Tonight we had Cub Scouts and did the second half of our Athlete unit so I got plenty of exercise. I was really disappointed that only one other parent participated tonight as we had 100% participation the first time. 4 parents actually just sat and watched. Oh well, at least today is over and I'm off to bed.

Marti, I got 3 packages in the mail today so I guess I did something productive today :smooth:.

Deb
:wizard: I hope your mom gets to feeling better and that noone else comes down with it.

Did you get any sleep last night? Today?
I hope you all get some sleep soon.
Well, I got to sleep at 4:30 AM and had to get up the kids at 7 to get ready for school. Not sure when we're going to bed tonight. :confused3 I just feel bad for him, he keeps going to the door and going DADA. He is going through separation anxiety so this trip wasn't good timing.
I hope you and your DD get some rest tonight. :wizard:

Tia Illuminations is my favorite as well. I love ending the evening at Epcot watching this. Wish I was there now! I need some of them DVD's :teeth:

They were my best eBay purchase ever! Terra will watch the parades continuously sometimes and we love to watch the various fireworks shows. Of course we can only watch those when it is dark, according to Terra. :goodvibes

Babytrees, glad to hear its not cancer.

m3princes, hope your mom is feeling better soon. :grouphug:

tink2020, congrats

Paula, how is Bethie this morning?

Tia - love your Illuminations memory! Although Wishes is now pretty high up there in my book, I still do love it - the music is what really does it for me - so stirring.

Oh Wishes does it too. And Fantasmic! I have been known to break out singing the Wishes music as Terra and I walk down the street. Yesterday, I got all teary just reading someone else's post about how they get all emotional and start cheering during Fantasmic when the boat comes around the corner. Yup, that's me too!

thank you, she got a BIG burst of energy and is playing right now, I think I will follow her lead for the night. Whatever the girl wants… the girls gets.

Say how long do you think it will take for snail mail to reach you?

Don't know if it helps, but it takes me up to five days to recieve a letter from my MIL in SoCal at our house in Boston.

:wizard: for your Mom. I am glad the finally know what is going on and she is on meds to make things better, but not so glad to hear what it is. I hope that everyone else feels better soon.

Way to go on participating in the Cub Scouts Athlete unit! I can't believe that 4 parents just sat and watched. That's not a very good example for the kids. I would have struggled through it probably, but at least I would have tried.

Tia-thanks for the info. I think we'll be there for the Wiggles. I would really enjoy seeing them.

Oh man, I am so jealous! I love seeing the Wiggles in concert. Unforunately, we always have to go far to do it since their last few visits have been to Worcester and Providence. We took the commuter rail to Worcester and then back to Salem (yes it was a long ride!). Then for Providence, we were taking the train down, but there was an accident or something and the line was shut down for awhile so we had to get to the airport, rent a car and drive down. We barely made it in time for the start though I did get to stop at Cracker Barrel for dinner on the way home so I'm not complaining on that one. I just wish they would do a venue IN Boston next time around.

I think the WDW shows will be so much smaller and more personal that they should be a lot of fun. I just hate to give up MNSSHP to be there for it. Hmmm....I wonder if they'll hit DL for Magical Beginnings as well?!?! We do need to get out there in the fall as well.

Morning everyone! Not much time today to catch up, actually have to go to work! :lmao:

I missed Amazing Race last night, I'm so :furious: !!! Too many other things being Tivo'd at the same time.

I've cleaned the junk room! Girlfriend stopped by and picked up all the junk, I mean garage sale items, for her sale this weekend. Hopefully I'll have about $30 by the time Saturday afternoon rolls around! :thumbsup2: I did throw away alot of things too. I can see the floor!!

I get to pick up my bridesmaid dress tonight! :cheer2: It FINALLY came in to the store. But I still haven't gotten a bill yet...that's wierd. :confused3 Maybe they don't send one because it's 12 months at 0%...

I get to work overtime this Saturday AND get paid milage. (And Bob is working Saturday, which means overtime for him too! :cheer2: First time in 3 weeks for him!) I'm so excited to have cash in my pocket. Is anyone else like me and they use their debit card so much that they never have cash on them? Now that my bank has a points program for anytime that you sign for something, I really never have cash on me...I'd rather get points for the freebies!

All the extra cash is going towards my T-shirt fund for the many T-shirts I still have to make...which is fine, I still have 158 days to go before my trip!

Tia - There is a GG for September 30th confirmed on TGM if you're interested. It looks like the 7th is falling apart.

HELLO NIGHT OWLS and EARLY BIRDS! Have a wonderful day!

Hey all

I am glad you all like your new signatures!!

I got bad news today - I had a follow up with my doctor this afternoon - he said my knee muscles are strengthening but my knee is not responding as it should and he immediately stopped PT - I am going for an MRI in about 20 minutes and he is HOPING that he might be able to surgically correct it -

I don't know what it will mean if he can't

I am walking out the door now and won't know anything until I see him again next Wed. - I could really use some :wizard:

Kate,

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope that the MRI went well. That is a long time to have to wait for results. My prayers and pixie dust for a completely fixed knee soon. :wizard:
