Yes we had a great time. We all ordered two pieces of cheesecake ToGo.

My husband requested the Plain Original Cheesecake and I brought the Strawberry Cheesecake for my daughter. Melissa watched Alex for me since David had to take Austin to his 8pm baseball game. Alex needed to be in bed by 8:30pm since he has CRCT testing at school this week. It made me feel better about going out knowing both of the boys were taken care of.

I can't remember what Julia and Denise brought home??

Lynn

I am glad to hear you all had a good time.
I was hoping to live vicariously through you and your cheesecake. DH and I LOVE cheesecake.

Well, people, it's time for me to hit the hay! I have to give my final presentation in class tomorrow night, but I'm sure I'll check in here before then. I plan to spend most of the day putting the finishing touches on my project, and lecture notes, so don't be concerned if I don't post much.

I hope everyone feels better tomorrow (Bethie, Kate, Ellen and anyone else).

Thanks for the siggy Kate! You're the absolute best!
Good luck tomorrow!!!

Good night Glynis and everyone!

I had to come back to my happy place, the news tonight was so yucky!! We had a bus full of middle schoolers crash into a house, no one with life threatening injuries, thank God, A military funeral and an inquest into a plane crash....all before I turned it off after 3 minutes.

Kate,

I thought of another question you could add to the questionnaire.

If you have a cell phone, do you have a Disney ringtone and if so what?

Oh! I like that question. You all might discover my quasi-obsessive "collection" though, then :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

We got some awesome news on Grandma Hoo-Hoo. Surgery went well and it's not cancer!! :cool1: We will be going to MT and not WDW this summer. This served as a gentle reminder that WDW will always be there grandparents not so much.

I am a firm believer in prayers and pixie dust and I  the fact I can come here and know that we all encourage each other.

That's great news!!! :grouphug:

Ok - "feeling rather saucy" explain the meaning... I assume it means cheeky, game for a laugh?

Over here when you're feeling saucy you're up for some turtle time :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I love the English english.

Good luck on your project and presentation! You'll be great! :wizard:

So.... guess who's COMPLETELY done with Miami nursing?!

It was so nice to go in to the hospital tonight, knowing that I would do my evaluations, etc and come home and sleep in my own bed!!!!! Which is where I'm off to now....

Have a good night! :goodvibes

Paul and Marti -- it was nice having you both around last night. Even if I pooped out early, it was fun catching up!

Kate -- the new signatures are adorable! I will admit though, I did laugh at Paul's comment. I don't think we'll look at it that way for too long ;)

Thanks again for lifting the family I mentioned up in prayer. Turns out the mom would not call that number we provided, because she didn't want him to end up in the hospital. I feel so terrible for her. She is usually very level-headed and keeps the kids first and foremost, but she's truly panicking over this situation. I guess it's hard to balance knowing that not only do you have this one child's safety to worry about, but anything with future implications could harm the other 7 as well :guilty: I wouldn't want to trade places with her for a day....

The (sort of) good news is, she is keeping him home from school today and watching him like a hawk. She has an appointment with a pediatric psychiatrist tomorrow at 9am, so I suppose that's better than just completely putting it off until later.

Thanks again!

Have a great day! :goodvibes

let us know how things go.

Kate,

I absolutely love :lovestruc my new signature it is so awesome. It has me in tears because I love it so much. I come on here after a week away to this, it makes my lousy week seem so much better, now that I have an awesome signature by Kate and I am back on the DDA.

Love the pics, thankyou

So I should be sleeping but unfortunately I cannot, I really should be but I decided perhaps I will try to catch up here if this is even possible.

So the last time I was away from the Disboards this long was when I went on my Disney Cruise and to Walt Disney World. I sure wish I would have been on a Disney Cruise or at Disney World but that is not the case. Before I bore you with my life I want to send well wishes to all of you. BTW: I am back on page 1400 something, so I have tons of catching up to do if that is ever going to happen. Perhaps I will have to cheat and not read everything. Over 300 pages in a week do you ever stop talking. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Sending  and :wizard: to anyone who is having family issues, illness, death in the family or friends, injury, facing surgery or is just plain in a funk and needs some well wishing.

Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, or Happy whatever to anyone who is celebrating a special occasion. If you have just returned from a trip I hope you had a great time. If you are going on a trip have a drink and some fun for me, as I wish it was me.

If you are new to the DDA welcome, we may be a little crazy and off the wall but we sure have a great time and this is the most incredible group of people I have never met, who care so much about each other.

If you have been losing weight congratulations. If you are about to embark on a weight loss journey, I wish you luck. Congratulations to those of you who have gotten the big milestones, I am sure I have missed many.

If you sent me a concerned PM thank you, I greatly appreciate. If I have not responded to a PM you sent me I am sorry.

As for any new recipes I am sure they are all delicious, as well as any new designs being really great. I am sure the turtle talk has continued, as we don’t drop things that easily around here. As well as talk about Crocs and High School musical.

If you are pregnant I hope it is going well. I am sure by now you all know what sex baby Dawn and Angela are having. I am sure lots of great things have happened but I am sure that lots of people still need :grouphug: and :wizard:. Don’t foget to give your friends and families lots of hugs. Until I post again or finally fall asleep have a great night. I have missed spending time on here for my stress relief and boy can I tell.

Now why would I need to post when you always answer all the questions posed to me? :teeth:

Between Kevin's jury trial and City Council meetings, Alyssa and I have only seen him for a few hours over the past couple days. I know he's exhausted, and I am too.

Plus, I've been cleaning like a mad woman trying to get ready for this open house on Sunday. I hope my blood pressure is okay at my doctor's appointment later this afternoon.

You are all in my thoughts and I've been trying to keep up! :goodvibes

Hi Heidi! So nice to see you posting again! I'm very sorry to read about your dad and your mom is in my prayers. And wow, that's a watch collection!

It's great that Tammi and Elin got to meet for coffee and Denise, Lynn, and Julia met at the Cheesecake Factory! I'm definitely in if anyone wants to meet at the Kenwood Cheesecake Factory! :thumbsup2

Jennifer, that woman and her son (and all her other kids) from your church are in my prayers. I lost a very good friend to suicide when I was a junior in high school, and it's still something that haunts me.

I know there are other things I wanted to mention, but I really need to run out to the store for more Magic Erasers! I'll try to post more later.

Oh, and Julie's hanging in there too. She's been busy with Cody and Kyle's First Communion this weekend. Send her a PM and let her know you're thinking of her! :goodvibes

Miss you all,
Amy :)

PD for a good open house and you should slow down and rest.

Theresa this is wonderful news! :cheer2:

Becky-

We have two DDA princesses to look forward to!!

You are right turtle talk continued.

Most of the designs happened with the beautiful signatures Kate made.

We still all seem to have an awful lot of thin (illness, family stress, job stress) going on in our lives.

We have moved on to some Pal Mickey Talk and talk of the Pixie Dust Zone....take a gander over there sometime.

So I'm not sure if Skunka's morning sing along has been happening but I found this and thought of him and his sing alongs. This is more like karaoke in my mind then a sing along but I thought it was pretty neat.
