Tia - I like the Mr Potato Head list idea!!! Mine also includes copies of the park maps from the Passporter...because they have the walking distances and parade routes marked.

triplefigs said:Just got home. The appointment went as both John and I expected. Dr. Meyers agrees Rees is refluxing again. He said best case scenario is that it isn't as severe as it appears to be, and that Rees is just really sensitive to the acid. If that is the case, they will manage him with meds and diet. But, we have to find out just what it going on. So either this Friday or next Friday he will go to the Outpatient GI Lab at the hospital and have an Endoscopy and pH Probe. They will give him an IV and put him to sleep. They'll put a tube with a small camera down his esophagus into the stomach to view the anatomy, check for hernias, and check the status of the Fundo. Then Dr. Meyers will attach an electronic sensor to the inside of his esophagus. The sensor sends data via a wireless device to a gadget Rees will wear on his hip for 48 hours. It will tell the doctor the pH of the acid in his esophagus and show how bad the reflux is. He has to stop all Reflux meds that week and must eat a very acidic diet for the weekend (apple juice, oj, tomato products, etc) to make the stomach acid as bad as possible. It is the only way go get an accurate reading. Last time he had a pH probe was awful. without the meds, he refluxed horribly and was in a lot of pain. I'm hoping this time won't be as bad. After 48hours we take the data box back to the doctor to download and analyze the info. If it shows moderate reflux and the Endoscopy shows anything, then we will go to the Surgeon to repeat the Fundo.
That is all I know at the moment. Please pray it isn't as bad as it appears and Rees can avoid surgery. Thanks for all your support. It means a lot.

I didn't mean that I was upset that you gave me no guidance - I was just letting them know that I just pulled that out of a hat for you and wasn't sure if you would like it -
Most of my requests have little guidance and I sometimes I hit and sometimes I miss!!

I was telling him Dawn called me and how nice it was to talk with her and that even though I knew she had a southern accent it still threw me -
and he said to me
"Just wait until you talk to your friend from England - I bet you don't think about her talking with a British Accent!!"

tmfranlk said:Heck yeah they are! Mine will be chronologocal by the time we leave. I will also print out two copies of our light reservations so that we will have those "filed" under the right day. I also have pages for each park listing the kids meals offered at each counter servoce. This started after a trip with me sister 4 years ago when she really wanted pizza at MK and we couln't find it anywhere. Now if she (or DD) wants something in partucular we consult the list and off we go. My other odd page is my Potato Head parts list. I keep a checklist of what I have/need so that I don't duplicate. Oh yeah, and my envelopes with the money designated for anything needed...each tip, certain souveniers, stroller rentals, etc.
What was the comment earlier about us all being a little mental?![]()
) with the day's plan including all ADR's and their confirms, what parks to go on, which rides (at the suggested times) etc. Of course the pages were all decked out with clip art to match the activity. When I pulled it out at the airport to get our flight info out I thought DH was going to DIE of humiliation!!!!!!!!
