OMG! Bob does the same thing! Whenever I bring the folder out to discuss something he magically disappears!!

Chuck did the same thing the first year but now he asks where it is so he knows what we are doing. He started asking to look at it in January this year and our trip wasn't until the 1st week of March.

Denise -- prayers and hugs to Rees, yourself, and the rest of the figs! I hope this is resolved in the best way possible. Prayers for vision and wisdom for his doctors.

It seems that every time I log on there is either talk of turtles or hoo hoo's. It's no wonder why we have so many beautiful DDA children. It seems our minds are in the gutter (shell) most of the time :rotfl: :rotfl: . If I mention all this talk to my dh he will be logging in more. :rotfl2:

Deb

If I mentioned it to my DH he would think he was gonna get lucky tonight.
But I have a headache!!! :teeth:

Last year I brought a binder. Inside was a page for each day (inside a page protector of course ;) ) with the day's plan including all ADR's and their confirms, what parks to go on, which rides (at the suggested times) etc. Of course the pages were all decked out with clip art to match the activity. When I pulled it out at the airport to get our flight info out I thought DH was going to DIE of humiliation!!!!!!!! :lmao:

Love all this talk of obsessiveness - we all SO fit in with each other!

Last year, DH and I went to WDW for his 30th b-day (actually this time last year! ), and our parents were surprising him by showing up our last couple of days. Well, I prepared and shipped to them these very elaborate binders with maps, packing lists, itineraries, menus from the restaurants we'd be eating at, driving directions from the airport to their resorts, etc. - even a CD of my favorite Disney music to get them in the mood!

Fortunately, they all loved it - but DH was a tad overwhelmed when they each pulled out their copy to show him!

I also have HUGE files on each of our trips currently residing in one of our filing cabinets. DH says we will have to rent a storage unit to accomodate them all if I'm planning on keeping them! :rotfl2:

YEA!!!!!!!!!! Another Sox fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Speaking of being on a roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't Stop Believing!!!

What do you think of Thome this year?! It's great that Konerko is following him in the lineup. He give's Thome an easy run if Konerko hits a HR. But Thome is definately being braver this year! I've never seen him run so fast or steal a base in the 12 years he was in Cleveland!

I just rushed through 10 pages. I think I'm going to miss the milestone that is quickly approaching as dh is looking for some turtle time. I will be back.

That's the beauty of travelling alone! Of course, when Phil went to CA on his own last year he was quite greatful for the manilla folder with a page for each part of his travels along with an envelope for the money needed for that part. The trip involved commuter rail, subway, Greyhound bus, airport shuttle, plane, rental car shuttle, rental car and then the reverse, but thanks to me, he didn't have to think about a single step of the trip. :teeth: I asked him what he thought of my Disney binder now!

Before I go: I forgot to mention that Walmart has their Clearance Cameras for an additional 50% off. I bought a DVD mini recorder for $180. It was originally $470. They had a wide selection too. I'm assuming that they just did the further markdowns. :thumbsup2

There is one in the food court and there is one right off Exit 6 on 400 near Perimeter mall. Or we could splurge and go nicer. There are tons of good places at Perimeter. And John works right next door to it, so I could bring the kids and let you meet them and then he could take them home!

We definately want to meet the kids and I'm sure Adam would love that, he sees there picture on the boards all the time.

Deb - EEEWWWWWW!

Tia - I'm sending emails..you should get 4 seperate ones.

Tink - I think planning is what makes us sane!!

Cinderumbrella - I don't see a Brother Bear yet! (I loved this movie! It had such a good message behind it!)

Kristin - been meaning to tell you that I love your latest designs! I will have to remember which ones I want for our next trip. Thanks for offering them to us DDA'ers. :goodvibes

I wasn't sure who he was when they got him, but DH kept talking him up all winter! All I kept thinking was he better not be another David Wells! So far so good!!!!!!!!!!
