I was on my way to bed and heard the tv on in the living room. Went in and saw my son-in-law was still up preparing dinner.

So I helped him. I think this must be the longest conversation we have EVER had. We laughed and talked. This is good.

I didn't do any cooking. The dishes are stilll his. But I helped shred the cheese for the mac and cheese and I washed the collard greens, which takes a long time. And I washed the pots and dishes. But he cooked.

What fun. He has to sing in the choir at 6:00 am and the 7:30 am and the 10:30 am services. He's going to be a tired puppy. My daughter and granddaughter went to bed around 9:30 because they are going to the 7:30 service. I'm going to 10:30 mass. We are going to be a tired group today, but dinner is going to be wonderful!! :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

And I had a nice bonding session with my Dsil.... Life is good.. :goodvibes :goodvibes
:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

So ends my P3, I'm all caught up now. Christopher was dreaming about monsters and is in our bed sleeping. I'm wide awake, though.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Marti, I expect you to keep up with these things

4 days ;)
One more thing...

I know I'm quoting myself but Marti for some reason I was thinking it was Friday instead of Saturday. So...it would have been 3 days. Now it's 2

Sorry  but that's why I need you to keep up with it because obviously I'm incapable. I'm going to blame that pregnancy brain Amy's always talking about :)

Marti -- these are SO cute! How nice to be able to keep them from year to year. Thanks for taking pictures for us.

Well, I am also caught up :thumbsup2

Today we are headed back to Richmond to spend the day with our DDs. Kristin's Easter matinee performance was canceled and she is alone for the weekend, so I bought everything for dinner. Kathrin is joining us after church and we are cooking in the dorm!

Everyone have a wonderful day with your families. See you tonight.

HAPPY EASTER!

Oh sure - blame me!! But that is so cool - even less time to wait!

The Easter bunny has come and gone - and left a trip to Star Wars weekend for Matt. He's excited! We didn't dare tell him its because of the DDA weekend :rolleyes1

We're having company today - yep, we're cooking. If anybody hears sirens from the fire trucks, have no fear! It's probably just a small stove fire and we'll be fine!

I'll check in later just in case! Happy Easter

The eggs are so cute. I have had one of those curley wurleys before. I have no idea where, but I remember the shape and it was delicious. Thanks for the picture.

Steffy,
I just love times like that. Off to make the Strawberry Daiquiri cupcakes.

Everyone have a good day today.

I'm trying to catch up, 10 pages posted since I went to bed last night at midnight :smooth: I'm reading more "turtle" talk and on Chicken Little (The Easter Bunny brought it to Colby) he pushed the button to cross the road and a turle appears. I certainly wouldn't want that around here. Everytime the ok for turtle to cross would appear I'm sure someone would get ideas :rolleyes2 .

Happy Easter

My Mom is still sick so it looks like I've got to get some extra cooking done :guilty: She is all sad because she hasn't seen the boys since Monday. She usually sees them just about everyday and now she can't spend Easter with them. I just email her some pictures from this morning so hopefully that will cheer he up.

Sorry about your mom, Deb. My mom has been sick with a terrible virus since late Thursday night. We don't dare go over there (not that she'd let me in the door if I tried) so she'll miss Christopher this year too. We're heading to my in-law's house later for boiled shrimp and an egg hunt for Christopher. I thought he'd feel bad that there weren't any more little kids for him to hunt with, but he's happy that he'll have all the eggs for himself.

You can tell how far back by which post I answer!! :rotfl2:

Every time I think I have July figured out another something comes up.
Jim's Grandma passed away on Thursday. She was his spiritual compass growing up. That leaves him one Grandma living...this one is amazing!! I always tell people when I got married I found my soul mate and it wasn't Jim!! It's Grandma Hoo Hoo. We talked to Grandma on Friday and she told us that she will be going in for exploratory cancer surgery...which at her age(81) and condition could prove life threatening. She had called to say that she wanted us to know that she loved us if she didn't make it through the surgery. If she makes it through the surgery we will be heading toward Montana in July to spend time with her.

I have had enough of the awful cancer word this year I don't want anymore!!!

:wizard: and prayers for Grandma Hoo Hoo. I hope that they are able to find what they are looking for (all the better they find nothing!) and are done quickly. It sounds like she is a wonderful woman.

I keep seeing all of the awesome signatures that Kate has created, but I can't think of anything that would describe me. This morning I was thinking about Chris' username which is kitchensinkguy and I could imagine his signature starting with a full kitchensink (from Beaches and Cream of Course, although he does all the dishes here too  ) and finishing with the empty bowl :rotfl: So why is it that I can come up with something for practically everyone else, but not for myself. And by come up with I mean ideas, certainly not the signature. Kate is way more talented than I am.

I'm off to bake a cake and do some more cooking. Catch y'all later.

He's come and gone here too. Christopher is filling up on candy and watching the Teen Titans DVD that he asked the EB for at 9pm last night! Good thing the EB thought ahead ;)

Shhh...don't tell Christopher Matt got a trip to WDW! He asked if we could go this week since he's out of school. He'd be awful mad at the Easter Bunny for not bringing him one!

I wish I could take credit for the strawberry daquiri cake, but I can't. I got it from a fellow DDA'er, but I can't remember who! Come on 'fess up! It's a yummy cake, and we love it! Thanks to whoever you are (and sorry, I can't remember who posted it first!)

Well, I'm off to do Bunny duty. See you all tomorrow!

It was our new poster Shana (duckyfordonald, or something like that).

So...what's the strangest thing your kids found/will find in their Easter baskets this year? Christopher's would have to be a set of 3 lb weights.
