Hello all....

Who wants to adopt my 17 year old...please!!! I am soooo mad at him. He's had his car for only a few weeks...I just found out he got a speeding ticket...20 mph over the speed limit. What bothers me more is that he didn't tell me and borrowed money from friends to pay the ticket. Hello? guess he doesn't realize mothers find out everything! So smart...yet such a dork!

Boys When my brother started driving he came home one snowy night to say he'd ended up in a small ditch as someone had come too fast the other way and run him off the road... a few weeks later his girlfriend confessed he was driving too fast and skidded on some ice... no other car involved

20mph over is pretty fast though - maybe you need to show him some pictures of what he could end up looking like - or the person he hit - if he had a crash.

Sorry to bring you down, but it doesn't get any better. Right now my youngest son at 27 has gotten a few too many. I keep waiting for him to finally get wise that he should just not drive for a while.

KATE and other HS Musical fans -- Zac Efron is supposed to be on Live with Regis and Kelly today.

Another thrill, watching daytime TV as I start to clean....I may even catch some of GH and AMC!

Emma is going to kill me. I totally forgot that Zac was going to be on this morning.

GH is my all time favorite. I am so happy that Robert Scorpio is back.

Maybe that is why I can't keep up, we use Mozilla also. Will have to switch browsers then.

Oh, i just mean for the animation. I only use mozilla (too many viruses, etc with IE) but Photoshop previews in IE. When I made the design, it was timed right but with Mozilla the first 2 numbers are really jumpy.

Unfortunately, I don't think there are any 'tricks' to keeping up with this gang

Ok, I must have missed something.....what's this about a book? I do remember the charts though.

I don't remember the book either - however I was reading in a magazine about print on demand websites - where you don't need a literary agent as they sell your book (if someone buys one they print one) and then pay you a royalty.

Try this site: www.lulu.com which won the gold award in the test even though its a US site - the others are UK sites so probably no good to you.

Ok, you are sounding like my SIL, who is in the Air Force as well. Although from what I get out of your posts is that I would much prefer to be in your company then hers!

She is currently up for reassignment and is going to England. She is all adamant that we come visit her. Yet she refuses to tell DH and I where in England she is being stationed, as it is on a need to know basis, she does stuff with nukes. Now we are to stay at her house which I am positive will be on base, so I have these visions of my family flying over there, being blindfolded and driving around for hours so we are completely clueless as to where we are. She is an engineer, I think electrical, but she has absolutely no common sense.

Thurs. Oct 19 - sleep in, walk over to Epcot for a bit. MNSSHP tonight. My dilemna is where to eat this day. I want to eat around 4 before the party. We did LTT before MVMCP and I could not enjoy it because Alyssa was terrified of the characters, so I think that this would go for CP too. So I was thinking of Kona, but we would have to wear our costumes to dinner and then head to MK. Would this be weird, wearing our costumes to dinner?

For Thursday, I would suggest and early dinner, and I see no problem with Kona. What kind of costumes are you wearing? Is it something you can change into right after dinner, then stash your regular clothes in a locker at the MK entrance? But really, it's not gonna be weird. The weird ones are NOT gonna be dressed up!

It's a town of 6500. We live in the city limits, but are on an acre, surrounded by family. My cousin runs cows on some of the land, so we are close to everything in town (although there isn't much in town....) and have cows, hawks, roadrunners, coyotes, a tank etc. My maiden name is Borders, and I live on Borders Circle. (Grandfather had friends on the city council...so they named our road after him.) I love it when people look at my drivers license, and get a puzzled look on their face. (Since my middle name on their is my maiden name.)

Okay, now I REALLY am going to start cleaning...

I will clarify my earlier posting by saying if ya ain't in the SEC, you're not a Deep South State. But I guess y'all are Southern... at least you'd understand me!

I am south of the Mason Dixon line! My cousins in Massachusetts used to tease me when I was little about my southern accent. However, I don't think it would come close to anybody south of me.

Wow! Can't believe we passed 20,000!!!!!!!!!! Is this the largest thread on the DIS????

I am jumping back between the DDA & the Southwest website..waiting for them to open up late August flights for our trip. I have everything booked, just need air...I want to just get the flights done & then I can relax about the trip until August!

DH says of they are over $200 rt for us 5, then we are driving!

We drove to Disney from NY in 2002 & 2003...and while it can be done with 3 kids I'd rather fly..we'll see.

When in August are you going? We just changed our trip from December to August, the 20th - 26th.

As much as I would love to fly, I love roadtrips. Not to mention I can then take whatever I want!

I am still working on my charts and book - I have the book written - I need to illustrate it and do the boys book - then I need to find a literary agent who will submit it for me - I think it will be a while before I really hear anything since I have to get my butt moving first!!! Maybe I will do that today!
