The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 5

I just found out that our younger DD does not have a performance on Sunday and her room mates are all going home for the weekend. Since she DOES have performances tonight and tomorrow night she cannot come home.

So... DH and I will go to Richmond again Sunday for a family Easter dinner. Most of you already know that I am happily doing NutriSystem and I don't want to splurge too much this weekend.

So... what interesting things could we cook that would be fairly low in calories and healthy and still good and appropriate for Easter dinner???

Vicki - it was not just you - I would post Squirt and Crush designs and everyone would ooh and ahh over them

the worst was when I posted one that was crush and said Grab shell Dude - I am your ticket to DW and Becky asked if I was making the shirt for my dad since he was paying for me to go do the Half marathon - that was truly an EEEWWWWWWW moment for me!!!!

All I can say is EEEWWWWWWW also. :rotfl:

Sure I believe you!! :teeth:

I wrote a story to go along with the chart to help parents reinforce the lessons

Is there anything you can't do? I would kill to be as creative as you, and I think I am pretty creative.

My only suggestion is if you have access to a grill is to get fresh asparagus and coat in a little Olive Oil and sprinkle with Kosher Salt and Pepper. We throw it in a foil pan and grill til tender. I believe it takes about 20-25 min. I imagine you could also do this in the oven as well. It is so delicious.

My girls both love asparagus and we could grill at DD's dorm. They have built in grills in the courtyard area of the apartments. That is a start! Thanks :)

It's Marti & Amy's fault!!!! They got chatty last night and then this morning we were so close to 20000 that some others got chatty as well. Of course, all my posts are just responses so I can't be blamed!!! :lmao:

I am hoping one of your girls had the bad diaper and not you personally!!

Now if it was hunting season in Mississippi, then I'd be right there with them. Yes, I am quite a hunter and have a shotgun to boot! Hunt quail mainly. Couldn't kill bambi or thumper.

That's not a southern thang. I also hunt, well I did before kids when I acutally had time. I own a 30/30 and have my own bow. I am also quite good with a shot gun even though I don't own one. I think I might be a redneck.

These are my ideas for costumes so far:

Me: Mary Poppins or Tweedledee
DH: Bert or Tweedledum
Nicholas: Michael or MadHatter
Alyssa: Jane or Alice

I love them both, but REALLY like the Mary Poppins set. That would be SO cute!
