What does the packaging look like? Are they in a bag or are they in a bakery container? Anybody seen them at Super Target?

They are in a bakery container. Clear Plastic box. I haven't seen them at Target.

I'm back to my Easter questions :)

Does anyone have a cute Easter dessert recipe they want to share? I want something Christopher (5) and I can make together to serve with Easter lunch. I've found some things on Family Fun and Kraft, but nothing I really want to do yet.

I'll share one a mom made for Christopher's Easter party yesterday. I may make these if I don't find something I like better.

She frosted a cupcake with white frosting, then sprinkled pastel decorator's sugar on top. Then she placed a white Peep chick on top. Everyone thought she had bought them because they were so adorable!

I want this, I have the Magic Kingdom one. I don't think I am preordering this one. I preordered the Magic Kingdom one, originally it was supposed to be released in May, I think it came out about a week or two before I left in September to go on DCL and to WDW.

Becky

ooohh I'd forgotten about that book - might order the MK one and pre-order the Epcot one.

Has anyone read this one? Walt Disney's Legends of Imagineering: And the Genesis of the Disney Theme Park

Clare - I was in a relationship once where he told me 3 times that he needed space to figure out if he really loved me -

the third time I told his *** to take a hike - if he truly loved me - he wouldn't need to figure it out!! My head was very strong but my heart was broken - luckily a wonderful man healed it!!

I know this is not ALWAYS the case but I made up my mind then and there I would never be with another man who told me he had to try to figure out whether or not he loved me - either you do or you don't - and to marry me it had better be passionately enough that you have no doubt!!!

okay - I am off my soapbox now -

I completely agree ::nod::

BIL seems ok - I think he's pretty resigned to it being over. Will be pretty wierd for everyone if that is the case but we'll look out for him and make sure he doesn't starve!

And yet another Clare-ism. We say "getting crossed eyes." I love it! :goodvibes

Mothers say it to their children up and down the country... you'll get square eyes if you watch too much tv...

Hi, everyone.

I just talked to the GI doctor. We are going to see him on Tuesday at 12:15pm. He is trying to figure out which test to run on Rees to see the status on his reflux and Fundoplication. Rees has severe anxiety and gets very upset at the hospital. All of the tests require Rees to drink something, which wouldn't work with sedation. So, he's looking into which test would be the least stressful for Rees and give him the information he needs. Everyone agrees that most likely the Fundo has failed and needs repairing. What he worried about is the possibility that the Fundo has also herniated into his chest. The surgeon would need to know that information before proceeding.

They have doubled his reflux meds to get us through the weekend, and if he has another bad episode before his appointment, we are to go to the ER. I am hoping we can schedule whatever test he decides to order for next week. Once we get the results we'll schedule surgery. John and I are estimating that surgery would be in the next 2-3 weeks with a 5-7 day hospital stay and then recovery at home. Rees also needs a tendon release on his foot (from the Cerebral Palsy), so we will contact the Orthopaedic surgeon to see if they can do them both at the same time.

Thank you again for all the prayers, calls, and support. It means so much to us all. And Happy Easter and Passover to all of our DDA friends!

Denise I hope all goes well tomorrow :wizard: Keep up that great attitude :thumbsup2

Speaking of shorts, it is in the 80's today & I am loving it!

Ok, y'all were so right for us not to cancel Sept and keep the Dec too. I'm going to talk with the specialists at their new school tomorrow during Rees' evals about the Sept trip. With everything happening this week, it just shows me how much he goes through and if Sept would be better for crowds, then we'll go then. BK and Davis will be fine missing a week. Honestly, Rees is going to have a hard time with school period. Since he'll have an aide and/or a Resource teacher to help him, I don't know if missing that week will matter. I'll let you know what they say tomorrow at the meeting.

And, truthfully, I really want to try MNSSHP and go when I can wear shorts and swim!

I hope you are able to schedule the surgery soon, and that it hasn't herniated into his chest. Hopefully Rees will have a good weekend and won't require that ER visit :wizard:
Happy Easter to you too!

Hey Clare,

How's your new goal coming?

hmm... remind me which one that was again... :rotfl:

I have three assignments to write in three weeks and I'm scared stiff :scared1:

I must be good and do a little every day to get it done... and not spend hours on the DDA

Can't wait until the middle of May - then I have 4 months to do fun stuff like scrapping and finally printing my 2005 trip photos... and planning a trip for Pal Mickey to come stay.

:cheer2:

I am glad to see that you are getting the info that you need from the docs. They seem to be putting a priority on your situation. Give him an extra hug from me and keep your chin up. :wizard:

ok I'm all caught up - it's 10.15 and way past my bed time even if there is no work tomorrow :Pinkbounc

DH wants us to tile the bathroom... but we'll see what time he drags himself out of bed first

Have a good evening everyone - "see" you all tomorrow.

And here's some :wizard: for Rees

:grouphug:

I am off to get my hair cut and colored. Can't wait to get this gray covered up!!!
