Tell him it is time to come out of hiding and update your signature (since you've already been to the world in March 2006).

Marti & Paul, come out, come out, wherever you are!!! Paul, I'd like a song of the day if you get a chance. You both make me smile! I miss your banter.

Can you tell I'm avoiding getting started this morning? Where is everybody? With no one here, it kind of blows my excuse for not moving! ;) OK, I guess I'm off to get started.

I'm here. I can play for awhile before I start baking cookies.

Ok, I figure I'll ask this question here before posting on the crafting board. Does anyone know how to get hot glue which has dried out of a knit sweater & scarf? On most other things, you can usually just kind of chip it off but that isn't working with these knit objects.

Try fingernail polish remover with acetone. Or plain acetone if you have it. Keep blotting it.

Hey all just wanted to drop in a say hi. I have been very busy and will be very busy for the next month or so. We finally after five months of renting found a house and bought it. Woohooo. I am sooo happy.

I have been so stressed about this as we had to be out of the rental house by May 6. So finally my DH decides on a house and we close on April 20. The house we are getting is one I have been looking at for a couple of years and he just kept saying no.

The house is brand new but just has not sold for whatever reasons. Did I say I am exstatic (sp)?

Besides the house my DS 5 has started acting up at school and we cannot figure out why. This started right after we got back from Disney. He is just in 4K but his teacher thinks it is awful if he tells her he does not want to do something. She said "Her kids never acted like this." I think he is only 5 years old for crying out loud. She thinks he is being sooo disrespectful. Anyway it has been stressful more dealing with her than with my DS5.

I have been following along and Kate I am so glad you do not need surgery for you knee but I DO. Arrrg. I have a torn ligament in my knee and just walking to the mailbox will get it to hurting really bad. I am not going to have the surgery until after we move probably the middle of May.

Anyway if you all don't mind send me some pixie dust that I get through until school is out this year. My DS will be in a diffent school next year, I will finally be able to unpack all of my stuff that has been in storage for over a year now, and my knee pain will be gone.

Sorry so long AND I WANT TO GO TO DISNEY SO BAD!!!

DISNEY TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!

Glynis I hope that your cold doesn't get worse and :wizard: to anyone else with illness.

Deb

Thanks. Whatever pixie dust you sent must have worked, as my cold seems to be all gone. DH, however, is really sick. Sore throat, cold, coughing, fluid in the lungs, etc. Well, as long as I don't catch it, I'm happy. I just keep dosing him with Nyquil. Hopefully, I can get him to the doctor on Monday as he is prone to bronchitis and pneumonia. Time to start him on a Z-pac.

Congratulations on the new house! That is great news. See...it was just waiting for you until DH would finally make a decision. I'm really glad that stress has been removed even if only to be replaced with that of packing and moving. :)

:wizard: for your DS and you through the end of school this year. I think he sounds like a perfectly normal child. Especially, if the things being done in school are boring for him or even the other directions, too difficult. The teacher's additude seems to be a problem too. She should be working with you to work things out, not telling you that her kids never did that. That's crazy. :grouphug: that things improve!

You've missing out on a lot of great phrases over there - I hope you're taking notes :goodvibes

Here in Utah we say, "and then it clicked" for it all fell into place.

Not a bad day. ;) I managed to get mostly caught up on the piling dishes (my worst habit) and actually put the clothes away as soon as I picked them up. Hopefully, by the time I start my new yucky work schedule tomorrow I'll be caught up and ready to go. If ever a "you can do anything for 15 minutes" would be needed it will be now.

You can do it! Sometimes I just have to have entire 15 minute days. You know, 15 minutes of housework, then 15 minutes of DIS time, then 15 minutes of schoolwork, then 15 minutes of DIS time, etc. Sometimes that's the only way I can get through a day.

15 minutes is the perfect amount of time!
