I have talked with them about this already and we are going to think about one for WDW

they told me 4-6 weeks of therapy - we leave for WDW at the end of week 6

so the hope is that it is all better for WDW - if it isn't - I might need a brace and then we will have to discuss other options

Well, hopefully all will be well with the therapy, etc. It's no fun to have knee pain. I'll keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery.

(By the way, I hope you weren't offended by the "enabling" comment. I meant it to be sarcastic, but after I posted, I thought someone might find it offensive. If you did, I'm so sorry!)

I had a huge post typed out and then hit the wrong button -- lost the whole darn thing! But we had the best Easter ever, had some friends here that like Disney as much as we do - so how could it be bad?? Here are a couple of pictures of the tie dye cupcakes. They were so much fun!!

I was going to post nearly the same exact thing -- but I figured you were around to say it.

Not much gets to Kate -- trust me -- she had to deal with Skunka and if she can handle him, she can handle anybody.

Well, Easter is officially over at our house. 4 very happy, sugared-up kids have finally fallen asleep.

Alan and I decided long ago to keep the Easter baskets hidden until after church, so our kids could focus more on the religious aspect of the holiday for the first part of the day. Unfortunately, that means the kids were really antsy to get home after church. Add to that, the fact that Jacob lost his first tooth this morning, and we had one excited little boy! Alan tied a piece of dental floss around the tooth, and gave a yank and out it popped. Too bad that the tooth flew out of the floss and we can't find it! Good thing the Tooth Fairy accepts a note explaining the situation.

At church all the children sang 2 songs that I've been working on with them. The second number was accompanied by hand bells, and it sounded so good! I was so proud of all the kids; they did so well and were so serious about it.

After church we came home, and the kids were able to finally hunt for their baskets. Luckily, the EB didn't hide them in hard to find places, so they were able to find them quickly. They looked through their loot while I pulled the ham out of the oven, and threw the rolls in. 20 minutes later we were eating. Katie proclaimed it the "best Easter meal of my life!" High praise from her as she hates ham.

After dinner, we watched Leslie's new movie, Thumbelina, while the kids colored, and munched on candy. I managed to bag up all the candy from their baskets so I can regulate how much they eat each day.

Tonight, we pieced on deviled eggs, strawberry daquiri cake and watched Narnia. It was a good day! No fighting (that's a huge deal, here, lately), and all kids were thrilled with their baskets!

Marti - I did get pictures taken, and will post them tomorrow! I'm too exhausted tonight!

See you all in the morning!

That's Matt's future wife! (he just doesn't know it yet :teeth: ) She was in Matt's first grade class and is being raised by her grandparents (long story). We've hit it off with them and love hanging around with them. She and Matt act like they are already married - bickering etc. It's really cute!

No kidding!! If my kids knew the Easter bunny brought trips to WDW we would be in BIG trouble too!! They loved all their toys and are watching the new Thomas DVD Nick got - then they will watch Julia's new video

But the Easter Bunny did a really good job of hiding the Easter Eggs and now we can't find two of them - why didn't the easter bunny leave a list?!!?!? :confused3

The Easter Bunny did that at our house too....except we had these premade Willy WOnka boxes that Abi said would be too easy to find and 1 of those is still missing and 3+ eggs(we aren't sure because we all counted and came up with different numbers :rotfl2: )

Sometimes what I think sounds funny in my head doesn't always come across that way! DH is always telling me to think before I type. Guess I should do that more.

So which direction does that take you?

Up :rotfl2: . Sorry I never can think of it....it's just ingrained in our psyche....Denver through WY to Montana. Billings through WY to Denver....twelve years of that monotony you would think my husband would know where to go but at least every other time we end up going a veeeery strange way!!

We will probably end up doing MT one week and Maryland another but I am not sure...it really depends on Hoo Hoo's surgery and what they find.

Most of you who have been on here for a while and especially the past few months will probably remember that my Mom has been steadily declining in health. Well, tonight she died. It was not really unexpected nor sudden, but it hurts, nonetheless. Bob and I were going to PA to visit her and his parents this coming Friday. I guess we will be going sooner now. Please keep my brother in Boston and my sister in Allentown in your thoughts as we all all be traveling at some time this week.

Oh I'm so very, very sorry Elin... There just is no way to prepare yourself. There is nothing like losing your Mom. I'm so, so sorry.. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I know what you mean - I always try to come across as sarcastic (you mean you're surprised by this??) but it doesn't always come across that way.

So I also apologize if I've offended anybody in the past - and the future!! It certainly wasn't intended that way!!

I think that's why I feel like I fit in so well here. We all have so many of the same qualities. Did you ever feel like you didn't fit in anywhere? Well, the DIS (specifically DDA) is the one place that I truly feel like I fit in.
:woohoo:

As long as everyone knows that I'm trying to be a smarty pants, and not cruel, I guess I'm ok.
