I think I payed between 25 & 30$!!! That is nothing to me to have a great tan on vacation!!! In highschool I would go to the tanning beds regularly and I would never get this good of a tan!!!

They told me that they have some people that actually do this on a weekly basis!!!

Yikes! I might need the name of that place. I ADORE Mitchell's and can't believe I'd go anywhere else (if there's anything I'm really picky about it's that!) but that's really a great price!

And a manicure and pedicure!!!!

I have this thing about feet :confused3 no one is allowed to touch mine and DH knows that touching me with his feet is not a good idea!!!

I know...

My entire family tans with no problem at all. DH walks outside for 30 seconds and is a golden brown! I'm just glad there are now options for those of us with these issues.

And there's always that consolation of "think how good your skin will look when you're older"... :p

Yeah... I really struggle with this one! My mom and grandmother both have the BEST skin. But they have stayed pale their whole lives. I tanned in high school and got so used to having that color.... that I often "relapse" and buy another tanning package. You're so right though ... with even Mystic Tan (which I've done and think actually looks pretty good), airbrush tanning, good sunless tanners, maybe we won't all have to get skin cancer!

But I still tend to forget that "when you're older stuff" :rolleyes1

were we sitting on the couch?

she was so mad when it was over b/c no one asked her to sing or dance - "that was not a very good audition mom!!"

Maybe next year they can be in the show!!

I think so, maybe...

My niece is in it this year, she is wearing the cutest outfit. It is the one that is purple and looks like a kimono. My SIL said that the photo shoot was awesome!! I wish they would have said if they were to big or to small so that we knew for next year.

Kate and Julie, if a woman named Courtney approaches you at Alyssa's party, escape as quickly as you can. Unfortunately, she's my SIL, and since my step-brother recently transferred back to Cincinnati, I had to invite them. :sad2:

Amy :)

Sending :wizard: that Alyssa's party goes smoothly and Courtney does not cause too many problems.

Last week I found out a friend all through school passed away. I had lost touch with her but it is still very painful. There were 6 of who ate lunch together everyday in high school and now 2 are gone. The other died years ago when she was hit after getting a flat tire. We will all be 45 this year.

Sending you :grouphug: . It is so hard when you find out someone has died especially when you haven't spoken to them in awhile.

I think if you go on the AG website - they have the measurements listed in there - I knew Julia was too little - but it didn't seem by much so I thought I would give it a shot

normally I wouldn't pay Mitchell's for the tan but if I have the GC - I should go for it - I guess I should make the appointment for a day or two before I leave

okay - this is clearly a woman without kids -

if no one tried to wake me up in the morning - I could go to bed and sleep 13-14 hours straight!!!!

somebody always wants to wake me up though!!

I've NEVER been able to sleep more than 7 hours. Ever. When I was in high school, I worked full time, danced full time, cheered, etc, so I'd come home and do homework from about 1am-3am. Then I'd sleep until about 5:30 or 6:30, and function like that every day. I'm a freak, I guess :confused3 but I get it from my dad :)

Now though, I at least enjoy sleep. But my back hurts if I sleep more than 6 hours, and if I sleep in I feel like my whole day is thrown off. I'm the WORST sleeper, period. So I need all the help I can get :rotfl:

Good gracious I haven't stayed up this late on a work night in forever!!! Unless of course I was reading a good book. It's Spring Break in this house so we went to Target tonight.....and Dillard's....found a dress for Cassidy for Homecoming next fall(yes I know a bit early but wait until you hear the price :teeth: ) for $17 :thumbsup2 We just are on the lookout for a dress/outfit that can work for Easter, Continuation and the 8th grade dance.
But because of the shopping girls fell asleep about half hour ago. I'm working on my third wind I think!! :3dglasses

Do it the day before, if you can. No perfumes or deodarant. Wear loose clothing. Get a soap with moisturizer in it, no harsh soaps. The key to keeping it longer is to keep your skin moisturized. You have to shower and exfolliate night before and you should wait to shower about 10-12 hours, I usually do it in the evening and then shower first thing in the morning.

OK Marti they call me ghost.
Just check-out this leg again.
I never tan, just burn burn. :sunny:

I am sure my leg is currently whiter tham that. I think i am currently the whitest I have ever been in my life. As a child I was always so brown as a child during the summer and it would last quite a while. I look at pictures and can't believe I was that dark. But unfortunately I no longer have the luxury of being out in the sunshine all day during the summer or year round for that matter.
