The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 4

For a few days now, I have been going through all these awesome tutorials on Photoshop.

Please tell me where I can find Photoshop tutorials. I tried using help but didn't know where to begin......

I did make about 45 autograph pages using coloring book images tonight but I had to do it on my old PC. Lizzy really loves them. She wants me to print the images full page so she can color them to give to the characters.

I have a few more images to find and I will print a few blank ones too. I'll take photos after we get back to share them. My old PC isn't hooked up to the net or I'd share a few tonight.

boy am I going to be making a ton of shirts. The kids have all picked out 2-3 each already! They look wonderful. I think they'll look great as shirts, and we all can wear our faves. Can you do some more Christmas ones? Thanks for the villains and heroes. And love the 3 Musketeers. That's the movie they are currently hooked on. You'll have to do the "Car" movie for Davis when it comes out. that's his favorite thing.

Hello all - I'm back from a horrible week. But things are looking up! I returned home from the funeral to a box on my front porch. I got my box of Curley Wurley's from Clare!! I was so excited - I promptly ate two of them. They are just as good as I remember. I was hoping they stunk so I wouldn't want to eat all of them. Who am I kidding? Cadbury chocolate over caramel, what's not to like? I'll post a picture this afternoon... we're heading out. Beautiful sunny day and I don't want to miss any more of the sun. Thanks Clare - I just love them. But I owe you more than you said - PM me the correct total and I'll paypal it immediately. Thanks so much.

Hi, all. Just home from the funeral. It was a tough weekend for everyone. The services were lovely and there were so many people there that the line went out the door and around the building. He was truly loved and will be missed very much. My SIL and brother are doing ok. We stayed with them last night to give them some support. BTW, it was an open casket...

I do not have the energy to go back and read all the pages I've missed, so if anyone can give me a synopsis, I'd appreciate it. Thanks again for all the love, prayers, and good thoughts.

Those are great. Could you do one in more boyish colors with Prince Phillip, Hercules, Prince Eric, and Aladdin?

And maybe one with all villians?

I hope you are not, seriously sick, but I also hope for your sanity at the current time that you are not pregnant. But according to post #10917 on page 728 deep down you truly do wish you had a baby or a kid to worry about.

Well you should definitely stick around! One of your fellow UK DISers will enjoy your company late at night while we are all sleeping and she is catching up! Or when a few of us are up, and looking for someone to keep us company. We'll have 2 people to go looking for!

Hmm.... I can't get them big enough to show the detail (wood frame, etc), and that's half the fun! Oh well. You get the picture!

Hi Rosiejo!!

I'm up in the middle of the night! Printing out the designs to make shirts tomorrow night for our trip on Tues.

Plus doing work. Being up in the middle of the night doing work is nothing new. Usually I'm not on DDA while I'm doing it because I have to focus. But tonight I have WDW/DCL brain and don't want to focus on my work. Must be why it's taking me longer than it should.

Plus, DBF is blaring Jimmy Buffet while he packs and it's a bit hard to focus. (I packed everything but our shirts-to-be-made last night). He is very ready for Pirates in the Caribbean Night. He keeps running in and saying "AAAAARRRRR!!"

Everyone thinks we are crazy for going as often as we do, but I don't care. The kids and I love it there. Dh tolerates it because he knows it makes us happy. I was telling my neighbor yesterday of our DDA trip. She had this look on her face like I was nuts going with 3 women that I have never met. I gave up. Words just can't explain the DDA!

For the past 8 years I have joined 10 other close WDW friends for a Ladies Only Weekend in the WDW. Almost no one I know can understand why I would meet 10 women I only used to talk to online

Luckily, I was able to convert my next door neighbor and she has joined us twice in the past. She and her lucky DH recently bought a place on the west coast of FL and are spending November through May there now. Now, THAT is a dream come true

It has taken me a long time to learn this lesson but "WE ONLY LIVE ONCE!!!" I spent too many years focused on nothing but work. This life only comes around once. It is too short for us to not enjoy every minute that we can.

I feel sorry for those people that you have to explain it too. Some of our best family memories have been these Disney trips and we started way too late with our kids. I'm so happy that most of my DDA friends have started this when their kids are young!

I agree, Vicki -- Our younger DD's first memories are od her first trip to WDW at 21 months. I cannot think of a better set of memories!

I'm glad to hear it's not just me! I want to take DH for his birthday Jun 1 -4, and I even have a hold on a room, but I am reluctant to go because then I have to explain it to people. We go once or twice a year, and people just don't understand. At least I'm lucky because my DH loves it as much as I do.

Just go! Don't let other people's negativity spoil something that you and your DH both love.

Thanks Tammi! Actually if I decide I definitely want to do it, then we won't worry what anyone else thinks! We just have to make up our minds if that is what we want to do, or (gasp!) if we would rather do something else.

At least I know that I can get support for my habits here, even if noone else understands me.
