It was when he started dating her that he kind of went off the deep end!! or at least showed his true colors

I have hard time believing they are really in love - when the first started dating I was like "YOU GO GIRL!" b/c what young girl didn't dream of marrying Tom Cruise - it was like every girls dream come true - but the more I watch the more she seems trapped!!!!

No kidding! He was a little weird before that. Making some REALLLLY dumb comments to tick off half the world. But now he's just even more in the limelight, and I totally agree with you. At first it was adorable and I thought Katie was lucky because -- youre right -- who didn't dream such things

But love? And babies? And actually marrying him as he is now? It gets weirder every day :)

I'm about 5 or 6 hours from O'hare. I know it took us 6 hours once but can't remember if that was in the snowstorm or not. My DH doesn't know it yet, but I've already decided if you guys ever get together for something down there, I'm going to try and attend. I drive 8 hours to Lansing for meetings so Chicago is actually closer!

We should try and come up with something....

I've met you Julie - and you don't qualify for that job!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Kate;

How did your flyer turn out??? Our parish has a festival worker appreciation dinner a couple of months later. They do it very nicely, I'm not sure if you do this or not, or if it would give people more incentive. We also have a festival worker drawing for a trip or something.

When is your festival???

::yes:: ::yes:: I couldn't agree more!!!! Poor Katie Holmes :confused3 !!!

That's for sure...have you read how he wants her to give birth in the "quiet room" no noise can be made during the birth process. Him and I would last 5 minutes...before I sent him to go see L. Ron Hubbard.

I love "current" movies based on Shakespeare plays!!!

Another great movie is Center Stage! I took the team I coached to see that when it came out.

We love Center Stage in my house....very few people have heard of it.
I love Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club etc.....

he is so hot - atlthough I saw him on Oprah and I think I would have to tell him to keep his mouth shut in bed!!!!
He lost it for me after the naked bongo drum playing incident................that's just too weird!

I think those of us who graduated in the 80's are showing their age tonight!

Sounds like you all had a fun sing along after I went to bed last night.

I don't think you need to claim you are showing your age that you graduated in the 80's, because I was born in the 80's and know these songs. Graduating from kindergarten in the 80's but that was my only graduation during the 80's. :thumbsup2

OMG.... Center Stage is WAY up there on my list. I remember when it came out, around the same time as Save the Last Dance (which I thought was SO overrated). It was my life on film, so I really took to it. Then I made DH watch it to understand why I'm a little  sometimes!

:rotfl:

Ok, Chanon, now it's all I can do to keep from singing Hang On Sloopy all day (complete with O-H-I-Os, of course.... they ARE a part of the song, you know! ;) )! :rotfl2:

Edit: To clarify, I'm NOT doing the motions around the house. Just the letters, in my head :teeth:

Hey, I couldn't remember the song title so everyone I was asking "hey you remember that song where you (insert me spelling out Ohio)?!?"
Actually I have "you look wonderful tonight" in my head now...gotta love Musak reruns at work!

Ah, Tom Cruise of old  When did you get so weird?! :rotfl:

I so agree!! It just about my heart when he did his couch jumping, among other things.... I still love his old movies, though...

Eric Clapton? That was our wedding song! I'd rather have that one :)
