We really loved it back when it was Dixie Landings, but we haven't been there in a while. I can let you know after August 26th.

Becky - I am SO JEALOUS of you!!! Back to Magic Cruises - at first I thought you meant Wonder and then I realized you meant 14 days of cruising!!

That will be awesome and think of how many t-shirts you will need!!!!!!!!!!!

Becky -- me too -- very jealous. I don't get the people that wonder if they would be bored on longer cruises. Not me -- I'm hoping my DS 7 really does what he wants to when he grows up -- becomes Captain of the Disney Magic!I hope you have a fabulous time!

he is so hot - atlthough I saw him on Oprah and I think I would have to tell him to keep his mouth shut in bed!!!!

Although, I thought he redeemed himself in the Barbara Walters special. He was on the sidelines of UT's first trip to the Rose Bowl (Jan. 2005) and I kept my binoculars trained on him instead of on the game....

Risky Business, Top Gun, Back to the Future, the Outsiders, Flashdance, Trading Places, Red Dawn, Return of the Jedi, Ghostbusters, Karate Kid, Indiana Jones, Footloose, DH's alltime fave A Christmas Story, Terminator, St Elmos Fire, Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, Ferris Beuller, Dirty Dancing, Lost Boys, Fatal Attraction... and those are just a few of the awesome movies that I saw during my four years in HS (83-87). The 80's were the BEST!!!!!!!!

Agreed! (Although I did graduate 3 years earlier than you...)

Morning, everyone. Yes, it is early and I haven't had any sleep. Quit DISing, and 30 minutes later BK was up. Then Rees... then Davis... then BK again... Now they're asleep and I'm wide awake. So, I figured I'd DIS again.

Oh, and the fact that I'm having an absolute panic attack over changing to Sept and the kids missing 5 days of school is NOT helping... I really am freaking out. Should I switch it back to December so they don't miss any school? Geez, I'm so wishy washy. I wish someone else could make these decisions.

Ooh, an old Humphrey Bogart movie just came on TV. At least I have something to watch now.

Get some sleep!!!! Hopefully everyone will fell better later on today!!!! Did you read all of those books yet???

I think I would keep it the way it is!!! They will be fine, especially if they give you work to do while your away, they did this for Kyle and Carli when we went this past October. Carli was in Kndg. and I didn't feel like she missed much at all since we did the work they sent home, and Kyle had lots of work to do while we were gone and since he has an aide working w/ him she catches him up quickly!!! Keep it!!! Just think of all your plans and ADR's you've worked so hard on and the free dining you would pass up!!! Keep it, they will be fine!!!!

I have two Disney World photo traditions.
1. Must have my pic on the Carousel (and all carousels I have ever been on).
2. Must take my pic hanging from the "Singin' In The Rain" Lightpost and Umbrella at MGM.

Someday I am going to collage them all together and give it to my mom.

That would be really cool. If you ever collage it, I'd love to see pics! I regret not having come up with a tradition like that with my girls. It would have been cool.

I think it's great that there are so many of you who live close enough to see one another regularly. I wish that I could find a DDA who lived close to me, but oh well. I'll just have to pray that I get to meet you all someday. The half marathon will be one place, and I do plan on coming to a WDW meet sometime. Just have to save some money as DH says he doesn't like to feed my addiction.

Me too! I can't even find anyone from the DIS that lives in the UP. I posted on the Welcome to the DIS board and there wasn't one person that lives in the UP that responded. There was one that is from the UP but now lives in California but what good does that do me!!!
