So the tree is decorated...with only one of our boxes of ornaments:confused3 don't know where the other one is.

The cat took a half hour nap under the tree...that seems to be the extent of her curiousity over the tree (I hope:upsidedow )

I came to the realization this weekend that my novel won't be finished by the end of the week. I am proud that I tried but there was way too much stress in real life to immerse myself in the life of my characters.

I did 12 loads of laundry this weekend and we cleaned the house almost to ***** (I can't believe this was starred out s p i c) and span and are ready for our guest to come tomorrow. Help me decide what to make for her for dinner. I've got chicken and hamburger thawed out. I was thinking fried chicken and mashed potatoes.

Hi Robyn--Im hanging in there..been a lot of rough moments today..guess i knew i would be upset but im alot more upset than i thought..so its been a long couple days--im hoping i actually sleep tonight!

Thank you for asking

I can DIS a bit now. Chris and I had our weekly date to watch the Amazing Race and since he was so helpful with the outside decorations he is now watching the Patriots game on the big tv ;)

We worked outside most of the afternoon. It was a beautiful day and I only needed a fleece jacket. We got all the lights up on the roof and both of the decks are decked out with garland and lights. I still have a lot more to do, but I feel like we are making progress. The boys helped  too. I gave Nick and Hunter the task of sorting out the window wreaths and placing them under the correct windows. You would have thought that it was the most impossible task ever. For two intelligent boys they lack common sense. We really need to wrok on that.

I'm finally caught up.

Robyn - Lucy is adorable.

Becky - Loved your parasailing pictures. Now Bob wants to go. ;)

Tom - Leighanna's Santa picture is adorable. Alyssa asked for Butterscotch this year. We don't have room for a horse. :)

:grouphug: to everyone else dealing with crappy family issues.

Thanks Tammi. And I'll ditto your recap because I'm too lazy to do one on my own. :rotfl:

your right it is:hug:

::yes::

Sorry you're not going to finish the novel in time but you've managed to get going so just keep up the momentum when you can.

12 loads :scared1: What time is dinner tomorrow? ;)

I am headed to bed. Night all.

Good thinig Amazing race is over--chris can have a heart attack watching how close this game is!!

I had some Kohl's cash to use between today and Dec 1st so I made a quick trip tonight. I managed to find a couple of frames that were spacious enough to hold our pin collection (the family pins, not all the kids pins). I got those framed and on the wall. A couple of them are a bit crooked, but it was hard getting them in there at all so I'm not complaining.

So I am not ready for work tomorrow. I have taken a several hour nap everyday this weekend. I have not accomplished much of anything. Another day or two off would be a good thing. But off to work I will go tomorrow and see how long I can stay before I feel to exhausted

Jen please hang in there. :wizard: :grouphug:

Jennifer- Hope you feel better throughout the rest of your pregnancy.

Tammi- well parasailing sounds like a great excuse to get Bob on a Disney Cruise or another trip to WDW or another tropical destination of your choice.:thumbsup2 ;)

Robyn- Great pictures of the Christening and I bet you are glad it is over

Sending good thoughts to all of you:hug: :wizard: :grouphug:

Ooh, I love that idea. I may just have to buy myself one of those Mickey cookie cutters and make those for Christmas. I know some college students that would love them.

Aah work. Its nice being a stay at home wife. :duck:

I think the duck smilie is appropriate! ;)

Lots of prayers and PD to you and your family. Keep hanging -- we'll help hold you up!

Robyn -- darling pictures of Lucy! I'm glad it went well.

Jen -- I hope Thea is still doing well.

Becky -- nice pics!

I've seen additional new sigs yesterday and today! Very nice!

Vicki, I just noticed your ticker. Will you be ready to leave in 17 days?

I just took some picures of my new Disney displays :cool1:

Are you kidding? I'm freaking out here. :scared1: What in the world did I get myself into? We have a reservation at the Brown Derby one night, breakfast with Elizabeth & Tammi one morning and otherwise nada. We did order our MVMCP tickets but I haven't seen them. I have to call about ME because I forgot to add that. I do have plane tickets and a room.

I'm loving the Disney pictures. Those are neat. Mom brought frames for the cartoon drawings we had done of the girls at Disney in 2005. I just have to decide where to hang them. However, I decided before I do that, I want to make a photocopy on Chuck's 11x17 color photo copier. I want to make them smaller so that I can scan them. Becky is a Karate Master and Katrina is a mermaid.

You've got the 2 most important things taken care of...way to get there and a roof over your head while your there!!

The rest will fall into place!!:yay:

Oh, and our annual passes expire on the 5th so we have to get new ones with the renewal and DVC discounts. That will save us some money but I still have to get them. I also need to renew my DDE card. My only problem with that is that we'll have a meal at the resort before we get to a park to get the card. At least you can get the DDE now at the parks (or was it DTD?). This should be an interesting trip! :confused3
