Oh, one more thing I need to share. Evidently Bob told his mom all about our trip in October...bits of information about shows, attractions and stuff. So she says to me "since you go so often have you been able to figure out how they do some of the things?" Before I had a chance to answer Bob says "It's Disney magic, Mother." He just might be 'getting it.' :goodvibes

I am so happy to hear you so happy Tammi.:goodvibes

It seems like forever since I looged on here and read, but it has been only about 36 hours. The girls and I got up yesterday and had breakfast before heading to our lovely downtown area (no Black Friday shopping for us this year) for tea and a little fun shopping. I am catching up now.

Tammi - I love your new "look" on here! Glad Thanksgiving went so well. Wasn't that weather crazy? We all sat outside on the patio as the TurkeyDay meal cooked and by that evening needed hats and scarves and raincoats!!

Sounds like Thanksgiving dinners (with Tom's being the exception :( ) went well and Black Friday shopping netted some good bargains. I agree with the consensus that there was not a lot out there this year that I felt the need to rush out and buy.

We're back from Sam's. We spent over $1100 in 10 minutes.:scared1:

DH got his dSLR camera. It's a 10 mp Olympus. We think it dropped another $100 overnight. DH and I both thought it was $600 yesterday, and today it was $500.:confused3 Works for me. He is trying to get it out of the package now. I want him to practice with it so he is comfortable using it at WDW in 19 days!

So while we were waiting for DH to go grab a cart we stumbled across a big display of Wii bundles. The same thing I was looking at online yesterday. So we bought that, too. DS says he understands he will not be allowed to play with it until Christmas morning. We stopped by Toys R Us but their sale on Wii games is over. Please post if anyone sees them on sale between now and Christmas.:)

I cannot wait to see the pictures from that long-awaited camera!! :rotfl:

We're watching that too. Of course the boys don't remember seeing it before :rotfl2:

Jen called a bit ago. Her Dad called her and her Mom earlier this afternoon and her Grandfather had taken a turn for the worst. He was having a lot of difficulty breathing. They are all at the hospital where they will remain until he passes. They started him on a morphine drip earlier this evening and said it was only a matter of hours now. She sounded really good and didn't want anyone wondering where she was. The family is at peace with the fact that the time has come since he has been clearly suffering for days.

Deb, thanks for keeping us posted!

Lindsay - I bet I have missed you! I hope your trip is just magical.

Jennifer - I am glad the reveal went so well and everyone is as delighted as we are! ;)

Sometime today I'm going to tell the kids we are going to WDW in 2 weeks. I just don't know how to do it. Since I didn't put a lot of planning into it there won't be much fanfare. Then tonight when their dad picks them up I need to remind him about it. We haven't spoken of it for months so I'm sure he's forgotten. I hope he doesn't give me any grief. If you wouldn't mind, I could use any extra pd that might be laying around.

I hope to see that this all went well, Tammi. :goodvibes

We're off to Ottawa to visit the inlaws for Thanksgiving. I'll probably be on some, but I never can quite predict the plans there. Usually it's pretty laid back, but if I don't pop back on have a great weekend! :goodvibes

The kids just left with their dad. I reminded him about the trip. I got the rolled eyes, but no grief. YAY! So now it seems really real. I don't have to worry anymore about him canceling my AKLV ressie, and the kids now know. 16 MORE DAYS!!!!

PHEW! I am so glad it went so well!

We went to WalMart this afternoon, it was busy but not so bad that you couldn't get around. They do however need more cashiers.

:rotfl: When I first glanced at your post, Heide, I thought you said they needed more CASHEWS! :rotfl:

Jenn -- my SIL found a Cowboys blanket on an endcap at Wal-Mart today. It will be headed your way next week. PD and prayers for your Grandpa and you and your family.

I'm having my favorite salad from Mi Cocina. I just finished it, but can't bring myself to get up, throw it away, and take my make-up off. Randy may find me sitting up in bed with my salad beside me when he gets home.

awwwww.... :goodvibes I am glad you got so much shopping done, Marci. I also hope today finds you more rested, and with a clean face! :rotfl:

I hope you have a nice visit. Are you going to have another reveal there?

Here is a message that DS wanted me to post

th_NicksChristmasMessage.jpg

How cool! Merry Christmas to you too, Nick!!

Well, I started off with "do you remember when I asked you if you wanted a lot of presents for Christmas and no WDW or a few presents and a trip to WDW". Nicholas said he still wanted a few presents and WDW, and Alyssa said a lot of presents. So I told Alyssa she could stay home with Daddy and that Nicholas and I were going to WDW.....IN 2 WEEKS!!! She quickly decided that she wanted to come too. They were thrilled, and then I started showing them pictures of AKL, and they remembered it from when we were there for dinner at Boma. We had been early and had time to walk around the pool area and all the overlooks. Then I showed them the Color Coded Matrix of Fun ;) and what all we would be doing and where we would be eating. They were excited to go back to CP, as we haven't been there since '04. I still haven't told them that Bob and Bethany are coming. That will be another surprise. :goodvibes

That is terrific! I am glad they are so excited. :goodvibes

Nick what a wonderful design, Merry Christmas to you!

Tammi your kids are really gong to be surprised when you tell them about Bob & his dd!

Jennifer enjoy your weekend with the inlaws!

Elin nice to see you posting, sounds like you had a relaxing Thanksgiving :goodvibes

Bernadette sounds like you had fun at Kohls!

::yes:: Me too! See what you started, Anne Marie. Good idea. :thumbsup2

I liked all the festive siggys when I got on here this a.m. too. I am working on mine as it needed to be resized a couple of times. Now my cookies have the larger size "locked-in" and I don't know if it is small enough yet or not! :confused3

The Signature Nazi will be sure to let you know if it's too big!
