Ok, I think you all need to get Chuck to stop lurking and come out and post. I told you he would read today.

Chuck, come out, come out, where ever you are.

Hey, I named my Pal Mickey after you!!!!

Actually after my very first best friend who's name was Chuck. But your name is Chuck too :goodvibes :lmao:

Hey strangers...

Hope everyone is enjoying their thanksgiving. I know we are as we have many things to be thankfull for this year. Specifically the one sleaping on the living room floor right now.

However I'm not sure how thankfull I am for tomorrow... I turn 40 and that is a real Black Friday!

Hi Mac and beautiful family. It is so good to see you. :goodvibes

We had a really nice day. I got to myBob's around 11:30. The kids played outside since it was 70 degrees while Bob, his mom and I sat and visited and worked in the kitchen. His mom is very nice. I was impressed that she took Nicholas aside and played cards with him or read with him when he was getting shunned by the girls. We ate around 2 and after we cleaned up we sat and played some games. Then just more visiting until it was time to come home. The kids were exhausted. Tomorrow we decorate!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day. I see many of you have been studying the ads. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't even looked at them.

Hi DDA!

We had a nice dinner and are now on our way out for midnight madness!!! We lost our minds years ago.:woohoo: :woohoo: :santa:

Hope everyone had a nice holiday.

Hi Mac... good to see you.

:grouphug: :grouphug: Jen. :grouphug:

And twins!!! I didn't know it was twins!!!! Missed that! Cute card. :dance3:

Okay, off to finish my Christmas shopping!!:dance3:

Jen take care of yourself, continued prayers for your grandfather.

All caught up..thanks so much for all your prayers and thoughts..im hanging in there...im exhausted but cant sleep. I also forgot to bring my meds to the hospital and now i am coughing and sneezing like crazy--i just took my meds and put them in the bag i am taking tonight.

Our Thanksgiving Dinner is finished. The meal was wonderful, but the number of people really dwindled this year. Other obligations. I broke the news that I was not doing Christmas Eve at our house this year. The concensis decided to rent the hall that I have reserved and hold it there. No one offered up their house. I think some people were bitter, but that is life, I am just too busy. There was also a huge debate over giving gifts to all the little kids. We have always done this and SIL and myself already have our gifts bought for all of them. Apparently One of my cousins kids don't want to do it. We decided to continue this year and suggested they hit the dollar store. The kids love to open presents and it just wouldn't be fun if they only got one. Next year they want to dry names between the kids, but we've tried that with my generation in the past and many of us just ended up with cash in an envelope which sucked. I said when they switch to drawing names I will just buy some gifts and wrap them for my kids that way I know they won't be disappointed. I wish my family was a nice as the DDA as the ornament from our exchanges rocked.

Glynis please tell Jacob that Hunter was Blown away by his exchange. He loved the ornament and couldn't believe how many extras he got. I will post pictures when I find time.

My Black Friday lists are made and I should be in bed. The first stores open at 4 AM. I don't need anything that will fly out the door so I'm not standing in any lines tonight. We did however drive over to Best Buy. Apparently people started lining up at 3 o'clock this afternoon. And people thought that we were crazy last year getting there at 9 PM :confused3 There must have been close to 100 people in line by 8:30 tonight. It is cold and rainy here too, with a blustery wind. We did see 4 tents this year though.

Deb, you are still crazy! :lmao: I looked through the flyers and didn't see anything that was of any interest. We may go out at a reasonable time in the morning.

We got our list made out too....nothing huge to get other than the sewing machine...we will leave the house about 5:30. This will be the first year the girls have joined me the entire time.

Cassidy did say that we should just stay up all night since we could drive to the Outlets that are opening at midnight...my child is nuts!!:rotfl2:

Hi Mac, so nice to see you stop by! You have a beautiful family & I hope your Thanksgiving was a good one. Happy Birthday to you! Turning 40 really isn't that bad lol

Sounds like everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! After work we went over to Gary's bother's for dinner. We had a great meal with fun conversation about our upcoming trip :goodvibes I did get to watch Ratatouille tonight, I thought it was cute. But the thought of rats working in a kitchen gave me the willies lol

Tammi looks like you have a new avatar!

Hope all of you going shopping tomorrow are able to get everything on your list. No BF shopping for me, I have to work in the morning. I do plan to stop at Walgreens & get some of the B1G2 free large jar candles. I bought these last year & I think they are just as good as Yankee.

Stephanie I can't believe you are already out  Good luck to you!

What a great Black Friday shopping adventure!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Some highlights.... 3 pair of Reeboks and 6 pair of socks for $46.00!

Comforters for $25.00!:dance3: :dance3:

We didn't stand waiting for any store to open today. We didn't need any major items that were going to be gone in seconds.:goodvibes

The line for Circuit City was insane!!!!!!! Wrapped around the building:eek:

We didn't need a thing there...:cool2:

We're headed for bed. I'm exhausted.....:goodvibes

And the countdown to Christmas begins :santa:

Good morning :)

Good Black Friday Morning DDA!

I am not going out to face the crowds today! There really wasn't anything in the ads that we had to have!

Woke up to the ground coated in white! It looks so Christmasy out!

Dinner at Banana's really bit the big one! Cold and dry turkey, cold and yucky green been casserole, flat deflated rolls, intstant potoates with canned gravy. Yuck! All this goodness for the measley some of $10.95 per person!

We went to Wal-mart afterwards, and picked up a turkey breast and some other things, and made our own Thanksgiving feast for supper! Now that was the real deal! And, I spent way less on those fixin's than the whole dinner at Banana's cost! Oh Well.... That's where the in-laws wanted to go, so we went along!

I need to finish up some sewing projects today for Christmas, and then Leighanna wants to see Santa downtown in his little house on the square. So I guess that are our plans for today!

Have a great day all! Safe travels to all those braving the crowds today!
