Yes I have been.
Sorry to say I hated it.
Acting was just plain bad.
The food was the worse.
I have eaten t.v dinners that tasted better.
JMO to each their own.

hopefully ours is a bit better. I wish they'd say who the caterers are...then I'd know how bad it's going to be:lmao:

I got a call from my MIL last night. She was asking if my mom was coming tomorrow. She said "We received the teddy bear today". I was like "What?" Then I remembered. My mom's church sends Teddy Bears to church members, their family & friends in the hospital or suffering a lasting illness at home. The members collect Teddy Bears, they get a ribbon around the neck and then they get loved up in church during services. They have a note attached to them and then they are sent to the person in the hospital. My mother had one sent to my FIL & MIL. My MIL was very touched. She said it made her whole day.

Did I tell you how much I love my mother? She is an awesome woman. She does so much for others. She has sent a Christmas card to my MIL & FIL every year since Chuck & I married. Something about them being a part of the family now.
Well, you have followed right in her very large footsteps. Someday Becky and Katrina will be saying the same thing about you. :goodvibes

Thanks for the reminder Vicki. I have been wanting to make deviled eggs for a while now.

My BIL & niece look forward to my devilled eggs every year. It has become a tradition. It's kind of funny because they are so easy to make. I don't add anything but mayonnaise. Seriously, I take the yolks out, mix it with mayonnaise for the right consistency and stick it back in there. We add a little paprika for color and they are done. I don't use a pastry bag or anything. Yet, it is one of the things that they look forward to every holiday.

me too...I was trying to decide if I wanted to do it tonight or just make and snarf them down tomorrow. :rotfl2:

Jo, email me your pager number and the time you will be eating. I'll page you and you won't have to help clean up.

I'm eating @ my bosses house.
How do I explain I need to unclog a toilet?
With a PA area code.
Wow we get paid mileage. :rotfl2:
Oh H*** I don't have snow tires. :rotfl:

Awwww. Thanks. I hope someday that I'm half the woman that my mother is. I don't know that I'll ever be that unselfish. She has always put the interest of others before herself (as long as it didn't interfere with the welfare of her grandchildren, children or husband).

Dad was much the same way. The year that he died, he had spent the previous month or so building a garage for my mom's sister. Mind you, he had only retired 3 or 4 months before that. He hadn't quite finished it so the next summer, Chuck & I (with the help of my sister, her now ex-husband, and my mother) finished the job. My aunt talked about getting a builder to finish it but we told her that we had to do it (it was a matter of honor to us).

Vicki love the idea of your church doing bears.

Good night.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Hope everyone has a great holiday.
Catch ya later.

I'm not making them until tomorrow because I was afraid I'd eat too many and have to make more tomorrow anyway. :rotfl: :rotfl2:

G'night Jo and Janet. Happy Thanksgiving.

I think I'm going to bed too.

I hope everyone enjoys their day tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a great day wherever they are.

Jen, my prayers are with you & your family. I'm sure this is a very difficult time for all of you. :grouphug:

The cast members are always working and never stopping to keep things in tip top shape

I went outside on deck 4 for a short bit and then headed inside for the towel folding workshop.

After the towel folding I headed up to deck 7 aft to relax

It was nice and empty except for me

We then headed to the third floor for our galley tour. You need to go to Guest services early in the week and ask for tickets for the Galley tour, they are free but a limited amount. The tour starts in Lumiere's or Triton's depending on the ship. In this instance this it is Lumiere's, it is gorgeous. It is a darker more elegant look IMO then Triton's. Lumiere's is named for the Candlestick in Beauty and the Beast

The Galley's are nice, big spacious and clean. Although I am sure they are not so spacious once the hundreds of staff are running in and out

After the tour we headed to Beat Street and killed some time

Before we knew it it was time for the nightly show. Tonight was Disney Dreams and it was neat to see things now that we had the Behind the Scenes tour

We went to see Enchanted. I liked it alot & so did the kids. Dana wasn't as thrilled as we were. Giselle is a nice addition to the Disney Princesses. There was one part (no spoilers here) that some people show up in the movie & if you don't already know who they are you would not even know it...Sorry sounds criptic but I don't want to ruin anything for anyone who is going to see it. Anyway fun movie!!!

Sorry, I'd rather have Prince Edward over Robert (Dempsey)

I agree. I like Patrick Dempsey as an actor, but James Marsden is cuter.

Speaking of Dinner Theaters, our local one is doing a production of Beauty and the Beast. Bob got tickets for us to go Friday night! I really would like to take the kids but for all of us to go it would be around $200. I'm looking forward to it.

That sounds like fun! What a nice thing for Bob to do!:goodvibes

yup...we get the matinee wedding. :rotfl2:

I'm sure it will be fun! And if it isn't, well, it was free!:rotfl2:

Hope you enjoy your dinner at Bananas :rotfl:

:woohoo: for having the day off!

You might like going to Bananas. Let us know!
At least no one showed up at your house asking you to babysit their guinea pig.;)

They actually canceled my reservation on the 26th w/out my knowledge!!!! Thankfully I didn't just show up...

There seem to be a lot of snags lately. I guess I better show up not expecting much so I will be surprised if things go right!;)

The kids are watching Santa Claus 2 & giggling their heads off.
Dana went to bed, the poor guy is sick. He never has a minute to rest so I insisted ne try to get to bed early.

Maybe I need to send him to Disney alone to come back refreshed!!! ;)

Oh I forgot to say..Sophie was picked to be the lead angel at out Christmas pageant at church. She is soooo excited, she gets to sing.

I hope Dana feels better soon! Yay for Sophie!

I'm on-call so I have to work.
At least I don't have to cook. :thumbsup2
Going over to my friends house.
I'm bringing the pies.
I can't believe I paid $20. for 3 pies. :scared1:
They had better be some D** good pies.
Now if I can just get someone to page me
when it's time to clean up the dishes. :rotfl2:

That sounds like the cake I bought that was like $46. It was just a darn layer cake! I almost fell over when the girl rang it up. But I was too embarrassed to tell her "Never mind" so I paid for it. Never buy things in a bakery where the prices aren't posted!:scared:
I see Heidi has offered to page you. I was going to offer.;)

Jen just called and she will be staying at the hospital along with her mother tonight. Her grandfather just had a seizure and his breathing is labored. They think that he will pass tonight and the family is praying for that at this point. He hasn't been conscious for any length of time since Sunday. She wanted everyone to know that she is ok and that your support means so much to her. She will update me with any changes later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Oh, dear. :guilty: Jen, we are all thinking of you!

Goodnight, DDA! I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving mornings with your families! :goodvibes:

Good night, Elin!

Debbie, glad to hear the your FIL apologised.

I think YOU deserve an apology, too, Debbie! But I am glad things are getting smoothed over.

DH and I went to a murder mystery dinner theater a few years ago with some of his friends and it was HORRIBLE. Like Jo said, I have had better TV dinners. I can remember going to the Alhambra Dinner Theater in FL when I was in middle school. I don't remember the food being good or bad - that was a long time ago. :rotfl:

I played 3 rounds of Yahtzee with DS. Now he is watching baseball. DH is working - not sure when to expect him home. I am guessing around 1 AM if all goes well.
