I have battled a headache all day so I am headed to bed.

Tomorrow I am making an apple pie and peanut butter cookies.

Lindsay Have a safe trip to Houston and a great cruise and time at Disney can't wait ti hear all about it.

Hope tomorrow finds you feeling better!! :wizard:

Abi got her ears pierced Saturday....today Jim stepped on her hair...HARD..she goes to clean her earrings like she is supposed to and the earring falls out on the side he stepped on. They just left to see if they could repierce that ear.

I feel so bad for Abi and I said a not so nice word about Jim when I saw her ear. :headache:

Ouch! Poor Abi. I hope the repiercing was possible and (relatively) painless.

Oh Tia, what a relief!! We went into the DS looking for the "slinky Pluto" but they didn't have him. I thought Goofy was on her list and when I got home and double checked and it wasn't (it was on Mary's) I about died. I was scared she wouldn't like it.

They change constantly and Goofy was on her favorites list recently so I thought it was on her exchange list too. She was really excited to see it and she  the slinky action.

You must have missed my earlier post or maybe I just thought that I posted :confused3 . Colby got his ornament today. He LOVED the Cars pencils and stickers. That was the first things that he saw. Mommy how did they know that I like Cars. Then he moved the newspaper and saw bubble wrap. He immediately said, "Wow, how did they know that I LOVE bubble wrap" :rotfl: :rotfl: So he proceeded to pop some bubbles before removing the tape. Then he found the wonderful homemade cinnamon Mickey head ornament and wanted to know if he could take a bite of it yet :lmao: :lmao: Then back to playing with the bubble wrap. Finally he discovered the Donald Duck ornament and couldn't believe that anyone would know that he Loved Donald Duck. I said that "maybe" I talk about him. He decided that I should not talk about him anymore since everyone knows everything about him :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Please tell your Nicholas that he loved everything about his package :thumbsup2 Thank you very much

Okay, that has got to be the cutest!! Especially the bubble wrap part. :lmao: :lmao: My best friend in high school bought my sister a roll of bubble wrap for her birthday because he knew that she liked to pop them. Funny part was that Kristi was 16 or so at the time and I really think that may have been her favorite present that year. She wouldn't share the popping either except to let Matt have a few pops. :rotfl:

Glynis, I am so sorry about your grandmother. You and your entire family are in my prayers. I hope that on Thanksgiving you all can find peace and remember all the wonderful times together.

I'm loving all the pictures of the recent trips. WDW looks so beautiful at Christmas-time.

Lindsay, have fun on your cruise and at the Grand!

I am so far behind and would love if someone could catch me up on the big stuff. I will hopefully be on more often now that we're home! I just want to wish you each a very Happy Thanksgiving. Your support, as always, has been most appreciated and a true blessing to us all.

Well, I can see the light! There is a light at the end of the dining room. Well, actually there is a china cabinet, but I can see the end of the cleaning coming soon. The best part is that I only have half of a laundry basket of toys that need to be worked into the playroom. That means 1. I don't have to do much sorting and 2. Terra may be able to get out some more of her toys from the boxes. Of course, I am also overwhelmed by the amount of craft supplies that I have collected, but hopefully that won't be so bad once I get them sorted out into their little boxes.

I also have 2 very yummy pie crusts (and a cinnamon crust for snacking) made. Unfortuantley, I didn't get the pies made to go in them, but I'll do those in the morning. They will just have to live with 12 hours less time setting up (they'll still have 36+ so I think they will survive).

And with that, I am going to go to bed. Lots more to do tomorrow - finish cleaning, make the 2 fillings for these crusts, make 1-2 more pies and crusts, start putting together some of the casseroles for Thursday and maybe cook the turkey though I think I've decided to stick with Thursday for that. If we're leaving Friday I guess I had better find time to do laundry and pack too. The big question is whether I have any sickies to take care of as well. Guess we'll see come morning. Man, I love this time of the year!!! (Seriously. All this cooking is my favorite!)

I think that you've caught the biggest news of late - Jennifer and the babies! and Glynis' grandmother. Let's see what else I can think of...

Jennifer and Virginia are doing great. She seems to be kicking the jaundice at last.

Theresa is looking for a new job. She got some of her grievances heard so it isn't quite as bad sticking it out there until something comes along, but she's still searching.

Tammi, her kids, herBob and his DD are going to WDW together in Dec.

Bernadette and Debbie just got back from trips to WDW. Bernadette has some wonderful pictures and her trip report is kind of spread throughout recent posts.

Amy, Elizabeth, Janet, Tammi, Kristine, Lyndsay, Jo and Vicki have trips coming up soon.

Chanon bought her house from her mom not too long ago.

Tom has been listing dresses on eBay and is doing pretty well. The holiday roll rush is probably slowing that down for now though.

Clare has been joining us a little lately and we're all so happy to see her! She is starting a new position at her bank very soon and is looking forward to it. They just got back from WDW recently.

Paula was at Disneyland recently and, according to her postcard, had a great time. Hopefully things with her stepdaughter are going well as we haven't heard an update recently.

Vicki and Chuck bought DVC this week and they are planning their first trip "home" for Dec 13-ish. Chuck got the bug to go back and things moved quickly!

Lyndsay needs to get packing as it is almost time for her wonderfully big trip!

Jo is keeping busy with work. Ramiro has done wonderfully this school year and was allowed to promote up to 8th grade and get back on track with his age-level.

Beth is crazy busy with school and the kids activities. She is considering cutting back her classes next year as working every day is getting to be too much.

Deb is being her usual super-woman self and creating wonderful birthdays for her boys.

Amy pops in from time to time with glimpses of her two cuties.

Elin is keeping busy at work. One of her students was recently selected to perform at some really big-deal thingy (that's the techincal term, don't ya know).

Marci has been really busy at work. The boys got great reports from school and have been keeping busy with sports.

Jen's grandfather is nearing the end of his battle with cancer. He is in hospice care at the hospital and they are doing their best to keep him comfortable.

Becky is keeping busy with work and running all over PA for meetings (well, maybe not that far ;) ). She was in NYC last weekend and got a cool backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall.

Robyn is keeping up with her 3 cuties. Lucy had an ear infection this week so mom and dad are a little short on sleep.

Heidi is enjoying having her mom and sister living right across the street. Perfect location for all of them.

Terry has been working on getting her foot better and is hoping to avoid surgical treatments.

Stephanie is keeping us all laughing with tales of how Lightening McQueen isn't microwavable and the virtures of a child-lock microwave.

Karen is still looking for a job. She will be having surgery soon (or did it just recently happen) and is a little nervous about that, but we all know that she'll do great!

Anne Marie is enjoying her job at the Disney Store, but is hopefully remembering to bring some of the paycheck home instead of leaving it all in their registers. ;) They recently had a good day in NYC after missing out on The Little Mermaid due to Day 1 of the stagehand strike.

Janet is luggage shopping and dealing with the joys of having girls call for her son. Of course, if the girl could learn to call before 9:45 PM! I'm sure it would go over better.

The news from our house is not much of anything. We get to head to Branson and the Christmas celebrations at Silver Dollar City this weekend so I'm excited about that. The weather is supposed to drop down to the 40s as well so I'm looking forward to a nice "Christmasy feeling" will the sights and sounds of the holiday surround us.

(I tried to cover everyone, but if I left you out I am so sorry! My brain is fading fast, but I didn't want to forget the request since I already had once today.)

I think that you've caught the biggest news of late - Jennifer and the babies! and Glynis' grandmother. Let's see what else I can think of...

Jennifer and Virginia are doing great. She seems to be kicking the jaundice at last.

That is great news. I know Olivia is a great big sister.

Theresa is looking for a new job. She got some of her grievances heard so it isn't quite as bad sticking it out there until something comes along, but she's still searching.

Good luck on the job hunt, Theresa!

Tammi, her kids, herBob and his DD are going to WDW together in Dec.

I'd love to see a pic of herBob. I hope that things settle down with exDH soon and everything gets finalized. Have a great time in WDW!

Bernadette and Debbie just got back from trips to WDW. Bernadette has some wonderful pictures and her trip report is kind of spread throughout recent posts.

The pictures are great. And, Bernadette, your package literally arrived as I was heading to the ER with Rees last Friday. He colored in it at the hospital. And it was such a nice treat for BK and Davis too.

Amy, Elizabeth, Janet, Tammi, Kristine, Lyndsay, Jo and Vicki have trips coming up soon.

JEALOUS!!

Chanon bought her house from her mom not too long ago.

Congrats, Chanon. I know you are so excited about your wedding next fall.

Tom has been listing dresses on eBay and is doing pretty well. The holiday roll rush is probably slowing that down for now though.

The dresses and outfits are too cute. If only BK was a little younger.

Clare has been joining us a little lately and we're all so happy to see her! She is starting a new position at her bank very soon and is looking forward to it. They just got back from WDW recently.

Hi, Clare! And congrats on the new position at work.

Paula was at Disneyland recently and, according to her postcard, had a great time. Hopefully things with her stepdaughter are going well as we haven't heard an update recently.

Paula, hope you have a wonderful trip and RELAXING Thanksgiving!

Vicki and Chuck bought DVC this week and they are planning their first trip "home" for Dec 13-ish. Chuck got the bug to go back and things moved quickly!

Welcome Home and congrats!

Lyndsay needs to get packing as it is almost time for her wonderfully big trip!

Happy Birthday to you!

Jo is keeping busy with work. Ramiro has done wonderfully this school year and was allowed to promote up to 8th grade and get back on track with his age-level.

Congrats to Ramiro. Our next door neighbors are moving to Orlando next Friday. We're very sad (it's the kids best friend), but they are joining us for a day in February.

Beth is crazy busy with school and the kids activities. She is considering cutting back her classes next year as working every day is getting to be too much.

I know that feeling. 2 days has been wonderful this year!

Deb is being her usual super-woman self and creating wonderful birthdays for her boys.

How did the bowling ball turn out? And can you post a picture of the umbrella you made for the wheelchair please?

Amy pops in from time to time with glimpses of her two cuties.

When are you going to start baking my cookies??? ;)

Elin is keeping busy at work. One of her students was recently selected to perform at some really big-deal thingy (that's the techincal term, don't ya know).

Congrats to your student. I've seen pics of your girls throughout, and they look beautiful. And you are so thin!

Marci has been really busy at work. The boys got great reports from school and have been keeping busy with sports.

Give Jake and Andrew a hug from me! Take it easy and don't burn out. I know that a big anniversary is coming up, and it will be hard. You're in my prayers.

Jen's grandfather is nearing the end of his battle with cancer. He is in hospice care at the hospital and they are doing their best to keep him comfortable.

Jen, you and your family are in my prayers. I hope that your grandfather doesn't suffer and you all find peace. :grouphug:

Becky is keeping busy with work and running all over PA for meetings (well, maybe not that far ;) ). She was in NYC last weekend and got a cool backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall.

Becky, I'm loving the trip report. Need more pictures.

Robyn is keeping up with her 3 cuties. Lucy had an ear infection this week so mom and dad are a little short on sleep.

Hope they feel better so you can rest!

Heidi is enjoying having her mom and sister living right across the street. Perfect location for all of them.

That's great news.

Terry has been working on getting her foot better and is hoping to avoid surgical treatments.

Terry, take care of yourself and get well soon.

Stephanie is keeping us all laughing with tales of how Lightening McQueen isn't microwavable and the virtures of a child-lock microwave.

Oh, I missed that. Need a link to the post please.

Karen is still looking for a job. She will be having surgery soon (or did it just recently happen) and is a little nervous about that, but we all know that she'll do great!

Karen, good luck with the surgery and job hunt. I'll be praying.

Anne Marie is enjoying her job at the Disney Store, but is hopefully remembering to bring some of the paycheck home instead of leaving it all in their registers. ;) They recently had a good day in NYC after missing out on The Little Mermaid due to Day 1 of the stagehand strike.

My kids would have been so disappointed. I hope you can go back soon. And I bet the DS right now is a madhouse.

Janet is luggage shopping and dealing with the joys of having girls call for her son. Of course, if the girl could learn to call before 9:45 PM! I'm sure it would go over better.

I dread the teenage and "tween" years just for that reason!

Have fun on your trips! Sounds wonderful. And I'm so glad Phil is going on your Disney trip.

(I tried to cover everyone, but if I left you out I am so sorry! My brain is fading fast, but I didn't want to forget the request since I already had once today.)

You did a great job! Thanks!

Oh good, I'm glad to know that it arrived. They say the funniest things at that age. Note to self for next year: lot's of bubble wrap! :rotfl:

I do not have to work for the next 4 days. Sunday afternoon we have three audition concerts for next year's music camp and National Concert. Seems like we just did this... :rotfl:
