well I got our tree up today and Olivia's up. Olivia is insisting I put up the bear village on the mantel. So I guess we will do that tomorrow. I need to decide what picture to put in Virginia's ornament that Alyssa sent.

Abi got her ears pierced Saturday....today Jim stepped on her hair...HARD..she goes to clean her earrings like she is supposed to and the earring falls out on the side he stepped on. They just left to see if they could repierce that ear.

I feel so bad for Abi and I said a not so nice word about Jim when I saw her ear.

Poor Abi!

For Riley's 9th birthday we let him get his ear pierced(he tried to do it himself 3 times, so I thought I would get it done right so he did not hurt himself ). Anyway he was told to leave the earring in for 8 weeks before putting a new one in. At 2 weeks Gary puts a different earring in for him while I am at work. A couple days later I get a frantic call from Riley at school about his ear. I pick him up & the earring that Gary put in had gone inside his earlobe I took him to the Dr. & he had to numb his ear to take it out. I was not a happy camper His earlobe is fine now & he still likes to wear his bling

Hope Abi's ear can be repierced!

I've read along but just have been so busy today doing what seems like nothing. It sure wasn't cleaning, my house looks like a tornado blew through. We also had to run some errands tonight, Christmas present shopping for our exchange on Thanksgiving with my cousins.

So and all around.

Bernadette- I am sad that we won't get to meet in January. But every summer we go to Mass to visit my cousins so we can plan something then.

Well that was an exercise in futility...why didn't they tell me over the phone the girl who can pierce had an eye infection???

They will go back tomorrow....which is probably better for Abi so the swelling can go down.

Yay!! I'm glad they arrived safely. I hope the girls didn't mind that I only mailed one package. Molly picked out Katie's all by herself (it's one of her favorite characters- go figure) Hope she likes it!!

Actually, I know that Katie is going to love the ornament! It is so darling. I can't wait to get pictures taken of them all!!

DS hasn't ever asked to get his ear pierced. I would let him if he asked, but I am not going to suggest it. He'll have to think of it on his own.

Robyn - I am so stressed out by my mother that I have started dusting things. Which is great, because it needs to be done and it is quiet so I don't bother DH. I dusted my huge bookcase, but I still have a small bookcase, a corner shelf unit, the mantle, and the top of the entertainment center to go. I also cleaned the kitchen so I won't get cat hair in the food for Thanksgiving, and I washed and dried a load of DH's uniform pants. It is still hot enough for shorts but after the time changes in the Fall they have to wear pants.

Tami - I hope your morning at work isn't too bad! Princess's grandparents arrived about 12:45 today, which amazed me since their flight got in at 12:10. I wasn't expecting them unti later! They said the cab driver told them they were his first fare in 6 hours! Slow around DFW today!

We're watching Bill Engvall: 15 Degrees Off Cool on the Comedy channel. I love Bill Engvall. Chuck just told me that he is coming to the local Casino and asked me if I wanted to get tickets. That would be so cool. I might be able to see Bill Engvall live.

Marie Osmond is going to be there in mid-December but it is while we are at Disney. That is disappointing because I'd love to see her. I'm not usually a star struck person but Marie is Donny's sister!
