Jen,
Tammi,
I love the pictures of the kids. That wig is a hoot!
That is great that your kids & bobs are the same age & play so well.
Thanks. They argue well too.

I got the booster pack at Toys R Us.

Good morning :)

So much for sleeping in, I was up at 6am  So I have been messing around with our Dec. itinerary :thumbsup2 I swear I am going to have a binder full of papers to take, so I can be able to keep track of all the activities, ADR's, best parks, hours, ect. :rotfl: Does the Osborne lights have a set schedule for every evening? What about the carolers at AK & the story tellers at Epcot? I also just seen a post about something at MK called "Twas The Night Before Christmas". Anyone know what this is?

I am sure I will have a lot more questions as the time gets closer!
I don't know what time the Osborne lights come on, I assume at dusk, and they are on until park closing.

Twas the Night Before Christmas is a stage show at the Galaxy Theater during MVMCP.

I talked to the kids' dad last night and explained to him that Santa wanted to bring Nicholas the Wii for Christmas. (Thanks, Vicki. Alyssa has no interest in it). I told him that I couldn't afford it plus the accessories and asked if he would be interested in helping out. He sounded positive about it and said he would think about it and get back to me by the weekend. I would be happy if he helped pay for half of the unit itself. I would buy everything else. So we'll see.
I hope he does pay at least half. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

If I remember correctly (last time we were there for Christmas was 2002) It is a show in the theater in Tommorowland (past Buzz). They have a girl ballerina dancing with the toys (dancing teddy bears) & Mickeys there too.

Jennifer nice car!

Tammi I hope xdh2b comes through for you!

Anne Marie Riley cleaned his room yesterday so his friend could spend the night. I was impressed how good of a job he did, there is actually a floor :rotfl: I just need to go through the clothes & get rid of a lot that no longer fit or ones that just aren't their style anymore

Jen any news about your grandfather?

Elizabeth glad your feeling some better, is your kink gone :teeth:

Thanks. They argue well too.

:lmao:

Thanks I'll have to go take a look. Between Christmas, both the girls birthdays in December & Daniel's hefty tuition due in January we are really feeling the $$$ crunch!:sad2: :scared:

Very good!!!!

Did he say anything more about the girl who called him? I guess some families don't have phone rules??? We don't make calls to friends after 9pm. Thankfully none of my kids friends do either...When & if the phone rings late I jump because I think its an emergency.:scared1:

Janet, I checked on Allears. Twas the Night is also performed daily at MK, not just at MVMCP.

So I think I'll pick up some Wii games at TRU this week, just in case. I can always return them if things don't work out.

Thank you both! This is from Steve Soars site for the week of Thanksgiving. I was hoping they might do this while we are there beings we are not attending a party.

GALAXY PALACE THEATER

Mickey's 'Twas The Night Before Christmas
Thursday-Saturday at 3:45, 4:45, 5:45, 7:30, 8:30 & 9:30pm
Length of show: 20 minutes

Nope, he has not even mentioned her this morning. Hopefully there are no more calls ;)

Its a very dreary cloudy 43 degrees here. Dana was going to put the lights on outside today..looks like rain.

We are hanging at home today. I have to get the kids rooms in order. Since we are all home they can help me!;)

TRU is having the B2G1 on Wii games is anyone needs some. I hate to pass it up the sale but Santa's bringing 8 games so I think we have enough!

Thanks for the information! I think I'm heading out to TRU today or tomorrow. I just need to find out what game Matthew is most interested in without him knowing. :confused3 I'm thinking of Carnival for Miles, but I need to see what the reviews are like on that.

I can't believe how many of you are decorated for Christmas already. When I was growing up, we used to put the tree up for my parents' anniversary on December 1st, and everyone thought we did it so early.

We go get our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving weekend, because we are never home for Thanksgiving. That is so late compared to all of you, but I need the tree to last until Epiphany, and I can't quite go artificial yet. (I think that may be coming as I get older...the kids would never have it, though.)

I also don't know how mothers who work full-time get anything done. I am seriously thinking of dropping the 4's class next year so that I can go back to having Mondays and Fridays off. I am never home for more than an hour or so that I don't also have kids here. Plus running errands is near impossible. Class hours are 9:15-11:45, but I seem to not get out of there before 1:00 pm or 2:00 most days. From the time the kids get home around 3:30, we have to be out most days. Then there is all the prep work at night to get through. I know that is nothing compared to what most of you do, but I feel like I can't get myself together ever. I think I need someone to teach me to be more productive. Kudos to all of you!!!

Beth we are not putting a tree up this year beings we will be at Disney. But if I were, it would not be till after Thanksgiving. So you are not alone :goodvibes

Sounds like you have a very hectic schedule & need some time for yourself!

Thanks, Janet! Re-reading it, I seem awfully whiny, but I think you struck the nail on the head. Last Friday, even though I loved that dh took time off to spend with me, I thought more than once that I had missed my only opportunity to be by myself all year.

Have a great day, DDA! I need to go "laminate" the placemats the preschool kids made for the Family Feasts we are having this week. I am just using clear contact paper, because I can't afford any other method. They aren't perfect, but they will do.

I forgot to tell you about the "excitement" we had at preschool. We have a sensory table that we fill with different items to make it seasonal. For November we used dried corn. On Thursday, I opened up the table, and a little girl said, "Mrs. Allen, there is a mouse living in our corn." At first I thought she was pretending, but I looked over and there were actually two field mice in the corn table. I whipped that cover back on as fast as I could and dragged the table outside. They eventually scampered off, and I was left with a mess to clean. I had to empty everything out of the table. I threw away the corn and scrubbed and sanitized everything else. I guess we need to find some non-food items to use in the table. Pretty much everything we've used in the past is food to a mouse...rice, beans, pasta, corn, etc.

Hey DDA - just stopping by to post this link I found for Black Friday sales - since I know y'all are keen bargain hunters! http://www.heatherannmelzer.typepad.com/ThanksgivingDeals.xls

I've been working on a new blog about Disney - the link is in my sig - and hopefully will start writing a TR over there at some point (once I have a nasty assignment started... or finished!)

We will have a tree, but it won't go up until at least next weekend. We still have a birthday party for our large family on Wednesday night. After that we will worry about Christmas.

Hello Clare. Thanks for the link. I can't wait to read about your last trip. A blog sounds like a great idea :thumbsup2
