Vicki - How exciting!
Have you booked for December?

Have you booked for December?

Elizabeth, I think he knows.
Were you logged in one day and for some reason had to leave the computer? Its possible that he may have been curious and looked at the screen and saw the count down tickers.
thanks Lindsay. I am actually going thru sunshine rewards as I will get 1% back and they have a 20% off code on their site. I heard about them on the budget board. Thats fine on the shipping as they are Christmas presents my mom is getting the grandkids. 2 movies each. We have Mulan on VHS but Olivia is getting both for Christmas, 2 little einstein videos for DN and 2 Baby einsteins for Virginia.
Lindsay did you get your autograph books finished?
). I also have mini-clipboards, a batch of colored Sharpies, and page refills for the albums. I briefly thought about decorating the clipboards, but decided I just don't have the time.Lindsay was a sweetheart and when she was on with DVC this morning checking on her reservations, she checked availability at OKW for Dec. 13-17. There is nothing available anywhere on the 13th. But OKW is open for Dec. 14-17. The flight is cheaper so I may see if OKW has room Dec. 14-18 instead. I may actually be "Going Home" in December.![]()

Enabler Alert: Anybody got a Wahlgreen's nearby? http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1635447
I am 3 blocks away from a Walgreen's do you want me to pick you up some???
NOT what he needs on the last week of the marking period! He also had a group project in art, which I might have to get snarky with the teacher about. One of the boys didn't do anything, and today when they presented the project to the class the slacker was goofing off and made the group lose 20 points. NOT DS's fault, and if the penalty drops him from an A to a B in the class then the art teacher is going to get a very nasty e-mail from me. There was already a grade entered for the project, so either it counts for multiple grades OR the teacher went back and lowered the grade OR he was bluffing about the group losing 20 points and only the slacker lost points. I'll have to look when I get home. Can I just tell you all how THRILLED I am that DS is off all next week? We are just now 1/3 of the way through the school year.
I'm seriously considering it. I am thinking I want the Mickey/Minnie one and the Pooh one (if & only if Tigger is on there too). My breezeway is decorate in Disney and some Disney Christmas lights would make a nice addition. Then there's also the fact that I may be "Going Home" in a couple of weeks and could use them there.
By the way, I will be shipping you a package tomorrow. Sorry it has taken so long. I got it ready today and will head out to mail it tomorrow.
Lindsay - Glad the check arrived! I had already forgotten that I mailed it!![]()

I also saw in our ad yesterday that they have some sort of Disney lawn blow-up things for failry inexpensive - $25 maybe??? I *think* the ad mentioned that they were 4' tall, and I thought that was a decent price for that size.
I live within spitting distance of a Walgreens if anyone needs some!
I continue my canvass of Dallas-area Dollar Trees. I went to another DT last night and at last found a few of the Disney Christmas window clings. They had a couple of the "old-fashioned" Mickey ones, as well as one Tink, and one "modern-day" Mickey one. I bought all of them, but still need to see if I can't find the Princess ones. I'd like to give my nieces one classic Mickey, one Tink, and one princess. I'll give the other nieces/nephew both types of Mickey and a princess or another Tink if I can find it.
I'm running out of "convenient" stores. Who knew these would be such hot sellers?![]()
If you want to mail me another check, I won't complain.![]()
Sorry about DS' grades. Definitely sounds like you both could use a break from school!![]()
Anne Marie - I am glad you guys still had a good day!!Most of the staff at my Disney Store have never been to Disney. The manager who goes on a pretty regular basis is the manager they transferred.
Not sure how long it will be. We have tickets for hairspray in February so hopefully it over by then. I was going to buy Little Mermaid tickets but I am waiting to see how long the strike lasts.I just through one for Splash away the other day!!!!![]()
I'm glad you all enjoyed your day in the city. Do they think the strike will last long?
Amen to that!!!!Tammi, I hope that your soon to be X gets nothing but the shaft. It was HIS decision to leave so let him suffer with the consequences![]()
NYC is fun, there is so much to do & see. Don't be scared!!!!!I would love to do WDW that time of August again. Unfortunately, school sports start by mid-August.
See, you make NYC sound so fun, but I wouldn't know how to get around, and what to do, etc. Matthew said that they spent a lot of time just walking. I guess they were looking for a particular store (don't remember what), they ended up walking many, many blocks and then it wasn't there. But they did have a good time doing a lot of nothing.
Thank you!Anne Marie - I mailed the book today. Hopefully it won't take too long to reach you.![]()

We will be calling hospice this week for grandpa--just wanted to keep you updated
Not yet. I'm sure it will be here in the next day or two.Tammi - have you seen the CD yet? I mailed it last Monday, so hopefully if it's not there yet, you'll get it tomorrow.
That's great, Vicki. Congratulations!!I'm putting our monthly/yearly budget info together so Chuck can see in writing that we have the money to afford this. I have to get the final info on the Disney Visa $500 rewards points to make sure that happens. I also need to pay off my Disney Visa (it isn't due for a couple weeks) so I have room for the downpayment.
I'll be calling Scott back later today or tomorrow and will be a DVC member within the next 7-10 days. He verified that all the info I was basing our decision on was correct. He verified the monthly payment I had estimated. The only new thing I have left to ask him if I can get a Feb. UY instead of a June UY. That's not a deal breaker but would make much better sense for us. Our week-long trip is always the end of February or beginning of March. If we can't do this, then I'll have to borrow points from June 2009 for our March 2009 trip.
Maintenance fees are going up for SSR to $4.21 on January 1 which is also doable for us.
