I would miss you by a couple of days. Good luck with your decision!

We are looking at Dec. 13-17. Chuck will be done teaching at the college by then so won't miss any classes. We won't do the rides and stuff. We'll resort hop, see the decorations, Candlelight Processional and MVMCP. If we stay at Pop, it will cost us only about $1000 total. We can then also take advantage of renewing our AP's at the discounted price. We need to get AP's for March & June anyway but we weren't going to be able to take advantage of the discount so we aren't really considering that cost in the total.

The monkeys scared my sister too.

That is a show that I don't know if I have ever watched all the way through. As a kid, I'd close my eyes and cover my ears through most of it. The flying monkeys terrified me. I still don't really care to watch the whole show.

There were other Disney movies that I did the same thing with. We'd go to the drive-in and I'd hide behind the seat. It used to drive my parents crazy. I still have trouble watching many shows. I get an upset stomach when bad things happen. No matter how much I convince my self it is stupid, it still doesn't go away.

Good morning. Here is what we woke up to and it is still snowing.

I so don't miss this.
Sorry after growing up in Illinois.
I had my fill.

Just stopping into say hi. I had two 15 hours days with work this week. I was kind of lazy today. I did go shopping and found two business type suits for $10 a piece. The tag on the one for the MSRP said $428:scared1:  so that was an awesome deal.

Next Sunday I am going to New York City to see the Rockettes and to do a Behind the Scenes tour.

If you could keep my District Manager from Goldtoe in your thoughts that would be great she has been having severe abdominal pain. Also my cousin who is in Venezuela has Dengue fever, she got it from an infected mosquito.

Sending congratulations, prayers :wizard: :grouphug:  to all of you.

Update on Rees:

November 10, 2007 at 09:01 PM EST
He was on a diet of popsicles and apple juice today. He did get very nauseous once and retched a few times, but he kept it all down. I took him for a long walk in the wheelchair this afternoon, and it was good to get out of the room. I have no idea the next step or if we'll go home tomorrow, etc. I will let you know as soon as I see the surgeon. Thanks for the continued prayers!!!

You aren't going to believe this! Chuck is still trying to convince me to go to Disney in December. I can get flights for $238 round trip (which is great for us). I told him if we are going to start going this often we need to consider DVC. He is thinking we'd stay at Pop so we could be prepared for when we go in June. I'm not sure I'm sold on that because the reason he wants to go is because last Christmas was his favorite trip ever. I'm not sure if it would begin to compare if we don't stay at POR.

We had a good time in December last year.:santa: I don't know that resort has that much to do with it.

has anyone ever used deepdisounts.com before?

Sorry, never heard of them.:confused3

Hmm. We'll be there Dec 12-16. And what a coincidence! Tammi & I have 2 extra seats at breakfast on Dec. 14 at Tusker House! Just in case you HAPPENED to be at AK that morning.:rolleyes1

Ok, I'll be going off to do research on the DVC board. I told Chuck that we really need to start considering this now. He isn't convinced it would save us money because the dues would be so high each year. I'll be needing my buddies here to help me crunch the numbers.

You DO save money - substantial amounts of it. The reason we didn't buy in is because even financing for 10 years the monthly payments were too much for us to take on right now. I feel certain we will buy, but not right now. We will also likely buy resale.:)

Speaking of hot drinks...

I saw this special on the history of tea on the History Channel so I thought I would start trying to drink more tea. I bought a variety box of herbal tea. The berry one isn't bad, but it is kind of weird to drink it hot. The mint one isn't "minty" enough for me. The chamomile smells funky so I have to hold me breath to drink it. The lemon one is like spraying a bunch of lemon Pledge in a cup and drinking it. Now I am thinking there is a VERY good reason that I drink coffee!:rotfl2:

The problem is the tea was cheap. Cheap coffee gags me, too.

Is that going to be a character meal now? Or is it just reopening as a regular restaurant? I may take you up on that if we book the trip.

Elizabeth, you need a good English tea. Twinings English or Irish Breakfast is very good.
