I like this one, but it looks like Tink might be a pain to cut around.

Which do you all like better? I'm having trouble deciding.

Hi, everyone. Thanks for all the prayers for Rees. I skimmed the last few pages. One day, when this all settles down, I promise to keep up and post more often. Miss you all!

Rees was admitted last night to CHOA Egleston. We got to the room around 1am or so. His esophagus is extremely swollen and not allowing food to pass and liquids only at a small trickle. He's on IV fluids, and they are trying clear liquids only today. He vomited up everything he has eaten since Thursday am, so they are concerned about dehydration, weight loss, etc. He was also having abdominal pain. He slept well (all 5 hours), and has had a popsicle and some apple juice this am. He did gag a little on it, but kept it down. We should know more as the day progresses. Thanks for all the prayers.

Hi Jo, look forward to seeing you in Dec. Tell Ramiro congratulations!

You aren't going to believe this! Chuck is still trying to convince me to go to Disney in December. I can get flights for $238 round trip (which is great for us). I told him if we are going to start going this often we need to consider DVC. He is thinking we'd stay at Pop so we could be prepared for when we go in June. I'm not sure I'm sold on that because the reason he wants to go is because last Christmas was his favorite trip ever. I'm not sure if it would begin to compare if we don't stay at POR.

And you haven't booked yet, get going woman :rotfl:

What dates are you looking at?

Vicki,

I sure wish I could go again in Dec. That was one of the best times ever. But this last time was absolutely the one I will remember forever. So can we convince you to come on the cruise next year?

Am I reading this correctly that there will be an automatic 18% tip added to every single table service meal? Including buffets? If this is the case, I will no longer "automatically" tip 20% and 15% at buffets. I will leave just what they put on bill. I think that this is atrocious!

I also used to leave less of a tip at buffets. That is until Katrina worked as a waitress at a buffet. She made me realize that they actually go back to the table more than at a regular restaurant because they have to clear the plates. I started paying attention and I do see the waitresses more at a buffet than at a regular restaurant. I usually also get better service on beverage refills because they have to return to clear the plates so often they pay closer attention to my glass.

I did get an email from Disney yesterday saying they forwarded my email request about combining the photopasses and someone should be responding to me by email within 7 days. Of course, I'm trying to get through by phone instead. Just wanted to keep everyone updated.

The Wizard Of Oz is on TBS right now, it just started.

Congratulate Ramiro for us. That is wonderful. Does your school promote grades at odd times?

:teacher:
Ramiro was held back in the 7th.
He didn't do the work last year.
Didn't earn the credits to go into the 8th.
He went to Summer School.
Made up the work.
Was put into the 7th again at the beginning of the year.
The school put him on probation to do the work & get the grades.
The school worked with him.
Reasons being he scored high 4's & 5's on his FCATS
and all Summer School work was A's.
As 1 of his Teachers said he is very smart just lazy.
So he was able to meet the requirements to go to the 8th.
Now he just has to keep up the work.

Rees & your entire family continue to be in my prayers. That poor kid has been through so much!

What dates are you looking at?

We are looking at Dec. 13-17. Chuck will be done teaching at the college by then so won't miss any classes. We won't do the rides and stuff. We'll resort hop, see the decorations, Candlelight Processional and MVMCP. If we stay at Pop, it will cost us only about $1000 total. We can then also take advantage of renewing our AP's at the discounted price. We need to get AP's for March & June anyway but we weren't going to be able to take advantage of the discount so we aren't really considering that cost in the total.

Give me the details on this again so I can pass them on to Chuck. You just might be able to convince him in the mood he is in now. :lmao:

The Wizard Of Oz is on TBS right now, it just started.

That is a show that I don't know if I have ever watched all the way through. As a kid, I'd close my eyes and cover my ears through most of it. The flying monkeys terrified me. I still don't really care to watch the whole show.

There were other Disney movies that I did the same thing with. We'd go to the drive-in and I'd hide behind the seat. It used to drive my parents crazy. I still have trouble watching many shows. I get an upset stomach when bad things happen. No matter how much I convince my self it is stupid, it still doesn't go away.

Ok, I'll be going off to do research on the DVC board. I told Chuck that we really need to start considering this now. He isn't convinced it would save us money because the dues would be so high each year. I'll be needing my buddies here to help me crunch the numbers.
