Hi!!!! I've missed a lot again. All I know is that it's raining here and it makes me want to curl up in a ball under a blanket.

DS has to come home and go to school from Dec. 17-21. I wish they would have left the schedule alone!
But DH has to work and so do I since neither of us has vacation time left, so even if DS was off we would still have to come home.:guilty:

Chanon - Grab a blanket and start reading!:rotfl2:

Anyone have the finance rate for purchasing DVC through Disney? At least an estimate that I can work with until I can talk with someone there tomorrow. Chuck wants numbers tonight (he works tomorrow) to get an idea and I have no clue what the financing rate would be.

10.75%

Vicki - I still can't find that paperwork. The longer your term the higher your rate. I think it was about 9-10% over 5 years, closer to 12% for 10 years. And we would have had to pay $2000 on the spot, which was problematic because we didn't bring an extra $2000 with us!:rotfl:
I just got an e-mail with 3 OKW resales - do you want me to forward that?

It's been a bit of a whirlwind day here. We got the garage and basement cleaned. All of the summer toys/equipment is now in the basement and I can park my car in the garage :cool1: I also got the outside garlands hung on the front porch and the deck. It's at least a start. I was so cold that I had to stop an take a hot bath to thaw out. Then I planned to head to Kohl's and JcPenney's to get boxes to wrap Christmas gifts in. I realized that my garage door opener needed new batteries so I ran into Sears to get them. Turns out that Sears was having a Friends and Family sale. I was able to purchase the same TV that is on Sale on Black Friday for $999 today for a tiny bit less. The best part is no lines on Black Friday :cool1: I called my Mother and she met me and was able to purchase the washer and dryer that she wanted for the cheapest price she has seen in the 2 months that she has been looking. The also had door prize drawings. Mom won a cordless phone and I won a 2 mug travel set. I managed to buy some groceries in a rush. When I got home Chris asked me about deals one Playstation 3 of course the phones at Sears were turned off at 6 PM so we ended up driving back over. They didn't have any, but Chris won a windup flashlight in the door prize driving. We pick up the tv tomorrow. Of course we don't have a stand to put it on, but that is for another day.

 pictures were taken... whether or not I can get a digital image or not is something else. If I get one I promise I will post!

It was a wonderful, crisp day. Lots of people downtown shopping and stopping in for nice music. I think we ended up having 163 students who played from 10:30-4:00. I was at work by 9:30 and never sat down until I got back in my car to drive home at 5:30. Even with my crocs my feet are killing me!
Sounds like a busy wonderful day. :goodvibes

 for the great deals and door prizes.

Guess what!?!?! I'll have my kids for Thanksgiving!!!! :woohoo:

Vicki, if you have your loan payments automatically withdrawn, the percentage goes to 9.25 (1% lower with auto debit). Also, if you finance for fewer than 10 years the rate is a bit different as well.

So, Vicki, shall we plan on seeing you guys next month?;)

I am not sure what I thought of the Bee Movie. It was pretty good, but it felt much longer than it was. The beginning was really good, the middle was kind of "eh" and the end was making me fidgety waiting to leave the theater! Matinee prices have gone up from $5 to $6, which somehow seems like a big deal.

I tried something new for my big Sunday shopping. Instead of going to the grocery store I went to Super Target. It is definitely cheaper! Even though they only do face value on coupons I came out better. I spent the same amount that I usually spend at the grocery but I bought Tide, Downy, Q-Tips, Plug-In refills, stuff that really boosts the bill. The down side is that is was really crowded in there and some of the shelves were completely empty! They had no graham crackers. They had a sign, but no crackers. I picked up the wrong kind of Tide so I am going to have to take that back and switch it for the right one. And I am not familiar with the way the store is laid out so that was kind of tricky. I guess we might start buying more stuff there since there were some items were $2 less than the grocery (for the exact same thing).

We love shopping at Super Target for this reason!!! We also love the deli meats much better than King Soopers. I just haven't gotten out there as often as I would like too.

Hi Elizabeth! Are you planing an August trip next year? If so what are your dates?

Anne Marie what are your dates?

If there is a bounceback offer during our stay in Dec, I was thinking about maybe booking an August trip. Gotta try to get another use out of my AP :rotfl: Our schools start early so I am looking at around Aug. 11th - 18th. I just don't know if I could handle the heat. I need to check dates for the P&PP's too.
August 18-29. I find the later in August the less crowded. My kids don't go back to school until after labor day so this time frame works well. Don't be scared of the heat. The Sunday we were in Epcot (you remember the ice cubes?:rotfl2: ) was about as hot as it was in August to give you an idea.

Guess what!?!?! I'll have my kids for Thanksgiving!!!! :woohoo:
Thats great Tammi!:thumbsup2

Deb,
Congrats on all your prizes!:yay:

Chanon,
It's freezing here..I am going in my bed to watch t.v. Brrrrrr!

Thanks for all the notes about the show yesterday. We went into the city anyway to make the most of it. We went over to the theater first & saw all the picket lines. A man from the theater handed out flyers saying if we purchased via credit card we would get an automatic refund so at least we weren't out the $. My kids did not know until the guy was talking to us about it so we did have to explain that we had tickets & what was going on. They were dissapointed but I told them we had a whole day to play in the city. I got lots of hugs thanking me & Dana for our "surprise" that never happened. So we went to American Girl Doll (the place is already mobbed, can't think what its going to be like for the holidays! ), Nintendo World, saw the tree at rock center. The scafolding is up so they can hang the lights. Of course we hit the World of Disney & we got some ornaments there. We had dinner at ESPN Zone. Dana & Daniel love this place. the kids (& Dana) played video games there until midnight! So the day was not lost & we had a great time together.

I had to be at work at 8am for the holiday meeting this morning so now I am feeling it. We have some real good Disney fans working at my store. Its so cool, we were talking about fast passes & an associate pulls out Fp for peter pan to show everyone! Ok, who has FP in their wallet???? Real disney fan!!!
Anyway, then I came home & took Katie & Sophie shopping. Daniel went to a b-day party. I got Katie a jacket at Ltd too & was on the search for Ugg boots for her. Nordstroms was out, Bloomingdales too...so I came home & ordered them online from Zappos.

Well thats the scoop! Have a great night!

That's great!:) I didn't know that was up in the air. Will you have Thanksgiving with your parents?

Deb - Sounds like a good day!
I was expecting an argument, since I had them last Easter and Thanksgiving, and nothing is official yet. Friday, Sat. and Sun. after T-day is his weekend, so I was just 'assuming' that he would press me. Either he has something else planned or just didn't want to fight about it, or is saving up his ammo for Christmas  . Quite honestly, I was prepared to give him Tday if he asked, beings as though Christmas is going to be an issue and I am taking the kids to WDW over his weekend. I've told my parents that I won't be able to make it home since the kids go with him the Friday after, but have invited them down. Haven't heard yet what they will do. Bob's mom will be at his house the week of Thanksgiving, plus he has his DD, so right now the plan is for me and the kids to join them for dinner. If my parents come down I may suggest having dinner here at my house, since there is more room.

Anne Marie - I am glad you guys still had a good day!!:goodvibes Most of the staff at my Disney Store have never been to Disney. The manager who goes on a pretty regular basis is the manager they transferred.
