I have been waiting anxiously to buy the Kinkade print of Cinderella Castle, since we purchased the Disneyland one last year. Mouseplanet says they are now available (to the rest of us who couldn't go down in October for the release!) at the Art of Disney.

Well, I called merchandising yesterday, who said I was nuts and that there aren't extras to purchase, at least not yet. I called the Art of Disney directly, who said yes there are extras she (the CM) just bought one, but it's not there it's at Uptown Jewelers in the MK. I tried getting in touch with someone at Uptown Jewelers, but nobody could get through there by phone... just referred me to merchandising.

So, I know exactly what I want. If someone could at least go to the store and SEE if it's available, that would be a start. If it is, I could try and force someone there to get it ordered and sent to me, or whatever. I'm just trying to find out the correct answer!

Thanks in advance! I'll be there in December (last minute solo weekend trip! ) but I imagine these will sell out quicker than the Disneyland ones, just on my (perhaps false) assumptions that more people frequent WDW and would buy them, and that there are the same number.

I did see someone checking out of the Poly with one Sunday morning. If Bernadette nor Debbie get an answer for you, just let me know, and I'll be happy to do some snooping. (I could even do the purchase for you, so you don't have to deal with the crazy merchandising folks, if you'd like me to.) I only went into Uptown Jewelers on the night of the party, so since it was released on Saturday, not sure if they were selling them there afterwards.

There's an Art of Disney store to open in the old Cinema/VMK location sometime soon, too. If it's open by the holidays, I would bet they'll put all that there.

Whatever is easier for you! They are apparently doing this for a few months, so wehnever! thanks!

It has been a good morning here. The UTI is completely gone so I won't need to have any tests run Phew, I must admit I was getting concerned. I also got Colby enrolled in preschool. He will start right after Thanksgiving. It's nice to have those 2 things out of the way.

So I was over at the CB, checking on the exchanges and Nancy (Meriweather) post recipes on her holiday recipe exchange thread.

Well I found one that not only sounds good, but is very easy to make. (Hear that Elizabeth? I don't even you could mess this recipe up.)

Peanut Butter Cups

1 cup butter
2 cups peanut butter
2 1/2 cups powered sugar
12 ounce chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350º

Mix together butter, peanut butter, and sugar. Spread in a
9"x9" pan.

Top with the chocolate chips and place in oven for 10 minutes.

Smooth chips over top with a spatula. Cut into squares before completely cooling.

Store in refrigerator.
