Jennifer - If I had to make the choice I probably wouldn't work. Tell the guy at work that some otehr things have come up and you won't be able to come in after all, but you'll be there early on Tuesday to help with any last minute stuff.

I didn't think that was a good thing.:lmao:

It is going to be in the 80's tomorrow.

Well, it is a good thing if you have closets full of hats and sweaters!:rotfl2:
We might have a couple of pretty decent days, then it will turn cold and windy. The meteorologist on the news said that in reality Dallas is windier than Chicago. I am a big old weenie about cold, and if the wind is blowing it adds insult to injury. I would be happy if it never got below 60.

Emma's school photo. The photographer is really great. Emma wants to let her hair grow so it looks a bit too long. I have a hard time getting Emma to look at me when I take her photo so this photographer did really great! Emma told me she got her to smile by screaming at her.:rotfl:

Beautiful picture! I love her smile.

I've got agree with all the "they grow too fast" talk today. My sister in law made that sweater for Lizzy when Lizzy was 17 months old. The first photo is one of my all time favorite photos! Just pure magic that I caught that moment as this was taken with a film camera.

Those are great! I really do miss those days...

Ok, I could use some advice....

I originally planned on taking off work tomorrow after the transfer. There aren't really any restrictions afterwards, because - if you think about it - nobody goes on bed rest after trying to make a baby the traditional way (EWWWW!) and these things are designed to work out without lying around. In fact, most research suggests not having actual bed rest.

Still, I planned to take off just because I can :teeth: I was going to lightly clean the house, catch up on scrapping, etc. Just truly enjoy my day off, since Friday didn't count as one!

Then on Friday, we learned we have a huge audit starting Tuesday. We are absolutely not ready, because we were left high and dry by the director out on maternity leave. Now this audit is a) internal, and doesn't have true consequences except for preparation for state audits and b) can't be directly pinned on me since, though I do the work of 3 people, my actual job title has nothing to do with it and I was never actually told ANYTHING about it  (honestly!)

Still, I said I'd work. I'm "allowed" working, I figured I'd work, and do what I can by way of last minute preparations. Mostly so my business partner (who IS responsible for his half of the audit) doesn't freak out.

Fast forward to today...

After talking with my doctor, he said I of course am allowed working. However, most people take off and rest -- for mostly psychological reasons, with a bit of real benefit thrown in.

AAGH! So now I'm worried. If this cycle doesn't work, I will undoubtedly look back on working (and in such a stressful situation, no less). At work tomorrow, I feel like I would be a basketcase trying not to stress out at all, thereby stressing myself out more! :rotfl:

If I don't work, though, I have to call my partner and tell him that. And deal with the possible fallout, guilt, etc.

Should I go in a half day? Go in early on Tuesday and try and be as ready as possible by 11am? Not sweat it at all?

What horrific timing, honestly!

 So sorry you have the stress of worrying about this. I'm sorry I don't have any advice.

I've been agreeing with Elizabeth all weekend why stop now!!:confused3

Don't stress yourself out.

They take the Osgood School photos where Joe is this year (K-1-2) outside too. This is our 4th year at Osgood-Lizzy's 3 years plus this one. So all together 5 sets fo Fall photos. The fall photos are generally pretty poor. I had Joe's photo retaken last year as it was really out of focus. His teacher even had the class photo retaken as it was bad. His class photo this year is good and his smile is good but it is slightly out of focus and they have the sun shining on the top of his head so it looks like a halo on his head. But now he's got the black eye so I don't think I'll do the reshoot. The fall photos you have to prepurchase. The same company also takes spring photos and those always come out better. They take the photos and then send a mix of 5 sheets home and you pay something like $15 per sheet or $40 for all 5 sheets. I'm thinking it is a bit of a scam. They know you'll buy the fall photos for Christmas and for the class photo and then they get you to buy the spring photos because they are better.

The photo company (some national one-Lifetouch) offers the 3rd package from a family at 1/2 price so I figured I get one for 1/2 price next year when Emma's in K but then Lizzy came home with her order form and they use a local studio at her school-just another scam. I have not seen Lizzy's photos yet. I hope they are good.

Emma's were a bargain. $25 for 8 photos of her and the class photo on CD so I can get any prints made.

Our Lifetouch deal was a free third package for the family. This year, though, the high school went with a local photgrapher. We didn't get back the Lifetouch photos yet (Miles), but I was happy with Matthew's and Laura's and also their cross country team photos that the local guy did.

That reminds me that DS had band photos taken. I wonder if we'll get an opportunity to buy those?

So in the car yesterday DS pops out with "Rats live on no evil star" is the same sentence if you read it backwards. So there you have it.:rotfl2:

Elizabeth- Wouldn't that be an unBirthday cake????:confused3 :confused3

Jennifer- Tons of :wizard: :wizard: for implantation and a smooth pregnancy. Hope the pain goes away soon.

Theresa- Sorry, the band didn't do as well as they would have liked. I hope everyone feels better soon. I hope they have an even more fantastic year next fall.

Beth- Love the pictures. I hope our trees look like that soon. Hope Matthew did well on the PSAT.

Jen- Hope you're feeling better.

I'm loving all the flashback pictures.

Thanks, Becky! I thought our trees weren't going to change. Everyone said that they were going to go from green to brown to bare because of the lack of rain and cool weather. They were wrong, so I hope yours change, too.

YAY!!! Oh, yay! :cool1: :cheer2:

I was just on the American site and they have added more flights for miles redemption! YAY YAY YAAAAAAYYY!!!!!

I can use miles from my account for my ticket, and we can transfer miles from DH's account to DS's account for $130 and get DS's ticket, too!!! $130 is lower than any ticket I have ever seen. The LOWEST fare I have ever seen is $158 before taxes & fees, so getting DS's ticket for $130 ROCKS! TWO tickets for $130 is INCREDIBLE! Yay!!

The thing is I want to book NOW while the flights are available, and that will make DH mad because he doesn't have his vacation dates yet. Crap. What if I book and don't tell him?

OK. I moved the miles from DH's account to DS's, and I have to wait 72 hours for them to process. That's fine. Once they are credited I will book our flights for Aug. 1 and Aug. 17, then I will book DH's flights when we have his schedule.
If he ends up not getting ANY days in August then I will just change my departure from Aug. 1 to maybe Aug. 8. While I would LOVE to do 16 nights I wouldn't do it if DH can't be there for some of the time. Of course these plans don't help my bosses decide when to take Princess to her grandparents. If I leave 8/1 they will drop her off 8/2, but if I am not leaving until 8/8 they wouldn't take her until maybe 8/7.

Ugh! Too many varibales, all because of the STUPID bid process.:headache:

Soooo, Deb just called.:) She was asking me if DS had a certain pin. She said they are at Epcot and it is packed. It was packed last night, too. 2.5 hours to go around World Showcase and do nothing!

That would really frustrate me. I can't stand being trapped by people who aren't moving!
