And that would be one of the reasons I continue to consider it. I have somehow become the odd one out in my family. Since it's just minor differences you would think it could be okay, but I had never realized how inflexible and threatened by new ideas my family can be. It's a little sad, on the one hand, and annoying as all get out, on the other. I just want some :hippie:

 I guess I am the odd one out, too, since I was the only one who put my foot down and refused to have anything to do with my father. My mother and my sisters continued to be at his beck and call right up until the end. The extended relatives (on his side) all think I am the devil incarnate. Which is fine.:rolleyes1

All your pictures were great, but I really love this one! I do want to swish the mosquito off her forehead, though. :rotfl:

I couldn't decide if it was a mosquito or a scratch.:confused3

I might just post one at a time!:goodvibes

You are too nice Jennifer!

She looks just like Alice! I still haven't gone back to find your other photos, but I really need to. I love the new siggie photo, too.

Jennifer, I loved all your new photos, too! I remember those last days of pregnancy fondly now, but I also remember some of the discomfort.

I could really bore you all with a bunch of cross country photos.

Do you happen to remember how much that ornament was? Does the American greetings store have a website? A Christmas Story is Alan's favorite Christmas movie! That ornament would be a GREAT stocking stuffer!

I don't remember - sorry! I think they do have a website. If you can't find it online I can pick one up and send it to you. Sears had a whole VILLAGE (think Dept. 56) of "A Christmas Story" stuff but I didn't look at it very closely.

Got my Christmas ornaments for the exchange. Will mail out tomorrow.

Wow!!! You are good! I have 4 of the 5 ornaments, but the kids want to find "extras" to add in with the ornaments. That was the funnest part last year. Each of my children had to choose the perfect "stuff" for their buddies! I can't wait to see what they come up with this year!!!

I'll do some googling! Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on it!

I know what I'm getting Virginia's partner just looking for extras as well. Have no clue what I will get my partner or Olivia's.

So we ate at the new Mexican restaurant....it has a TON of Mexican Seafood dishes on the menu and for reasonable prices...last time I checked Colorado is landlocked....it is still right???:confused3 :rotfl2:

Anyway we both had smothered burritos and my girl snarfed it down!!!

The tortillas were so good I thought they were homemade...they weren't but oh so yummy!!

I don't think I am ever going to adventerous enough of an eater to try one gentleman's dish....full fish with the head still on...the eyes looked like they were looking at me.

I have to go get dinner started, because I need to get Laura from cross country practice and take her to synchro soon.

Please try to take it a little easy on me! I think I'll have a few minutes later tonight to pop back in.

Beth

Here you go...

Beth- you are awesome!!!

Jennifer loved the pics....I want to tell you they aren't pictures of your belly they are pics of Virginia at her first hotel. :rotfl2:

Tom-loving the pics AND trip report....should I torture people and write mine while they are gone too???

You're off to a great start, Tom!:thumbsup2

Theresa, I am glad you enjoyed lunch! DH likes Mexican food, but I don't so we never go out for Mexican. Not even at Epcot. But I have heard the Mexican food at Epcot isn't that good.:rotfl2:

I just checked on line and the kids came in 3rd today:sad2: but scored their best this season to date!!! :cheer2: That means they have come down in the rankings just out of finals contention if they go by today's scores. Thankfully they get one more stab at it....but at 9 in the morning in Ft. Collins....which means I think call time will be 5 tomorrow morning:eek:

We get settled in. Well, as settled as you can without luggage!;)

We have ADR's for 'Ohana's at 6:30, so I knew that we need to get going, in order to make it on time!

We get to the bus stop, and boy, the love bugs were out! Of course, since I DIS, I knew what these little things were called. Leighanna thought that they were "cute" and decided that she needed to pick them up! I am glad that she didn't want to take one home as a "pet". Although, every time she got one in her hand she would talk "baby talk" to it and be extra gentle. I guess I won't be squashing any of these crazy things this trip!

We make it to the Poly, and check in for our ADR's. We were only a few minutes late, but we were still o.k.! The Poly is such a pretty resort!

While we were waiting, we went to the gift shop and tried on a couple of
hats!

After trying on a few hats, our buzzer went off and we were seated. Our "cousin" who sat us was from Ohio too, and she was so nice! We were starved after such a long day, that we knew that we were going to eat us some good grub!

Not the best picture I know, but I did get up and do a little "Hula" dancing!
