Got my t-shirt design printed! Had to have mil print it for me beings our printer is not printing to well. I can't wait to iron it on, the colors came out so bright! I went with the design Anne Marie posted, I will save Tink for another time.

Mil works out of her home & gave me so much stuff! She sells reproduction vintage looking enamelware, signs, ect. I feel like I had Christmas early lol Besides a nice breadbox & tea kettle, I now have a lot of neat Christmas decor. I wasn't planning on decorating for Christmas this year, but now I want to lol

GOOD MORNING !!!!!

Hi everyone!

I have some GREAT news to share!
Some of you know that Bob and I have been renting "mom's" house for the past few years while she's settling herself. As of next Tuesday, it's offical and we will be HOMEOWNERS!!! If all goes well (meaning the FedExing of papers back and forth from NV to OH), the papers will be signed at 2pm on Tuesday. The past few months have been crazy getting paperwork together - and with the trip coming up I've been freaking out that we'd have to sign after I came home. Scary but finally great to own something - together!

:cool1: :cool1: :wizard: :wizard: That is goes according to plan.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I've been reading along on and off, but sometimes life is just too draining to really keep up with posting. I'm so jealous of all of you getting ready to leave for your DDA trip! Don't tell my work, but I'm secretly planning a weekend getaway in December for MVMCP -- just waiting on good airfare!

Life here is, well, life. Work is giving me a run for my money, because I'm now doing the job of 3, all of which are nerve-wracking of themselves. And of course, my pay hasn't changed a bit. :confused3

I'm also trying not to completely obsess over this IVF cycle, but it's pretty much impossible. We got some concerning blood work on Tuesday, so I'm dying waiting for tomorrow's appointment to see if things are looking up. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Otherwise, I have nothing too exciting to share. I'm thrilled that it's finally a bit chilly, as 3 days ago we were still at 94+ degrees and 90%+ humidity. I was ticked! ;) But most of life is spent stressing out at this point, about one thing or another. I'm going to try and muster up the energy to keep up with posts, but I can't make any promises.

I think of you all often! :grouphug:

:wizard: :wizard: I hope that things slow down in your life and that the test results are looking up

That sounds like a great deal. It's your honeymoon splurge a little.

So I made a HUGE mistake today. I got some DINGs for MHT to MCO. In all the excitement and with adrenaline pumping I cancelled our flights and rebooked for a Thursday morning flight and a later Sunday departure. I also saved $50 or so I thought. After that I added a room to our reservation and bought our MNSSHP party tickets for the 18th. Then I looked at the confirmation email and we were flying from MCO to MHT on the 18th and from MHT to MCO on the 21st. Obviously that is a HUGE problem. I made a frantic call to southwest and they could do nothing for me. I had to cancel the new flights leaving me with NADA, Nothing. I have since booked new flights getting us to MCO on the 18th at 12:30 PM (not a nonstop flight) and departing MCO at 8:30 PM on the 21st. So we have gained about 32 hours in Orlando for the mere additional cost of $342. Plus and extra hotel night and MNSSHP tickets:rotfl: :rotfl: Live and Learn. Oh well, we'll get to hang out with you all at MNSSHP. Could someone please post or email the shirt design that you all decided on and What color shirts are they going on. It looks like I'll be making shirts this weekend. Chanon had an extra 4:05 PM LTT reservation which she was kind enough to bequest to us so we will be dining at the same time as the rest of you.

Poor Janet called in the middle of my nightmare today. Janet, I swear that I am not usually so ditsy. It was nice talking to you and Chris and I are both looking forward to the Haunted Hayride. We will also join you for the Sci Fi dinner and since we are staying longer we may wait and do Fantasmic on Saturday as well.

So I would love to read itineraries if anyone has one.

Tammi, Blizzard Beach Saturday morning?

Are we still planning on Pleasure Island Friday night?

I really must plan now.

I think we will not get a rental car and just use Disney Transportation now so I guess I'd better book ME.

First I was like this :cool1: and then I was  and then I was :cool1: again. I'm sorry that you had the extra expense but I'm so excited that you will be there longer. Chuck & I are planning on Pleasure Island whenever someone is going. I think at one point we were saying JellyRolls on Friday night but then there was an issue with smoke? Chuck & I definitely want to go to Pleasure Island to the Comedy Club and Adventurers Club.

I am not working tomorrow night. I was so tired and feeling icky by the time I got done work tonight and one of the other waitresses was kind enough to take my shift. Hopefully I will be able to get some packing done. All this talk of Pal Mickey reminds me that we haven't packed anything for him. Chris says that he will carry him. He also said that his MNSSHP costume may be a streak :lmao:

I think we are planning pleasure island for Friday night. It can't come soon enough :cool1:

:rotfl: I definitely think we are soul sisters. ::yes::

I think we could bring all the DDA down on them.

Hee Hee.....you and are an awful lot alike...Jim was getting on my last nerve when I was about 7 months pregnant with Cassidy so I told him one more word and I would throw him across the street....he said "word" and was shocked when he landed across the street. :lmao: I am a bit taller. But I would so love to find those low lifes and slap them silly.

Cute.

Nicky may be wearing our new purchase.

Jennifer, how big do you think Virginia is?

:cool1: :cool1: :car: :cool1: :cool1:

Chris started the engine for his street rod tonight. He is over the moon happy. This has been a dream of his since before I met him. don't get me wrong, the car is far from finished, but now he knows that the motor runs and it sounds loud and tough.

I am afraid how sick the shot might make me, so I never get one. Last year was the first I had been that sick in a long time.

My mom got one this year, along with a pneumonia shot. Her cancer doctor thought it would be a good idea.

BTW, I got my flu shot yesterday, so hopefully I'll stay healthy this winter.

Glad that they were good about it.
Good idea for stocking stuffers.

Well, tonight I finally told the kids I was going to WDW. They were really good about it. They both said they want new shirts and Disney Jibbitz. So we went through the Jibbitz website and they named off all the ones they wanted. I figure I'll get a few to give to them now, and then get some for stocking stuffers.

Vicki - I got your check today. Thanks!

Chanon - Congrats! Very exciting!:cool1:

Jennifer - I hope things are better than you fear!:wizard: Which weekend are you hoping for in December? We'll be there Dec. 12-16.:)

Jennifer - Well, if you have your suitcase packed I guess Virginia can come on out now!:rotfl2:

I won 7 more pins today. Very tedious process. Almost to the point of not being fun.:sad2: I have enough now for free shipping so I might stop for awhile. (Yeah. Right. Like a heroin addict stops for awhile.)

Maybe while all of the other DDAers are at WDW I will post a fun little description of each and every pin I have won lately. Each one on a separate post.:rolleyes1 Is that the sort of nonsense you had in mind, Theresa?

You are a terrible enabler! I went to the Disney store tonight and bought the Snow White & Seven Drawfs set. :dance3:

Have some extra :wizard: :wizard: for airfare! I think I hate airfare. I FINALLY have 25,000 miles on American and it looks like they no longer offer ANY non-stop flights for less than 45,000 miles. I can move miles out of DH's account into mine but it will cost me $150 to do it. I refuse to fly anything other than non-stop for our long trip because we fly with so much luggage.

I just got an e-card from our friends from the UK. They are at WDW right now.:goodvibes We all met on an IllumiNations cruise.

Another friend just got back from WDW and bless her heart, she totally gets a do-over!:guilty:
She has lupus, and she has been having a lot of pain lately. Her Dr. told her not to go to Disney, but we all know that is NOT an option. She said it rained on them almost the whole time. One day she was trying to take her DS2 back for a rest. She got sick just outside of MK, so she had to go BACK into the park to the restrooms by City Hall. Her DS was screaming in his stroller, and she was laying on the floor. She said she was there for 45 minutes. Other moms came and went and not a single one asked her if she was OK, nobody offered to go get help for her, NOTHING.:headache: She is the sweetest mom, and I almost cried when she told me that this morning. So please, let's all agree that if we see a mom who looks like she might need help that we at least ask if she needs a CM.:sad2: They had horrible flight delays (6 hours) and lost luggage on the way home. Definitely a do-over.

I agree to help any mom that needs it when I'm at Disney. When we were there a couple of years ago, I helped a mom whose little girl had thrown up all over the bathroom at POR (and I mean it was ALL over) while I was in the stall. Poor little thing. The mom was worrying about trying to clean up the floor and take care of her little one. She was apologizing to me for the mess. Yeah right, like she had any control over that! I told her to take care of her daughter and I'd take care of the floor. I got paper towel and wiped it all up for her. She was so grateful. To me, it was 5 minutes out of my day and she could concentrate on the most important thing.
