Okay I am going to bed. I will chat with you guys tomorrow night from work or Sat morning.

You are a terrible enabler! I went to the Disney store tonight and bought the Snow White & Seven Drawfs set. :dance3:

I am not an enabler.:rolleyes1 Much.
I could say the same about you, but I don't have a Pal Mickey!;)

Rees did great today and then had a HORRIBLE night. Still no tests ordered. I am livid, mad, crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! John and I are going down in person tomorrow if something isn't done. This is ridiculous. And all this time Rees is hurting. I don't eat from stress, and then I binge eat to feel better. Not good for any of us at the moment. I'm headed to bed.

Denise, I am sorry they aren't moving faster! It does seem like it is taking an awfully long time for them to get him in! And now we're going into the weekend again.:sad2: Loads of good wishes for all of you! I hope you get some good news today!

Good morning, DDA!
DS has no school today. We are NOT going to the State Fair (which is why he has the day off). Elementary kids had off last Friday, today is middle and high school. I don't want to go to the fair the same day as all the high school kids!:scared: And the news did a story the other day about how as long as you have your license it is FINE to bring your concealed handgun to the fair with you. Of all of the places I might go where gunfire might break out I have to sat the fair is probably #1. We're going to the zoo in Ft. Worth. DH is covering a route that just has 1 store so he might be finished early enough to come with us. Princess will be SOOOO excited to have DS along that she won't care where we go.:rotfl2:

Good morning everyone! Where did this chilliness come from?!?! It was 45 when I took Phil to work this morning. Brrr!

I still need to catch up from yesterday, but that will have to wait until this afternoon as I have to make Dad's lunch and then take him to get his van. After that we've got to go buy a new harddrive so that Phil can resurrect our computer this weekend. Windows decided to lose a necessary file the other day so he has to wipe it all and start from scratch...after moving our files off of course!

Before I go though, I have two urgent prayer requests if you all could add them to the DDA list.

First, a good friend from our CA playgroup has a little boy who just turned 5. When he was a baby we use to call him my boyfriend because he was always so attached to me. Anyway, they found out on Tues that he has juvenille diabetes. His name is Ryan and he is struggling to accept the whole blood test/insulin/no Halloween candy thing. Also, his mom, Heidi, is struggling with the initial shock of the diagnosis, guilt that she didn't notice the issues sooner and grieving the loss of a "normal" life for her son. Luckily, the doctors say they caught it early and expect him to be able to regulate things fairly easily.

Second, and even more scary...Brendan's mom's boyfriend (been together 5+ years) was in a motorcycle accident sometime yesterday evening. He has at least one broken arm and probably two. The worst though is his leg. The doctor said that he has an 80% chance that he will lose his right leg. They should know better today what the prognosis is and their next steps. Terry is in his 50s, I believe, and loved his motorcycle. A very nice man and so good for Brenden's mom after the rough life she had with his dad.

Thanks everyone! My continued :wizard: for everyone here. I'll catch up this afternoon.

Denise, you have great instinct when it comes to Rees. If you feel you need to push then you should push real hard and get in the doctor's faces if needed. Tomorrow is the weekend and something needs to happen today to help you all through :wizard: :grouphug:

I'm working on packing for our trip  I am always done weeks ahead and this time I'm just starting. Of course with the itinerary change I need to make adjustments. I know that many of you are wearing the MNSSHP party design that has been posted. I'm assuming black shirts. What are you wearing for shorts/skorts with it? I don't think my blacks match :scared1: :rotfl2: I need some wardrobe guidance here.

Have a great time at the zoo, I hope DH is done earl enough to make it a Family outing. I think I'd be in the same boat as you with the fair.

thoughs and prayers to your friends. I hope the little guy can get into a routine that works for everyone and takes some of the scaryness out of the situation.
I hope that Terry's prognoisis is not as grim as they originally thought and that he heals fast and fully.

Got time to wash your shirt enough times to fade the black a little to match your shorts/skorts, before you iron on the design? otherwise i would just say , black is black and go with what ya got, unless you're looking for an excuse to go shopping :P .. then I say they have to match and go find the right black for you lol ..

Even though Stephanie and I are not staying for the party, we are wearing the design on purple shirts.

I did our shirts on black and dug out some royal blue shorts that match ok for both of us. Pal Mickey has the design on a purple T.
